Used Jeep Wrangler for sale near Barkhamsted, CT under $40,000

This was my first Jeep Wrangler purchase and it was very pleasant and my salesman Henry went above and beyond! I was astonished with how much Henry really cared about me and how much he actively assisted me with purchasing my vehicle.

Visibility and size are what I need. 4WD, clearance for snow. Rather tight interior, not suitable for more than two. Auto Park is very confusing. Not auto parallel Park. Car will stop while backing out of parking space, won't move if a somewhat complex procedure is not followed.

Worked with Steve, didn't end up buying but he was super nice and upfront with us. A much better experience than some of the dealers we talked to on this journey.

Great vehicle. mine is a soft top and the noise was expected Have to be aware of oil leak at the oil cooler. Chrysler uses a plastic material that over time will warp and not seal. The after market ones are aluminum and since you have to remove to of intake, the coils and spark plugs are accessible as well on the drivers side. Other than that it is awesome

I love my jeep Sahara I put a 2in lift in it and 20 in rims with 35 in wide tires , I took it on a 5000 mile road trip it did great on the highway and over the mountains of Colorado I hit a lot of snow and rain on the trip to the west coast and back to Oklahoma I loved the drive it does not drive like a sport car but better then my work truck does , for the whole trip I avg 20 miles to the gal even with the over size tires on it and the off road is just what you think a jeep would be , if you want a good on and off road then I say this is a good jeep for you

My Ford F150 was rear ended in a accident. I took the vehicle to Tasca for a estimate. Mike from auto body walked me through the whole process of what is needed and and gave me a accurate time frame to complete my repair. Mike worked with the insurance adjuster from the person who hit me and everything couldn't have been easier to get the repair done. I purchased a special ordered Jeep Wrangler RubiconX with the 3.6 engine from our local Dealership! When I first drove this this vehicle I knew it may be rough riding, but after having this for for over 6 months it now is our main vehicle for getting around town. I get 17.1-18.3mpg. It's a 4dr and we enjoy it every day for shopping and other chores. We had it on the main highway and do between 65 and 70mph. It handles great and the ride is actually pretty good. Has great passing power as it has 4:56 gearing! We just recently took our vehicle to Keene Dodge/Jeep to have the tires rotated and were very impressed with the service and the entire staff as they treated us very special.

Jeep passing jobs have been corroding at welds & hinges due to 2 diff. Metals built together. Issue for 15+ years!, recalled opens need to be addressed, my 3 rd wrangler and loved it! Great freedom ride, sport driven, outdoorsy attitude, love Jeep Wrangler the makers need to fix this cheap paint job causing our jeeps to rust prematurely!

Found the specific, rare car for which i was searching. It was at Blasius pre owned. I had never heard of them so I took the trip from NY to see the car. The car was as advertised and I bought the car. 3 days later I went back and took delivery. Every part of the transaction was great. Just purchased the Wrangler JL with the 2.0 turbo engine. Very comfortable car with lots of new safety features. We got the one touch slide roof. It feels like we have a convertible but we can close it in 10 seconds which is a great feature in FL with our famous pop up showers and thunderstorms.

It is a great car, my uncle drove it in the west hamptons in New York to the beach. Very fun when the roof is not there.

I love my Jeep Wrangler Freedom Edition 2door. Paint and interior looks like brand new as a 6 year old Jeep. Loaded very well including 3.73 gear ratio leather and navigation automatic hardtop granite crystal everything matching. hand washed from day 1.

Absolutely LOVE my 392 20th Yr edition!! She’s a stingray grey beast, that is just as powerful and fun to drive as my Ftype Jaguar! The detail and design is comfortable and I am addicted to the powerful exhaust rumble on her! Puts any previous year Wrangler in a different class- my opinion, after having other Rubicon’s. Well worth taking the leap and spending the +$100k on her! No regrets!

It seems that the 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK has a problem with a 3.6 l motor lifter on the left side seems to be a problem after 50,000 miles or more problems with oxygen sensorsThermostat problems seem to be something of a concern other than that it's an awesome vehicle

I just picked up my new car at CarMax of Hartford and, I have to say, this was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. I had found a Ford Explorer that I wanted to see on their lot. I put a hold on the vehicle on their website, very early in the morning. By 9am the same morning, I was contacted by Rocco Toce, the most awesome sales person around. I have bought many vehicles through the years and he is the top of the list! We went to look at the truck and he had it clean and ready for us to test drive. We loved the truck but it just didn’t have all the options that we were looking for. I found the exact Explorer we wanted in New York and Rocco jumped right in to help us transfer the vehicle to Hartford. I have to admit, it IS a leap of faith to pay the transfer fee upfront before even seeing the vehicle in person. Rocco jumped in and took over. He spoke to the other CarMax and had them check every part of the vehicle out. I felt very comfortable after he called and told me the truck sounds good. My Explorer made it to Hartford very quickly and Rocco immediately checked it out and let us know it was perfect! I went to see it yesterday. It was beautiful and in the best shape. Rocco took us through the entire car and never rushed us through anything. He sent our Explorer to detailing while my 2009 Silverado was appraised. I received a fair price for my trade and the deal was smooth and handled professionally by the staff. I’m pretty sure I have not had a better car buying experience. Rocco and the team at Hartford CarMax could not have done more to make our experience the best. I did a ton of research about CarMax like I’m sure everyone does. I drove over an hour to work with them and I am so glad I did. We walked out of there with a great, shiny Ford Explorer and the greatest car buying experience!

I am new to Wrangler and have not had it long enough to speak to the overall reliability. However, it has been every bit of what I had expected. I am glad I got the JL as it has many preferred features over the JK. I am keeping mine stock but a buyer can do anything they like to modify their Jeep. It is a true do what you like vehicle, very versatile. Enjoy.

2024 refresh Willy’s edition 2 door soft top , love the refresh, most notably the radio 12.3” upgrade, I’ve owned 5 wranglers in the past starting with the 1988 model , prior to the 2024 I had a 2 door 2011 . Well built , great driving on an off road , amazed at the little turbo motor, smooth, great acceleration and gas mileage, around 20/21 in winter and 23/24 in summer , which I think is great considering the size , shape and 33” tires etc. overall super happy with my jeep , for me the refreshed Willy’s edition is the sweet spot in the line up
