Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. This is the second Soul I've owned. The first one was a 2022 LX model and had some problems with the idle stop/start feature. It took 5 trips to the dealer before the issue was resolved. The 2024 LX model I recently purchased is roomy and has a number of standard features that are extra-cost on most other vehicles. The engine provides a lot of pep considering it's only 2.0 liter and non-turbo. The ride is a bit rough--not sure if that's inherent with the car or due to the lousy roads where I live. At any rate, I'm a very satisfied customer!

This is the second sol I have owned and I couldn't be happier. Although both were bought in Tucson Arizona the dealership in Lawrence Kansas has been great. I haven't been notified of a recall on my car I am concerned about the anti theft device I have been hearing about and the oil ring problem in some of the 2020 sols. Just a little worried my car may have this problem. Any info would be great.

On the 2020 recall, dealer fixed it with no problem, offered a loaner car for the duration. Very good gas mileage. Also, dealer will now install anti-theft system, all with NO CHARGE.

Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

The Kia Soul is great for commuting and getting around town. It gets very good mileage and has everything I need to get comfortably from point A to point B. It's not a "Grand Tourer." It won't set your heart aflutter as your roar down the interstate. But it's comfortable to drive, the styling is good (I kind of like the older model years slightly better), and the features are well thought out and valuable. I REALLY like the Kia Soul! The one I won now is my second one, and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with another some day.

In 4 years only one problem, horn failed 3 times. Last time I had it mounted differently and never failed again. This was covered by warranty

I have a 2010, 2011, 2021 Kia Soul. I think that says enough. Having a car last with minor repairs and 400,000 miles. Says something for the Kia.

I love this Kia Soul. It is my first vehicle to give me better vision from being higher up. I love that. The vehicle rides smoothly and is a joy. My Soul is a metallic gray. I love the brake lights! The bright red lights look awesome against my gray vehicle. All in all, since I leased this car, I will lease another one when I turn this one in.

I've now had my 2020 Soul for almost 3 years. Keep in mind I have the manual 6 speed not an automatic and was the base model. First gear is VERY low compared to any other 4 cylinder engine manual I've had so it can be a little jerky until you figure it out. I've gotten as much as 45mpg on the highway by not driving 70 mph. It can hold its own on the highway amd not burn gas like other models. Although not listed in the US it does have the capability to pull small trailers if you purchase an aftermarket hitch and wiring kit. The trunk space although appears small from the outside is actually quite deep. I do craft shows and people can't believe how much I am able to keep on there when I fold the seats down especially. At 6'4" with the seat lift as high as it will go I still have about 5 inches above my head. That was one of the key benefits that sold me. Even with my seat back people behind me still have room vs the compact cars in the same price point. I'm concerned with the recall notices I have received however, knock on wood they have not included my car yet or unaware if my Vin is included so to keep an eye out for issues. I live Android Auto however, you can not use a cheap USB cable from 5 below. I had to purchase one from best buy. It didn't need to be top of the line, the generic brand worked but they're just built better apparently. The tires that come with the vehicle are cheap. They will get you to 30k miles however, mine were cracked between each tread after maybe a year. It looked like a dryrot crack yet my vehicle doesn't sit around. This model can take traditional oil, blend or full synthetic which is nice. Overall I do love my little car especially as gas prices have increased. It allows me to do everything I want without the extra expense of purchasing a small SUV nor the gas of a small SUV and I'd consider purchasing another one down the line.

Sebastian was amazing and so friendly to talk to, we visited a few other dealerships and came across this one , we met a few nice people while there but me and my husband wanted to see the whole lot ourselves , I guess you can say old fashion since we can look online to look into the vehicle instead. While looking at the pre-owned vehicle we came across Sebastian, he was so nice and welcoming and it being it 1st time buying a vehicle we looked into what we were looking for and he gave us some advice into what to look out for as well as what vehicles are long lasting and showed us our options. My husband was very happy with his honestly as well as his tending to us especially with my daughter with his help we were able to find a great family car that meet all go our needs with more additional features and our price range. My husband and I couldn’t be ever more happier with our new vehicle.

I've only had my Soul for three weeks, but I love it already. It's smooth and quiet and I didn't put gas in for two weeks. A terrific warranty comes with a Kia car. I do wish it had a CD player because I love audiobooks, but that's my only - if silly - complaint. It's a terrific little car.
