We purchased our 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland new and after 11 years and almost 150,000 miles it easily the BEST vehicle we have ever owned. It is comfortable, delivers reasonable mileage, is quiet, well built, incredibly durable and looks as good today as the day we took delivery.

I am a senior who finally had to trade my sportier Chrysler product for something more accessible. The only suitable car the dealer had available was the Compass. Mine is the High Altitude model with the 2.4L engine and the 6 speed auto. I expected a little better performance from it, but it is acceptable, Even with the 6 speed trans it is sluggish, but the auto-stick feature ameliorates this somewhat if you choose to manually shift it. It still isn't a race car but it will give acceptable take off without waiting all day to get to the next traffic light. The ride is comfortable, and handling is tame. As noted this is not a sports car but it is a good daily driver. Interior appointments are well thought out with lots of available storage space. My biggest disappointment is the instrument cluster. It looks like it came out of an early 70's car, except that the speedo and tach have terribly small numbering. I expect I will rely more on my GPS for speed indication. I was really disappointed with the lack of a trip computer, and tire pressure sensors. These have been mostly standard in Chrysler products for over a decade! Front passenger comfort is good with plenty of leg and headroom, with well cushioned , nicely trimmed (and heated!) seats with a powered driver's seat. The center console is two compartmented with a deep bucket, and a handy document compartment in the lid. The console space is necessary, with the glove box basically sized for a pair of gloves, and maybe a pair of glasses. There are also fairly spacious door pockets, and a dash tray. Another disappointment was the lack of a USB charging station, and only one 12 volt outlet. There is a 150 watt, 120 volt AC outlet, perhaps to plug in a USB charger? While rear storage is not on par with other vehicles in its class, it is certainly adequate for my needs, Especially if the rear seats are folded down, and I often carry quite a load of sporting and outdoor equipment, as well as a walker. The entertaiment center has good sound, with AM, FM, CD and Satellite, as well as an aux jack for external devices, and I love the Uconnect which feeds my phone through the sound sound system. I have not commented on the rear seats because I haven't used them, and likely will not, nor do I often have passengers, I will most likely keep the rear seats folded down. In spite of my disappointments, I have to rate this car with 4 Stars. It will more than adequately meet my needs, if not all of my expectations. The Compass was the least expensive SUV in its class in 2016, so who would expect it to have all of the features of its more expensive brethren, or even stable mates? At this point, I am satisfied with my purchase. No it is not best in its class, but it is a nice, comfortable, even attractive daily driver!

  I have the Trailhawk trim, the serious off-road version.  Finally, a car that I can confidently drive in and out of rough construction sites, and not be afraid that I'll break it or get it stuck.   It is possessed by a powerful spirit of wanderlust, and frequently demands that I take it on drives just to see places it hasn't yet been, preferably places that normal cars cannot go.   If Don Quixote de La Mancha lived in our time, he would surely drive a vehicle like this one; a vehicle truly fit for a modern Knight Errant.   I didn't know until a few days after I bought it, and I don't think the dealership knew either, but this one has about a 2" aftermarket lift, and slightly larger tires than stock.

So far I can’t complain about my car definitely an upgrade from my Acura, enough leg room to be comfortable and the kids fit perfectly without being on each other’s throat on who’s squishing who. I purchased the Compass Latitude and would not look back at another small car.

Now have 110,000 miles on vehicle and had to pay out 1800 on some mechanical parts. For the most part my 2014 Jeep Patriot has been pretty good. Great in snow.

I was shopping for a very specific Corvette convertible and found a 2006 available at South Street Autos. Since I am from central New Jersey and was facing a 3 hour 25 minute drive to Maryland(according to Mapquest), each way, I called hoping to get some information about the car that was not listed on the website. Wayne was extremely helpful and courteous on the phone, answering all my questions. Most cars look great on the internet and then you get there and it's not what you expected or hoped for. Wayne and John were totally upfront and honest about the car. They were very understanding of how far away I was and were kind enough to pre-negotiate the price on the phone (most dealers would not do this) and provide me with an "out the door" price so that all I had to do was make the drive there and hope it was everything they said it was. Well, I made the trip and it was as beautiful in person as it looked online and was EXACTLY as they had described it. Because we worked out a price that was fair to everyone and the car was what I was "sold" on the phone, I bought the car on the spot and am thrilled with my purchase and the quality of the car. The 2012 Gran Cherokee Overland has been my car for over 12 years. I’ve enjoyed every minute of driving it. Have made several road trips with it and never a complaint. Been a jeep guy for 35years. 2 Cherokees always wanted a wrangler bought a 02 sahara in good condition 193000. It's a 4.0 5spd enough said. No leaks body in great shape,paid 8200.00. After rebuilding the frame that broke due to knuckle head engineers who put drain holes on the side of the frame instead of on the bottom the frame rusted out. 5000 both sides & front anyway after all that I upgraded almost everything on my beloved jeep , new power strip bosch platinum plugs kn filters bilstein 5100 shocks magnaflow exhaust system revolver style rims good year wrangler tires front grill protector tail light guards plus a power chip so from my point of view I have a classic tj better than new these classic TJ s are fun to drive my jeep goes topless 6 mos a year. My advice is to inspect the frame!!!. I didn't know to look, but it all worked out I wouldn't trade my jeep for a Lamborghini, there's only one, to top it off I added a US Navy Anchor ⚓ tire cover to show my pride of my service to my country as both of my sons have and are serving I'll keep this jeep until it's over the engine will outlast me!!! Jeep should've kept the 4.0 5spd the 3.6 is a great engine too
