I,ve had several Jeeps and Subarus and Chevys and my Compass Latitude 4x4 is as good as any for around the city and my freeway trips. Better than the Subaru for the highway and offroad. I feel safe. posted this as i feel some people are harsh and wrong about Jeeps. Do the required oil and transmission services as requested.

My wife and I bought a 23' Jeep Compass Limited with 15K miles. We were looking for something small but also a vehicle that could offer 4x4. My initial impression of it at the dealership was that it has an awesome exterior paint color (granite crystal) and black wheels to compliment it. The car drives great on the highway and city. It's a very comfortable ride and the car can turn on a dime! I am currently averaging 30 mpg while commuting to work each day. I have noticed the car will sometimes have difficulty up shifting. As long as I apply more gas it eventually gets over it. Not a big deal for me as my last vehicle would do the same thing. The rear view camera is nice on the Compass, however it is completely useless at night. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

Bought brand new 9 miles on it now 5400 went from Iowa through Colorado to Arizona no problems other that forward Collison sensors getting dirty and the auto stop start not always working.I used rock mode on my trailhawk in canyon land it was a blast

I bought a 2023 Jeep compass Latitude Lux. Wish they come with all the other specs in driver assists like wireless charging, power tailgate, dual zone AC control, adaptive cruise control etc.

We purchased a 2024 Jeep Compass Limited Elite. This vehicle has far surpassed our expectations for comfort, handling, road noise and quality. There is very little road noise we hear inside the vehicle, and this allows us to keep the radio turned down to a comfortable level. Handling is exceptional and very responsive. The driver safety features of lane guidance, adaptive cruise control (my favorite) and 360-degree backup camera are now features we will not go without after experiencing first hand performance. I have had my 22 High Altitude for about 4 months now and the only issue(s) I find are the following: MPG is not as advertised, it's not that great. It's around 24 average, I am about 50/50 city/highway driving - It's fine. It DOES ride like a Jeep - so it's not as "luxurious" as your higher end cars, but YOU BOUGHT A JEEP - The last snow storm we had in Cleveland was about 10" in 2 hours - No problem, even with 235/45/19 tires - Would be way better with not so wide tires. It's slow. Who cares? Are you driving in the F1? Nah - It's plenty. Interior is baller. Infotainment is great, comfortable. Heated steering wheel is a plus. IDK - I read these reviews and everyone is so picky - It's a nice ride. If you find you like it, give it a shot.

I own a 2018 Compass with 1.4 l gas engine, 125 kw, 170 HP. This is not mentionned in the article. And this engine is quite more powerful than the American atmospheric one. Still, the Jeep is not quick :) The gas pedal still 'creates more sound than speed' :) Giedrius, Europe

Based on driving habits. I never had a major issue. Drives great, rides nice, sound of speakers could be better but overall best SUV I ever got. Others may complain. But riding it hard all the time will tear up anything u drive. But overall keeping as long it goes 4 yrs so far and can't complain

Me and my family have been researching for the best car deals for months now and finally a place to buy cars without issues. The first day we just drove onto the lot and started walking around looking at the cars and were greeted in a friendly manner by a Hertz Representative named by Tammy Watkins. She was very knowledgeable about the cars we were interested in and offered us to test drive the cars. We ended up test driving several cars that day and Tammy was very patient with us and did not pressure us at all. We told her we like the cars and would come back with a mechanic another day to test drive and inspect the cars. Then we came back on a 3rd day to finalize all the financial, DMV, and warranty paper work to purchase both cars. In my many years of car driving and ownership, I have rarely had a better vehicle than my 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude. It has been reliable, comfortable, fun to drive and, for its' size and type, very good on gas. In April, I will have been driving "Lattie"for 5 years. My upkeep has been minimal. She is pretty and still looks new. This vehicle is such a pleasure to drive. Handling and response are excellent. Controls are super easy to manage and absolutely love the heated seat and steering wheel. On a long trip, it is very comfortable (yes, I have ridden in the back seat, too) and fuel economy was just great...fully loaded with air-conditioner on and travelling at highway speeds gave me 30+ mpg. Really can't complain. My Neon didn't do any better. This is a great vehicle. Oh, and I had leased it new, and purchased it when the lease was up..that's how good this car is!

I cannot recommend Eddie Aguilar at California Motors Direct enough! If you want a salesperson who is terrifically professional and truly on your side, this is the guy. We drove through two counties and fought a ton of traffic to make this deal happen, and Eddie was more than patient with our schedule. What really blew us away was that he and his manager stayed late just to ensure we left that night with the car we deserved. It felt like "NO" wasn't even in his work vocabulary—he ground out the details and made the numbers work perfectly for both the lender and me. I really love my new Compass, I enjoy driving it. It handles very nice and for a 4 cylinder engine it moves. The interior is very beautiful and comfortable.

The buying process was easy. But it did help that I already went with a pre-approval letter and check from my credit union. The only dislike was the sell of warranties. If I'm buying a pre-certified used vehicle, I shouldn't have to buy another warranty to cover electrical if the original warranty is bumper to bumper!

My only complaint are the front seats do not have enough cushion and the seatbelt latch pushes into your hip on the drivers side. and standard lumbar support on all models added
