Car is performing at peak performance, the V8 has wonderful low engine torque, so much for so little. I have done so many of the things that make this car desirable.

I've only owned my XK8 for six months, so I cannot speak to my own long-term experience, but I researched and followed these cars for four years before buying one. It's one of those cars you buy because you want one--bad. Jaguars, at their best, appeal to your heart. That doesn't mean you have to turn off your brain, though. I can say that my car was well-designed and well-built. It feels solid and tight and built to a high standard. I've owned mostly Japanese cars--Hondas, Acuras, and a Lexus, which I still own. These are not true sports cars; they are luxury GTs. That's important to note. I had a Honda S2000 before this--totally different animal. The X100 (XK8 and XKR, 1996--2006) is a heavy car--almost two tons, so even with a V8 under the bonnet, they aren't "fast" by today's measure. (The supercharged XKR is the way to go for those looking for more of that kind of thrill.) I gave my car a 5 for performance because to me it perfectly fits the bill for what it is. It's composed, quiet, and handling is capable, not corner-carving. The steering is precise but light. It does not wander on-center. The car is gorgeous inside and out, and the interior is bordering on sumptuous. The seats are the most comfortable and supportive for long trips I've ever owned, and I've had some nice cars. Mine is a Victory Edition final-year model, with the "soft-grain" leather interior. This leather is soft and supple but it wears really well. My interior looks new and my car has 52K on it. As for reconditioning and upkeep: these cars are all 20--30 years old. They will need this and that. Buy in the best condition you can find and you'll come out ahead financially over buying one that needs work. (Unless of course you're a skilled DIY.)

Absolutely love my 2009 Premium Luxury 3 litre diesel. Looks beautiful in deep red, with cream leather interior. Drives like a dream, whether trundling around the city, or cruising the open motorways. Interior is stunning, one of the nicest I've seen in any car. It's truly the best do-everything car I've owned. Tows my small motorbike trailer, doesn't even know it's there. Gets you to your destination in supreme comfort, you feel like you've just popped to the local shop. Leaves the boy racers trailing in it's wake. With a stage 1 remap, a flick of the gears to 'Sport', and a press of the 'Dynamic' button, it turns into a snarling, charging rocketship. Has NEVER been beaten! The only downside is...... what could I possibly replace it with? For the money, nothing else comes close. Everyone loves 'Ruby', especially me. Had the 2005 S type 2.7 diesel previously, and the 3 litre XF is miles ahead.

my 2015 Jaguar XJ all wheel drive 3.0 V6, what can I say other than I love it these cars are built much different than the average they do require maintenance again ,they do require maintenance ,if you do not believe in maintaining your car this is not the car for you however if you do maintain your car this car will shine for you ,beautiful to look at beautiful to ride in , wonderful incredible road manners a real gentleman on the road and a sports car in sheep‘s clothing ,over the top luxury the interior is incredibly beautiful love the lines of the exterior haven’t had a problem with it , the supercharged V6 kick butt and yet delivers great gas mileage I am a big fan of Jaguar‘s that’s why I own 2 xj’s . I have owned three Mercedes-Benz and I can actually say I would never own another, I realize the cost in owning a jag but it’s the price to pay to be this type of boss, to me nothing beats it in the interior , or Exterior style and I just can’t get past those items I haven’t had a problem as I mentioned ,however if you are buying a jag , and you’re not gonna buy a new one , I encourage you to do your homework don’t buy the cheapest jag buy the best maintain jag , do your homework even BMW Mercedes Audi have people who ,buy them and are slackers they don’t maintain the cars they turn them in , or literally drive them until there’s a major problem and then trade it in ,don’t be cheap realize what you’re driving and maintain it there’s nothing like looking out the window into your driveway to see a gorgeous car that you don’t see pulling around the corner at every other stoplight the stares you’ll get will really blow you away as though ,you are royalty or a celebrity but that’s what you get when you drive a jag

When I walk past a super new expensive boutique car like a Bentley or a super Mercedes, I sometimes peak in the window and still not sure if I'd trade my current 2011 xf in for it. I bought it second hand and the private jaguar specialist I took it to noted it was a "bulletproof 3.0L V6." It is easily the most reliable car I've ever owned and the ride, power, comfort, styling and equipment make it a pleasure to drive and pleasure to own. Pure pleasure. I intend on holding onto it for as long as I can. You must get an Manual service and sure, sometimes a particular part is comically more expensive than it's equivalent part in a humble Ford or Toyota. But it's not ridiculously expensive like a Porsche and it's worth giving it love and attention.

