I can’t say enough good things about this car!I bought it in 2020 with 45k miles and it was used for two and a half years to get me to school in another town 45-70 miles away, and it kept me safe and performed as good as I could ever ask for. The safety features are the cherry on top and saved me multiple times when merging into other lanes. It has all the bells and whistles- under glow lights, led lights in the front row, Bluetooth connection, and so much more. The car is spacious and has allowed me to drive with multiple people In the car comfortably. The back trunk contains so much space even with the third row seats up. The only issue I have ever had with this vehicle is around 100k miles, the gear shift locked. However, this never affected me and this is something that never needs to be fixed if it doesn’t drive you crazy, and the solution of depressing the gear lock to unlock it while you drive is a simple fix. Overall, this car has been very reliable even at over 110k miles and gives a luxury feel in an affordable vehicle. My favorite car. STOP THE KIA SLANDER!!

This Review is on service advisor Joe who I can categorize without any hesitation as being the absolute professional best I have dealt with at LHM Toyota on Alameda NE Albuq, NM or any other dealer. I had an Appointment on March 12 2024 @ 1pm for an oil change with advisor named Angel. Angel was a no show at work due to being sick. An anonymous employee tried to find an advisor that wasn’t totally booked for the entire day to no avail. Mr Sanchez took over and got me written advising also that he would see me thru the entire service. What a stress reliever that was! To have someone like Mr. Sanchez to look out for customers like that has to make for a well oiled machine. Definitely a 10 Star employee and one happy customer! Our 2015 2.4L Soul has been great. My wife works a split shift, so she commutes to and from work Twice a day. So it gets a lot of highway miles. We also have gone cross country a few times. Always serviced at the dealer (which is more expensive), But it kept the warranty alive. Engine needed replaced at 95K due to oil consumption, but warranty covered it. Now at 220K AC compressor died. But that is the 1st repair we have had to do. Everything else is holding up fine.

This is the second sol I have owned and I couldn't be happier. Although both were bought in Tucson Arizona the dealership in Lawrence Kansas has been great. I haven't been notified of a recall on my car I am concerned about the anti theft device I have been hearing about and the oil ring problem in some of the 2020 sols. Just a little worried my car may have this problem. Any info would be great.

On the 2020 recall, dealer fixed it with no problem, offered a loaner car for the duration. Very good gas mileage. Also, dealer will now install anti-theft system, all with NO CHARGE.

I was looking to buy a Truck that I liked from their inventory. They were willing to help me as other dealerships that I had been in contact were giving me a difficult time because of my credit score! It was a voluntary REPO.! I was helping my cousin Marty, a Purple Heart Veteran. He had bought a car because he needed another car. To help me build my credit, I co-signed on the car. My cousin had a heart attack and passed away! I wasn't working at the time so I returned the vehicle. So Forthright was trying to sell me a car. But I was contacted by another dealership and purchased a vehicle from them. So even though I didn't buy from forthright, I thank them because they were giving me a second chance to buy! In the future, I will try buying from Forthright.

I've now had my 2020 Soul for almost 3 years. Keep in mind I have the manual 6 speed not an automatic and was the base model. First gear is VERY low compared to any other 4 cylinder engine manual I've had so it can be a little jerky until you figure it out. I've gotten as much as 45mpg on the highway by not driving 70 mph. It can hold its own on the highway amd not burn gas like other models. Although not listed in the US it does have the capability to pull small trailers if you purchase an aftermarket hitch and wiring kit. The trunk space although appears small from the outside is actually quite deep. I do craft shows and people can't believe how much I am able to keep on there when I fold the seats down especially. At 6'4" with the seat lift as high as it will go I still have about 5 inches above my head. That was one of the key benefits that sold me. Even with my seat back people behind me still have room vs the compact cars in the same price point. I'm concerned with the recall notices I have received however, knock on wood they have not included my car yet or unaware if my Vin is included so to keep an eye out for issues. I live Android Auto however, you can not use a cheap USB cable from 5 below. I had to purchase one from best buy. It didn't need to be top of the line, the generic brand worked but they're just built better apparently. The tires that come with the vehicle are cheap. They will get you to 30k miles however, mine were cracked between each tread after maybe a year. It looked like a dryrot crack yet my vehicle doesn't sit around. This model can take traditional oil, blend or full synthetic which is nice. Overall I do love my little car especially as gas prices have increased. It allows me to do everything I want without the extra expense of purchasing a small SUV nor the gas of a small SUV and I'd consider purchasing another one down the line.

