My jeep liberty 2012 is parked. It could only do 25km/hr on the road. Gas pedal not working anymore. Just 2616 miles. I need a help to cruise this car

I love my Liberty! I was inspired to buy mine (used) after temporarily inheriting my Dad’s 2008 Liberty. I’ll comment on the 2008, then the 2012. 2008: Bought brand new out of the showroom; it was an everyday driver and has been very reliable. No problems with the engine or transmission, 4-wheel drive works great. Some very minor issues with the power window switch, it stopped working, but easy fix. The AC takes a little while to cool the interior down, but it hasn’t been serviced or recharged. This Liberty just turned 300,000 and is still running well! 2012 bought used with 65,000. This Liberty is also a daily driver. The engine and Transmission are fine, no issues. The 4-wheel drive system has been good as well. Used it several times on snowy unplowed Wisconsin roads and it has been solid. Holds skis, snowboards really well. Biggest service item will be new tires. One minor issue with the AM/FM radio, the receiver chip in the radio went bad, so no AM/FM. But the CD and Jack work fine. This Liberty just crossed 125,000 and is running like a champ. Final note: I hated the look and everything about the Liberty when my Dad bought his. Then I drove it. Complete game changer; now I absolutely love it!

Bought this vehicle new for my daughter. Regular service and maintenance with no major issues. Vehicle currently has 167,000 and still going strong. Hope for least another 100,000.

I only have this not quite a month now and it is a nice jeep, I think a bit of a gas guzzler somewhat but overall so far i'm very happy, its a used car with low miles so i'm not expecting perfection ... we will see but so far i like the look i've done some things to improve its look as well and overall 3.5 stars i guess is best to say. Brought with 76k miles.

Bought used in 2015 with 42k miles and as of today 10/27/22 almost 200,000 miles on the beast. I have lucked out with having NO engine/transmission issues. Love the boxy style and there is so much room that I never feel stressed about having enough room for all my stuff. Will keep the beast till it rusts apart!! 2nd jeep for me, 95 wrangler rio grande package bought brand new.

This Jeep is undoubtedly the best of the cars that my fiance and I have owned. In the two short years since we bought it, we've taken it to southern Florida and back three times without any trouble. It's been reliable and for me, pretty comfortable. Love our Jeep!

My husband was always the one who took care of all our vehicle maintenance. I lost him to cancer a year ago and now I'm trying to take care of his truck that he loved and my vehicle. I've now brought the truck to Harper twice for maintenance. Andy was my contact and was great to work with. They were able to diagnose an issue quickly and he let me know about some recommended maintenance that was due on the truck. I was able to go ahead and get that done in the same visit. Finding someone you trust to do work on your vehicles when you relied on your husband to do it is hard. I have been pleased each time I've brought the truck in. I will continue to use Harper for my car services.

I used to have a jeep liberty years ago and really liked it so I was excited to find an affordable used one when looking for a new car. This is the second jeep liberty I've owned and my third jeep since I started driving. I was in a pretty bad accident in my first jeep liberty, the whole thing flipped and I walked away without even a scratch. I feel safe driving it. I also love the design and interior. For being a 2008 it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a new car (no gps, bluetooth connection, etc.) but it doesn't feel like being in an almost 15 year old car. The interior is sleek and attractive. I love everything about the look of the car inside and out. My boyfriend has a Subaru and for a while I was set on getting one but I think I'll always be a jeep girl. I just love them.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2025 Subaru Crosstrek from Grayson Subaru. Our salesman, Jay Kadlec, was extremely knowledgeable about the Crosstrek. I've had this car for 12 years. It still only has 64k miles. Think little old lady. One expensive repair in all that time is pretty good for as old as it is. The sensor lights stay on all the time, but the car sill runs like a top. I would buy another Jeep if they still made them to look like a Jeep again.

I have the Limited model 4X2 which is otherwise loaded with options and bought from my brother who’s daughter had since new and currently has 119,000 miles. After detailing the vehicle which didn’t take as much time as I normally would on a 8 year old car to bring it to my cosmetic standards, I realized that this vehicle’s exterior paint quality is impressive for being Black in color as well as other styling components being well made. I admired the vehicle after I put 8 solid hours into it and said to myself “What a kick “Butt” looking Jeep” - I have the Limited model (loaded otherwise) and bought from my brother who’s daughter had since new, currently has 119,000 miles. After detailing the vehicle which didn’t take as much time as I normally would on a 8 year old car to bring it to my cosmetic standards, I realized that this vehicle’s exterior paint quality is impressive for being Black in color. Yes you need to push the gas pedal a bit more just to get it moving from a stand still in a parking lot as an example, but come on, it’s 5,000 pounds and all muscle. Fuel mileage is HORRIBLE and worse then my 2015 E Class Mercedes V6 which shocked me. When I first took it out on the road, I could immediately feel the the solid all around quality of the suspension. I really like the thick leather wrapped steering wheel. The “Infinity” entertainment system along with the Touch Screen is an all around great system and very responsive with no lag when using the touch screen. The sound quality is incredible and the factory Sub Wofer mounted in the rear gives you the sense of being in a dance club. I do my own general maintenance and this Jeep is real easy to work on. I’ve read that the Transmission can go out around 100,000 miles but my brother has done regular service 2X previously and I just did it when I took possession at 119,000 miles. The leather seats are poor quality but I use Maguire's products to keep the seat surfaces from abnormal cracking and so far they are holding up. The dash has a small screen to scroll through different parts of the vehicle’s status like tire pressure on all wheels, etc.. The designers/engineers spent a lot of time on building a solid vehicle. It’s not a Toyota and you have to expect a higher repair rate, but if you keep on top of important general & regular maintenance, you will have a higher rate of reliability. I was recently involved in an accident. In the accident I rolled down a culvert a couple of times and thankfully landed upright. I feel the reason I survived this accident was because of the front and back roll bars on the trail tested Jeep Liberty Sport. From now on I will only buy a trail tested Jeep.

This is the last year the Liberty was made by Jeep! The 4wheel drive is the perfect all weather vehicle, And the best Tow vehicle ever made! We love our Jeep Liberty and sorry they quit making the Liberty!
