I am definitely satisfied with my 2011 Sante Fe Limited 😁 I have exactly 195404 miles on it, no warning lights are on, and it’s super fast for a mid sized suv. Tomorrow will be the ultimate test I’m driving from California to New Orleans Tomorrow almost 2000 miles 😳😩so I will be back with another review once I reach my destination.

the 2012 Hyundai Sonata is a smooth comfortable car with a potential flaw that Hyundai has, in my opinion, addressed adequately. First the Pros: It is stylish in both the interior as well as exterior design. It is comfortable, even for me at 6'3" and is not tiring for extended periods on the highway. The fuel economy is good averaging for me about 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. The engine has reasonable power when needed and is generally smooth. The cons are that the 4-cylinder Theta-II engine that the Sonata Uses, (as well as the Santa Fe and Kia Optima and Sorento) has a known flaw that causes the #4 cylinder connecting rod bearing to wear out prematurely causing engine failure. Hyundai has recently extended the Engine Warranty to a lifetime warranty on these engines and that includes if you bought the car used. I think this is a reasonable response. My Sonata suffered this exact failure 5 months ago at 164,000 miles and the engine was replaced with no pushback. The car carried an original 100K mile warranty which is still considered industry leading so, legally, any car over 100K miles Hyundai and Kia could have stuck to their original warranty agreement and taken no action. But that is not what they are doing. One of the reasons I gave Korean cars a try several years ago was the lack of response I got on a Japanese brand known for their high quality that also had a known failure point but took no action after the warranty expired. Because of Hyundai's ultimate response I still highly recommend the car. if you have a higher mileage Sonata, my advice would be sure you have some sort of roadside assistance, so in case you experience this same failure, you will not be left stranded. The good news is that in the rare instance you experience this issue, you should receive a new engine.

Well just got to 190K miles with minimal trouble. Hit two deer and had repairs other than that just tires, oil, a couple lights was the maintenance. Mine is a 4 cylinder but has been up to 123 mph. Impressive power for a 4 banger I hate to think of giving it up.

In late 2015 I ordered and bought a 2016 Hyundai accent. I was looking for a car under $20,000 CAD that would suit my purposes and that would be safe enough for my teenaged kids to learn and drive. The dealer experience was not what I would call a positive one. As this is about the car I will not go into detail here. The look of the little 2016 accent hatchback is really a 8/10. Put on some cheap fun stripes and you’ll be getting second looks; 9/10 then. Other body styles for the Accent are well…meh. Now the car itself is cheap to buy, and built cheaply. There is no doubt about that. There is an awful lot of road noise, there is usually some body part rattle, the torque is laughable, but again—it is cheap. I call this a Meccano car. Why? Because replacing parts is as easy as a Meccano set. And you WILL need to learn how to do this. This car gets no respect in parking lots; it’s constantly being dinged and hit by other cars. It has low clearance; road debris doesn’t go under the car— it cracks up all the plastic bits. Oh yeah, and the four or so fibre skid plates? Two disappeared within the first six months. One ripped off in a puddle during a rainstorm. However, because there’s so much plastic, and parts are easily available due to the car’s ubiquity, it’s fairly cheap to fix. This car can be insanely efficient. If you’re hypermiling, you can achieve 5.2 L per 100 km. I drive aggressively and get 6.2 or so. In town aggressive, will get you 7.4. My battery lasted six years before replacement. No complaints there. I take care of my car. I do most regular services on time. It’s been parked outside in Canadian prairie weather it’s entire life. It starts at -35C without the block heater plugged in. It’s insanely reliable and is just now displaying the first signs of rust from our heavily salted winter roads. Speaking of which– this thing is so light that you absolutely NEED winter tires up here, even if it is a front wheel drive or isn’t the law. While I would probably never buy a car like this used with 100000 km or more, I have been pretty happy with this thing. I like it better than my past Fords, Nissan, my four Chryslers, and even my Audi (based on price vs reliability). It was a good buy. I knew I was getting a cheap, disposable car. My car was brought in from a dealership an hour away. During my test drive the airbag light was on. Not one of the tires was the same brand. Didn?t know that was allowed. They compromised with splitting the cost of just 1 new tire. It?s been 5 days and the airbag switch still hasn?t been replaced. (They?re wrking on it). I?d like my new car soon. They cashed my check. However, the manager has been terrific.