I am a long time owner of a Kia Forte 2019 bought it in 2018. I have almost had it for 5 years now. It has around 80,000 miles of trouble-free driving. I do the necessary maintenance that's it. The pros of this car it's easy on the eyes and easy to pay for. It didn't take me long to double my payments and pay this wonderful machine off. I also like the fact I don't have to go to the gas pumps much. I can go 435 miles on a simple tank of gas. I get about 43.5 miles a gallon highway and average around 34.5 City and mix driving. I love all of the safety features I have lane keep assist frontal crash anti-lock braking and traction control. I even have done some pretty good snow driving with all season radials Continental. It also has a neat feature where it will drive by itself for about a minute. I have the XLS model. So yes I have the Ivt transmission it has worked very well. I don't understand why everybody was so insecure about this Ivt drivetrain it is ran on a chain not a belt. I have nothing but great things to say about Kia engineering. I don't know why but for some reason the 2019 Kia Forte does not have many of the problems associated in the news. I also have the new anti-theft that Kia Motors placed at no charge to me. I think the days are gone when you can complain about Kia recalls. I think we've seen in the news even Honda, Toyota and Nissan have all had recalls also. I feel like Kia turned a big corner in 2013 on making great automobiles. I like them because they're easy on the budget and very reliable and good on gas. I also like the fact there is a lot of room that comes with these vehicles. I also have a Kia Sorento V6 2019 that is also been a good vehicle. Like they say Kia has the power to surprise. Forget keeping up with the Jones get a car that will save you money.

Walked right in and the sales consultant Jay Walker helped me right away; he wasn't judgemental, he was fair and friendly with a great attitude and upfront not like the 75% of salesmen who work off commission, he actually cared that I was wanting to buy a car that very day and that I had needs. He even serviced me and multiple other people at once and kept the same attitude through each customer and me, treated us all equal and fairly. No fees were charged either, besides tax which was cool the price was more realistic to what the website said, unlike car companies with huge markups nowadays. We bough this car used in August from a Nissan dealer. There were some hidden problems that unfortunately the dealer did not disclose right away. Window regulator apparently are a problem with this car as well as engine burning oil prematurely. I performed a two-day cylinder soak and upgraded to a higher quality oil and the oil burning is no longer an issue. Apart from these problems, the car has been great for us. No other issues and the EX version is really loaded (it even has ventilated seats). Multimedia gets slow after being updated, be aware. But updates adds some features like, for example, lowering the fan speed when you get a call or ask to read a message. It is compatible with android auto and apple car play, not wireless but you can get one of those adapters.

I would definitely refer my friends and family to M&F Auto on Academy. No hidden agendas there, my needs were met and I felt the communication was tactful and professional therefore allowing me to feel comfortable which then enabled me to make a reasonable decision. I have owned a Kia Forte for 7 years now. My husband and I love it! We do regular oil changes and maintenance, and keep the car in the garage. At almost 60,000 miles it needed new tires and brakes, but that's not a big surprise. We LOVE the performance of this car -- the turbo function makes it fun to drive and great for passing. It's compact enough that we can park anywhere. And the hatchback is surprisingly large! We ended up selling our Toyota Camry and keeping our Kia because the Kia is a workhorse that hauled furniture and boxes for my husband's business. Way more room than the Camry when we needed to haul things or take our electric bikes on an adventure.

2017 KIA Sorento , I love my SUV! I’ve had an issues at all until 2024. I had to have an oil pan leak. Also, Rear Bearing sensor. Other than that regular stuff such as tires windshield wiper, ect The vehicle was a year old and a one person owner when I purchased it