I purchased this car about 6 years ago (5.0 n/a XK). From a design perspective, it still holds up and looks modern. I actually like the looks of the base models as they don't have all of the side skirts and aero that change the lines of the original design a bit. The front was slightly redesigned in 2012 and looks a little more aggressive. Performance is great, end the sound of the engine when you get on the gas is addictive. Heated/Cooled seats with 16 way adjustments are great. Back seat is good for some soft luggage. I don't put a lot of miles on the car, but besides yearly oil changes my main cost has been tires. The 20" wheels & tires on this car look great... but stay away from potholes if you can. If you can get the car with 19" wheels... do it... they have some more sidewall. I've replaced both front tires due to pothole hits splitting the sidewalls. If you can't get the 19s, get a road hazard plan when you buy tires. The only other complaint is the touch screen. It is very outdated and slow... only saving grace is that it supports usb mp3 playback (no bluetooth music... only calls). There is not a ton of aftermarket add ons for these cars (exhaust and wheels) and if you get into an accident in an old one, don't be surprised if your car gets totaled out for even seemingly minor damage due to the cost of aluminum body repair. I love this car for roadtrips with the wife, and weekend drives... but I have a Subaru for driving the kids and bad weather.

The Jaguar XE is a sporty sedan with all the latest technology. It is fun to drive. I do wish it had a larger trunk.

The portfolio long wheelbase model has been a superb pick having all of the options like air cooled, heated and massaging seats, Touchscreen and voice activated navigation, smart phone integration, lane change management, and everything you’d expect on a modern day luxury vehicle but more than you’d ever imagine on a car over 12 years old with the price to own being everything for practically nothing to look like something that is driven by someone with style frim the upper class. That is as long as it is respected and maintained by someone who is diligent with their duty to keep it tuned, serviced and detailed to be something so rare out there. Not like the million Benz and Beamer badges aging as seen by the millions when the Jag was limited in it’s initial production to combine rare styling, beauty, sexy seduction in the thousands. It’s known to catch your eye as others sneak by because the kitty has the smart and witty look that won’t lag to keep it on top horsepower slotted as a true beast found under the beauty’s clothing made to fly as the claws grip still catching your eye to lead and never chase when the BenzBeamer labels are like drifting rafts lefts behind the in the horsepower motor blast that streams like a dream to be a that's that’s cast with the big dreamers of rare owners leaving their prey behind to find greater fun around the curves and corners zooming past that typical scene no Jag can be said to hang or lag or age like some old outdated hag. I have a 2003 xtype manual AWD. One of the best cars I've owned. Had it 8 years now and no mechanical issues. I've replaced the front suspension parts as needed. Mine has 143000 miles on it and will still do 130 mph. Fun car to drive, and very reliable. The parts are fairly inexpensive if you don't buy from Jag. And any repairs or maintenance is pretty simple like any other car. It has gone through tires faster than most cars but still worth owning. The one problem I have with the car is, insurance tends to be really high for some reason. The car does depreciate fairly rapidly. I will have this car many more years.

Purchasing a new SUV from AutoNation Costa Mesa. The Sales man was great, but the process took forever. When we signed the paperwork, they tried to sell me every extra service under the sun. It was like sitting through a time share presentation. Also, when they deliver the vehicle, it was not clean.

Great auto. Fast and comfortable. Had to clean out the garage because this baby has to be put inside. Neighbor said if he saw me driving Jag in the winter he would call Jaguar and have the car taken away from me. It is an all wheel drive!!!!

The F-Pace is an excellent sporty SUV. 2.5L engine has been completely trouble free. The suspension on this generation is a bit firmer than the newer generation. The performance and fuel economy is great. The infotainment system allows for apple car play (corded). The F Pace is bigger than other compact SUVs in its class. I wish Jag wasn’t so committed to going all electric because they have taken the Land Rover Velar and made the F-Pace more sporty and luxurious.

We were in the market for an upgrade. Small non Japanese SUV. We looked at BMW, Benz, Audi and Volvo. And then we found the E-Pace. The interior is so beautifully designed. The exterior is stylish. A ton of high tech features. The package overall is the best. And you do not see it at every turn and intersection. If you are looking for a unique car, go for the E-Pace. Actually, we liked it over the bigger F-Pace

I have owned 4 of these X-TYPE Jaguars. Never had any trouble with them and they have been great winter cars! All wheel drive is the best out there. Easy to service and take care of.

Went in for a test drive and a day later I bought a used car from Lexus of Cerritos. It was no pressure. Much better than my experience 20 years ago buying a new car. No more haggling, sales pitches, games, waiting, etc. I test drove a car, looked at the price, and walked away. No issue. The next day, came back and bought the car. Nice and easy.

I am happy that I purchased this vehicle. It's stylish and comfortable. My entire family can ride without it being overcrowded. The best car I've ever owned.
