i drive an 89 xj6 and i luv to travel with this one. i have other vhix but this one has the best ride and is most comfy. it the oldest i have but my favorite open road runner. if u never had one or drove one, you are missing out.

I purchased our Big Kitty, Jaguar XJ40 Vanden Plas (XJ6) well over ten years ago...Some might say stole. Being a fairly capable shade tree mechanic, I have been able to fix all the issues the car had when I purchased her, inexpensively. Since she has been sorted the only issue has been a fuel pump needing replacement. Regular service. I have driven her roughly 15-20,000 miles in the last 10 years and she has always been powerful, smooth and a true pleasure to drive. We are part of a local Jaguar club and participate in many events throughout the year with our club.

I bought a 2000 Porsche Boxster S from Iannelli. After having some issues with the car I wrote a negative review. Not long after my review I was given a personal call from the son of the original owners. He was concerned about my issues and said that he would compensate me for my repairs. I had a problem with road noise, thought it was the tire. Replaced the tires, still there! Repair shop replaced U-joints and center shaft bearings, still there! Carrier bearings in the IRS rear-end. Drives like a dream now. New paint and limo tinted windows. Fit for my Queen Martine!

Enjoyable classic Jaguar. Last in the line of straight 6 cylinders. Just needs routine repairs for 24 year old car! Except that Tranny failed at 80k miles though. Bummer!

I am writing ANOTHER review for Trend Auto since I continue to use them for maintenance issues regarding my used Toyota Sienna that I purchased from them years ago. 1997 xj6 British racing green with 56k on the clock. The poor man's Rolls Royce. Very reliable just brakes and batteries. Major problem, ABS module needs repair but it can be sent out and repaired for about $150. Cup holders all break on this year, glued it shut. I get compliments wherever I go. I will never sell it. It's like a work of art. New Jaguars look like overgrown Honda accords. The 95,96,97 were the best Jags ever made. I believe the 1997 is the way to go if you are buying one. I love it so much if I had to spend $5000 or even $10,000 I would because what could I buy for that kind of money that gives me so much pleasure.
