Used Isuzu cars for sale near Vacaville, CA

152000 miles, nothing done to it but basic maintenance. I bought it used for $4300 a few years ago, and couldn't ask for a more reliable little vehicle. Like any vehicle that is 13 years old and a 4x4, it's not great on gas. I get 15-18 MPG, but that is to be expected. The interior is roomy enough for me (6'2", 360 lbs), and would be plenty for a smaller person. I would love to see Isuzu come back to the US market and release a new model of this, but this time with an electronic sunroof and soft top! I hate manually removing the soft top, and if you're caught in a rainstorm, it's really awful. But every Jeep owner knows about that. Speaking of Jeeps, the ride is far better than a Jeep offers. For the money, you really can't get a more fun and reliable vehicle.

Mine's going on 22 years old, and still runs like a top. Only issues I have are rust and burning oil - which were risks right from the beginning. I think If users were warned of these issues ahead of time, and given the chance to mitigate them, the Rodeo would have lasted beyond 2004. Of all the vehicles I've owned, the Rodeo have never left me stranded. It tows and hauls like a champ. Tons of torque, and ok mileage. Maintenance I've had to do over the years: Replace timing belt, radiator, water pump, fan clutch, spark plugs, Fuel Filter and fuel pump, and vehicle speed sensor. My plan is to get a 2015 Nissan Xterra after the Rodeo finally dies, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen anytime soon.

The isuzu is very reliable mine was sitting for 4 years, cleaned it up and it spins like a top turns over good. And I did a muffler delete and it sounds very good I have a 3.2l v6.

I bought the Trooper in 1998 and we had it until recently (1009) when we had a minor accident, but it was totaled becasue of cost of repair. It was the most economic SUV to get serviced, very raely needed anything but the regular services and in short is just an amazingly reliable vehicle. We were extremely upset when we had to let it go.

I have a 2002 Rodeo LS 4x4, and I absolutely LOVE it! A very powerful, safe, stylish, DEPENDABLE, comfortable SUV. I only pd $600 for mine from a private seller. It had $1200 worth of tires on it! Since Isuzu stopped selling it, most ppl don't remember them- or aren't interested in a vehicle this old. Fine by me!! Besides all the 5 star features, it's a head turner. Having kept the maintenance tip top, I expect many more years enjoying her. You won't be sorry.

Bought my 1999 trooper 13 years ago. Tranny was bad when I bought it and 70,000 miles later it's trouble free I have people tell me they wish they didn't sell theirs and some asked if it was for sale and I politely say no not for sale

Ryan was an excellent communicator. Did a good enough presale that I actually flew down to drive my car back home. Everything matched description and photos except for TPMS but that's easily remedied. I would purchase from Ryan again.

Pulls my 1981 Ski Nautique, rides great, no major maintenance problems except for the fan I replaced, and new tires at 80,000 miles. 13mpg in town, 19mpg on the Interstates. Bought used in 2008 with 70,000 miles, and I love it.

When I purchased this car with 60,000 miles on it over 12 years ago, I had no idea I would fall in love. A lifelong truck or van owner, this purchase met my needs for a more car-like vehicle to tote around more than 1 passenger. It sits up high like a truck but has the interior comforts of a somewhat plush car - great sound system, super comfortable seats, and common sense ergonomics for the driver. Currently clocking in at just over 240,000 miles, this car has never let me down. If they still made these, I'd buy another one today.

My 2007 Ascender is our daily driver. It has almost 260,000 miles and still run like new. Quiet and comfortable, cold ac, safe to drive with solid body, strong engine and powerful transmission. Driven daily up and down the hill where I live since buying this car. Never had a major issue. Very easy to do your own DIY repair and maintenance. Cheap replacement parts and easy accesibility because it has almost similar parts used on Chevy Envoy, Trailblazer, GMC, Rainer etc.. I wanted to buy a new SUV but I can’t because this SUV doesn’t want to give up. I love it!

I came here since they happened to have a specific car I was interested in and was amazed at the excellent service and low pressure sales. Zeke was wonderful to work with; he handled everything independently and it was great to not get the run around with multiple managers and sales people. He got me a fair price for my trade in and when the car I bought had a few mechanical issues (100k+ mi so not unexpected) he went above and beyond to figure out the issues and get me safely on the road. Good all round vehicle. Size is perfect for me interior and exterior Plug blew once from transmission when it became hot while driving in heavy traffic.

I love this vehicle too much! It is so fun to drive because it handles so well and has unbeatable pickup when you need it. I bought mine new in 1999 and am still running it with 200,000 miles on it in 2010. I just can't let it go - its worth million$ to me, but only $3 grand if I sell it. The cargo space is HUGE, especially if you're comparing it to a Jeep Wrangler (which has basically none). Every weekend, I put in 3 large hockey bags, hockey sticks, my 2 kids, and my wife, with room to spare (try THAT in any other 2 door truck!). Why, oh why, did Isuzu discontinue the Amigo?

I?m the original owner of a 98 Rodeo (18 years now), and I?ve been quite happy with it. There has been some repairs along the way, but these items were typically wear oriented ? IE: limited slip clutch pack, starter solenoid, etc. I?ve managed to perform most of the repairs myself and the vehicle is not to hard to work on. Bought the Rodeo shop manual with the vehicle. I like the Rodeo for its size and capability. There are not many vehicles in this size that are; body on frame, comfortably seat 4, can tow 5000lbs, and not take up much space in the garage. The 4:30 differential is wonderful for my 17? travel trailer. In my younger days I even went bush whacking with it and it performed well. Got me out of some places I should not have gone. In the winter I do wish it had an iron block as it cools off so quick, but I manage by completely sealing the front. Ride is a little stiff as I think the suspension is overbuilt. Cargo volume is good, roof rack is strong. I have a manual transmission, and here on the highway once the cruise is set, speed hardly changes ? no matter how steep the hills.

I love everything about this car, the handling is great, it it dependable, looks great inside out. this car hauls my pets to vet, my groceries every week, my items i buy at yard sales(my hobbie), all my other shopping oh so easy. there is so much room in the back, and when you let the back seats down such room.