My 19 year old and his fiance just had my first grandson. They currently only have one car which was the the Saturn Ion I gave him that he "like his first Avenger" he clapped out and broke. I saw it and realized his fiance needed a car he can't touch lol. Enter bank of dad. I needed a car that will be a safe point A to point B for a fair price and this dealer had cars right where I was looking. I went there, explained my situation and asked what would be the best option. I got suggested a Malibu that after checking out told its own story that matched what I was explained. I drove it and while I'm at best a YOUTUBE certified mechanic, I'm a network engineer by trade and pretty handy. Shifted great, engine ran strong, and AC blew cold. This was a car that could easily be double sale price if they spent the money and labor in some body parts to make it "pretty" and a few hours of detailing. My son can fix stuff and have tons of detailing stuff for him to clean it. To anyone leaving bad reviews at a place like this, I can guess you probably just got unlucky. These places have to GET cars for less than what they are selling them for to make money. Obviously said person didn't find a car themselves for "x" price so they went to a dealer. The experience I had was that they were super up front and honest about what they're selling. At no point did I get the "if you just spent this much you'll get this or if this car is the most reliable car on earth, expect 1000000 miles etc". These are low cost, as is running and driving cars for a super fair price. I feel like I got one xxxx of a deal and now have the peace of mind knowing my grandson is in a safer car.

Y is my 2008 hyundia Santa Fe underbody frame all rusted out and outer car body has no rust.the cars a danger to drive right now.

I love my hyundai elantra gls, got her at 113k , its at 187k currently and always reliable , fun to drive and I do all my own maintenance work! The only thing I can't stand is the cloth beige seats stain with rain or water only! Hard to get the perfect clean seats It's annoying so seat covers fixed that! I love this car I may buy another same year with lower miles!!

I went to a few dealership on Saturday with my wife looking for a car for my college bound son. We were both impressed with Arko and how kind and easy going they were. A few places we went to didn't even bother to come out and say hello. When we told Arko we weren't looking to purchase quite yet he still gave us the same attention as he did when he thought he'd maybe have a sale that day. We will for sure be back.

Agree with the other reviewers. Great car all around. Best bang for your buck. Until my wife's car I was not familiar with Hyundai. She has a 2015 sonata sport and it was so dependable and nicely equipped that I was sold on the brand when my wife's car hit 130k and she never did anything to it except brakes, new tires, and oil changes.. not to mention that one is still going strong today as well. So anyway... Bought the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe limited ultimate awd used a year ago with 50k miles on it for similar reasons others seem to have bought one. Dependability, comparable or better features than competitors in its class, not bad on gas mpg, tons of cargo space, great tow capacity, pano sunroof, heated and cooling seats, standard plug in trunk, second row captains seats that recline and move forward and back oh not to mention are heated, heated steering wheel, great v6 power house, privacy shades in second row, nice touch screen, awesome 10 speaker audio system with subwoofer, high intensity headlights, oh and a limited slip rear locking differential that is on vehicles like the new genesis suv or my ram 1500, both are around $50kish new with those options. The only thing I wish it had which my one year older 2015 ram 1500 Laramie longhorn has is front sensors for parking and led lit side door storage areas but that truck was $10-15k more brand new than the Santa Fe was new... So moral of the story, pretty impressive Hyundai.

I've owned a Sonata 2.0T Limited since 2011. Only major issue was metal shavings in the engine block. Hyundai installed a new engine and everything us been perfect for the next 47K miles. I'm also 6'5" and over 300Lbs but I'm always comfortable when driving or being a passenger in the front seat. I would buy another one but my wife wants something higher to stay above the traffic.

2007 Limited, new August, 2007. Almost 180K, never been in shop. Sure-footed as a mountain goat in snow/ice here in Maryland. Fast, holds its own on highway. VERY comfortable interior. VERY quiet - a key purchasing point for us. Styling still ahead of its time - looks much better than competitors. Plenty of cargo room. She’ll be with us forever!

Bought the 2012 Veloster shortly after its introduction. It has all of the trim options available, though I never learned to use them. This car has had a lot of pesky recalls, but that is like a lot of vehicles. There have been NO problems for my car, except for an inexpensive part repair in the steering column at about 90K miles. I bought this car because of 1) the great m.p.g., 2) the sporty appearance, and 3) to more easily navigate city traffic. My only complaints are: 1) the seats are not well-padded nor provide lumbar support, but they hold you great when zipping around sharp curves in the mountains, 2) it sits so low to the ground (as sporty cars do), which make it difficult for a tall and older person to get in and out. Those who desire a lot of power would probably be disappointed.
