This is the second sol I have owned and I couldn't be happier. Although both were bought in Tucson Arizona the dealership in Lawrence Kansas has been great. I haven't been notified of a recall on my car I am concerned about the anti theft device I have been hearing about and the oil ring problem in some of the 2020 sols. Just a little worried my car may have this problem. Any info would be great.

I must be amazing. The company canceled my warranty. Because the vehicle sits in my car port for six months I didn’t follow their schedule but adapted to the use that I had. 7000 miles in 3 years. So I changed the oil at my use of car. 2 oil changes so far. Get real. I m taking good care of vehicle. And then you cancel my warranty. So I had purchased a warranty after the original 10 year was over and because I had a extra life warranty for 10 more years @ 2000$ my broken Radio was replaced at no extra charge (about $1646.09) was the repair cost. I change my own oil. I am a retired auto business owner. Luckily I bought the extension warranty. “I must be amazing!”

The Kia Soul is great for commuting and getting around town. It gets very good mileage and has everything I need to get comfortably from point A to point B. It's not a "Grand Tourer." It won't set your heart aflutter as your roar down the interstate. But it's comfortable to drive, the styling is good (I kind of like the older model years slightly better), and the features are well thought out and valuable. I REALLY like the Kia Soul! The one I won now is my second one, and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with another some day.

In 4 years only one problem, horn failed 3 times. Last time I had it mounted differently and never failed again. This was covered by warranty

My wife and I came to Honda of Sarasota to check out a new Honda Pilot SUV. We were helped by Paul DeMiere shortly after we arrived. Paul brought out the Pilot Elite for us and proceeded to explain everything about this model. He described how the doors, seating and storage worked and could be arranged. He then went through a lengthy explanation on all the controls and infotainment system. Very impressive and helpful! Everyone we met or spoke to was very friendly and helpful.

This is the second Soul I've owned. The first one was a 2022 LX model and had some problems with the idle stop/start feature. It took 5 trips to the dealer before the issue was resolved. The 2024 LX model I recently purchased is roomy and has a number of standard features that are extra-cost on most other vehicles. The engine provides a lot of pep considering it's only 2.0 liter and non-turbo. The ride is a bit rough--not sure if that's inherent with the car or due to the lousy roads where I live. At any rate, I'm a very satisfied customer!

On the 2020 recall, dealer fixed it with no problem, offered a loaner car for the duration. Very good gas mileage. Also, dealer will now install anti-theft system, all with NO CHARGE.

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

The price advertises in Cars.com was not the full price for the car. Dealership had many fees that were not advertised. Even though Cars.com stated it was a Great Deal once the dealer fees were added it was an ok deal at best. So basically the advertised price was not the real price. Deceptive price listed on Cars.com

Definitely very comfortable driving this car. Good on gas. Has a lot of great options and a lot more room inside than I thought it would have 4 adults can sit very comfortably and this car.

I purchased my 2019 Kia Soul with 52,000 miles on it in April last year. I now have 62,000 on it now. It looks good and drives great. No problems so far. Nice car.

We just purchased a new 2025 Kia Niro Hybrid, and the entire buying experience was really easy and pleasant (not what I'd normally expect when buying a car). I've now had my 2020 Soul for almost 3 years. Keep in mind I have the manual 6 speed not an automatic and was the base model. First gear is VERY low compared to any other 4 cylinder engine manual I've had so it can be a little jerky until you figure it out. I've gotten as much as 45mpg on the highway by not driving 70 mph. It can hold its own on the highway amd not burn gas like other models. Although not listed in the US it does have the capability to pull small trailers if you purchase an aftermarket hitch and wiring kit. The trunk space although appears small from the outside is actually quite deep. I do craft shows and people can't believe how much I am able to keep on there when I fold the seats down especially. At 6'4" with the seat lift as high as it will go I still have about 5 inches above my head. That was one of the key benefits that sold me. Even with my seat back people behind me still have room vs the compact cars in the same price point. I'm concerned with the recall notices I have received however, knock on wood they have not included my car yet or unaware if my Vin is included so to keep an eye out for issues. I live Android Auto however, you can not use a cheap USB cable from 5 below. I had to purchase one from best buy. It didn't need to be top of the line, the generic brand worked but they're just built better apparently. The tires that come with the vehicle are cheap. They will get you to 30k miles however, mine were cracked between each tread after maybe a year. It looked like a dryrot crack yet my vehicle doesn't sit around. This model can take traditional oil, blend or full synthetic which is nice. Overall I do love my little car especially as gas prices have increased. It allows me to do everything I want without the extra expense of purchasing a small SUV nor the gas of a small SUV and I'd consider purchasing another one down the line.
