The 2012 Gran Cherokee Overland has been my car for over 12 years. I’ve enjoyed every minute of driving it. Have made several road trips with it and never a complaint. It’s plush with features and luxury items. Love the looks, love the ride, love the comfort and love the low cost of ownership. Jeep lives up to its name and fame.

Now have 110,000 miles on vehicle and had to pay out 1800 on some mechanical parts. For the most part my 2014 Jeep Patriot has been pretty good. Great in snow.

Now in my 6th year with my 2017 and still like it. My complaints are simple. Needs larger fuel tank, better gas mileage considering its size and engine, would prefer manual transmission, and get rid of the xxxx engine shut off function. Love the size, comfortable, still seems solid. My only repair was replacement of the satnav unit that crapped out.

I think that the current group of advisors is excellent, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. It is a stressful job with lots of demands but never once did i feel ignored. We should remember that a bit of politeness and good attitude goes a long way.

  I have the Trailhawk trim, the serious off-road version.  Finally, a car that I can confidently drive in and out of rough construction sites, and not be afraid that I'll break it or get it stuck.   It is possessed by a powerful spirit of wanderlust, and frequently demands that I take it on drives just to see places it hasn't yet been, preferably places that normal cars cannot go.   If Don Quixote de La Mancha lived in our time, he would surely drive a vehicle like this one; a vehicle truly fit for a modern Knight Errant.   I didn't know until a few days after I bought it, and I don't think the dealership knew either, but this one has about a 2" aftermarket lift, and slightly larger tires than stock.

Purchased new in 2015. Have only done 1 repair in 129k, which was fixing oil leak at oil filter housing. Solid car, great in rain and snow. Thoroughly enjoy this car

10 yrs 142K miles and nothing but pleasure for the money. We bought the 2.4 ltr with the six speed automatic. The two was not and option due to the CVT transmission. Nothing but normal maintenance. Great value at the time and still happy🏁

I’ve had my ‘15 latitude, for a year. T-bones a car, last week, and they crumple like a beer can… In other words: had my wife get a ‘16 75th edition TODAY!! Yes, ramen diet, for a few years, + her “special edition” doesn’t have heated seats, or a heated wheel 😖 My latitude does!! I wouldn’t look at different 💯

I never thought I'd own a Jeep in my lifetime, then five years ago I bought a used 2014 Jeep Patriot and was amazed by its fuel economy and reliability for a mid-size SUV. Then three months ago my sister needed a car, and I passed the Patriot along to her, so I began doing research to buy another used car for myself and found the 2014 Jeep Compass. Now I'm the proud owner of not one but two Jeeps! I fell in love with it because of its looks as it is "less boxy" than the Patriot and the interior is basically a replica of a car I'm already used to driving. Find it a little bit roomier than the Patriot, love the top of the gate spoiler and the headlights design as well as the focused (foglights?). I can carry a ton of stuff in the back specially since I added the retractable cargo cover for privacy and safety. I definitely recommend this crossover SUV, it delivers a ton for its value. Definitely money well invested.

The 2014 Compass fulfills its basic duty as A Car. It gets you from point A to B without putting up much trouble, at least, in my experience. Sure, the interior may be cramped, especially if you're tall, but the seats are comfortable. The performance is sluggish, the handling is not much to write home about, and the ride will make bumps feel 10x worse than they already are. But, it's still A Car. Gas mileage also fluctuates. Fuel economy, at best, is 28 mpg (on a full 13-gallon tank) and, at worst, 25 mpg, from my readings. Granted, while mine only has close to 56,000 miles on it, it will last, with no rust or paint problems whatsoever, compared to my mom's Silverado from the same year. Overall, it's one of the Jeeps ever.

I have the Limited model 4X2 which is otherwise loaded with options and bought from my brother who’s daughter had since new and currently has 119,000 miles. After detailing the vehicle which didn’t take as much time as I normally would on a 8 year old car to bring it to my cosmetic standards, I realized that this vehicle’s exterior paint quality is impressive for being Black in color as well as other styling components being well made. I admired the vehicle after I put 8 solid hours into it and said to myself “What a kick “Butt” looking Jeep” - I have the Limited model (loaded otherwise) and bought from my brother who’s daughter had since new, currently has 119,000 miles. After detailing the vehicle which didn’t take as much time as I normally would on a 8 year old car to bring it to my cosmetic standards, I realized that this vehicle’s exterior paint quality is impressive for being Black in color. Yes you need to push the gas pedal a bit more just to get it moving from a stand still in a parking lot as an example, but come on, it’s 5,000 pounds and all muscle. Fuel mileage is HORRIBLE and worse then my 2015 E Class Mercedes V6 which shocked me. When I first took it out on the road, I could immediately feel the the solid all around quality of the suspension. I really like the thick leather wrapped steering wheel. The “Infinity” entertainment system along with the Touch Screen is an all around great system and very responsive with no lag when using the touch screen. The sound quality is incredible and the factory Sub Wofer mounted in the rear gives you the sense of being in a dance club. I do my own general maintenance and this Jeep is real easy to work on. I’ve read that the Transmission can go out around 100,000 miles but my brother has done regular service 2X previously and I just did it when I took possession at 119,000 miles. The leather seats are poor quality but I use Maguire's products to keep the seat surfaces from abnormal cracking and so far they are holding up. The dash has a small screen to scroll through different parts of the vehicle’s status like tire pressure on all wheels, etc.. The designers/engineers spent a lot of time on building a solid vehicle. It’s not a Toyota and you have to expect a higher repair rate, but if you keep on top of important general & regular maintenance, you will have a higher rate of reliability. There's nothing like a 2 door Jeep Wrangler when it comes to climbing rocks, crawling through mud, and making those tight turns. My other jeep was a soft top which can be noisy on the highway, but this hard top is quiet. I also love that roll cage/soundbar. I can still take the roof and doors off, put it in 4WD and have a blast.

Overall very capable vehicle. 3.2L with 4wd/factory trailer tow. Silly things show up like the service 4wd light that comes/goes and radio/controller that resets after replacement. Solid car with a good pedigree.
