The 2012 Gran Cherokee Overland has been my car for over 12 years. I’ve enjoyed every minute of driving it. Have made several road trips with it and never a complaint. It’s plush with features and luxury items. Love the looks, love the ride, love the comfort and love the low cost of ownership. Jeep lives up to its name and fame.

Let me start by saying this, there are some real GEMS in palisades Mazda. I purchased My vehicle back in November, I did Everything virtually and had the pleasure of working with Nick & JamieLee.. their customer service combined is enough to make you want to come here. I had An issue with my vehicles sensor and came in for service, just to find out JamieLee had transferred into service and I had The pleasure of being assisted by her again! As a first-time car owner in my 30’s Andre and Dominic made the experience pleasurable and headache free. I spent months doing my research online and going in-person to different dealerships to compare prices and conditions of cars that were used, new and leased and Duran Auto by far exceeded my expectations. The men were patient, thorough, and transparent. I was able to test drive the car same day – no appointment needed. Dominic provided the CarFax without me having to ask and told me about the recalls (they resolved them) before I even read through them. They held the car for me while I went through the insurance process which took a little longer than expected. Dominic checked in through text but at no point did I feel pressured. They also handled the DMV portion of license and registration so when I went to finalize paperwork and payment, I was able to leave with my car, set & ready to go with no extra steps. The process was fast and painless. They also provided me with a warranty that you can choose to extend later down the line for an additional reasonable cost. I will likely choose to extend my warranty, as my father has been going to Andre for work on his car for years and he is always transparent and reasonable in pricing. My father has also purchased one of his used vehicles from Andre; after seeing how well it has lasted for him, I knew when we saw this car that it was the right fit for me. Car was perfect and price was under budget for what I was looking for love the feel of the ride and the seats are very comfortable for a woman, my husband is a big guy and he does not fit too good.

I've had this car for 12 years. It still only has 64k miles. Think little old lady. One expensive repair in all that time is pretty good for as old as it is. The sensor lights stay on all the time, but the car sill runs like a top. I would buy another Jeep if they still made them to look like a Jeep again.

I am a senior who finally had to trade my sportier Chrysler product for something more accessible. The only suitable car the dealer had available was the Compass. Mine is the High Altitude model with the 2.4L engine and the 6 speed auto. I expected a little better performance from it, but it is acceptable, Even with the 6 speed trans it is sluggish, but the auto-stick feature ameliorates this somewhat if you choose to manually shift it. It still isn't a race car but it will give acceptable take off without waiting all day to get to the next traffic light. The ride is comfortable, and handling is tame. As noted this is not a sports car but it is a good daily driver. Interior appointments are well thought out with lots of available storage space. My biggest disappointment is the instrument cluster. It looks like it came out of an early 70's car, except that the speedo and tach have terribly small numbering. I expect I will rely more on my GPS for speed indication. I was really disappointed with the lack of a trip computer, and tire pressure sensors. These have been mostly standard in Chrysler products for over a decade! Front passenger comfort is good with plenty of leg and headroom, with well cushioned , nicely trimmed (and heated!) seats with a powered driver's seat. The center console is two compartmented with a deep bucket, and a handy document compartment in the lid. The console space is necessary, with the glove box basically sized for a pair of gloves, and maybe a pair of glasses. There are also fairly spacious door pockets, and a dash tray. Another disappointment was the lack of a USB charging station, and only one 12 volt outlet. There is a 150 watt, 120 volt AC outlet, perhaps to plug in a USB charger? While rear storage is not on par with other vehicles in its class, it is certainly adequate for my needs, Especially if the rear seats are folded down, and I often carry quite a load of sporting and outdoor equipment, as well as a walker. The entertaiment center has good sound, with AM, FM, CD and Satellite, as well as an aux jack for external devices, and I love the Uconnect which feeds my phone through the sound sound system. I have not commented on the rear seats because I haven't used them, and likely will not, nor do I often have passengers, I will most likely keep the rear seats folded down. In spite of my disappointments, I have to rate this car with 4 Stars. It will more than adequately meet my needs, if not all of my expectations. The Compass was the least expensive SUV in its class in 2016, so who would expect it to have all of the features of its more expensive brethren, or even stable mates? At this point, I am satisfied with my purchase. No it is not best in its class, but it is a nice, comfortable, even attractive daily driver!

Now in my 6th year with my 2017 and still like it. My complaints are simple. Needs larger fuel tank, better gas mileage considering its size and engine, would prefer manual transmission, and get rid of the xxxx engine shut off function. Love the size, comfortable, still seems solid. My only repair was replacement of the satnav unit that crapped out.

Yes, ramen diet, for a few years, + her “special edition” doesn’t have heated seats, or a heated wheel 😖 My latitude does!! I wouldn’t look at different 💯
