Recently I had an issue with my vehicle that was an intermittent problem. I worked with the service Rep, Brian, to deal with the issue. Instead of just saying there was nothing wrong with it after checking the vehicle in the service dept, he suggested leaving it with them so that they could run the car and then check the problem. This service was covered under my warranty so they were not just trying to get more money from me. I really appreciated his trying to resolve the problem I was having! The funny thing is I saw the new 2022 Kia soul and decided to turn my current Kia Soul in and purchase the new model from them.

I drive the 2023 Kia Forte GT Manual, and I couldn’t recommend this car more!! The only complaint I have is now that I’m trying to find a new car with a more fancy name to impress clients, I can’t find anything I enjoy nearly as much. The car is built on a BMW M3 chassis, has the luxury features and interior to match with an average combined fuel mileage of 34mpg and the reliability of a newly redesigned Kia. It handles phenomenally well and is unmatched within its price point. It loses value quickly (until the general population realizes their tech and reliability recently surpassed Toyota and Honda) so buy a used 2023 or 2022, and you’re smooth sailing. I drove this car from Philadelphia to Los Angeles and was complimented by strangers in almost every city I stopped in along the way!

Chasetty Caez was amazing to deal with from start to finish. She answered any and all questions, even if she didn’t know, she found out. Got the vehicle we were looking for. Explained everything so we understood throughout the process, including the vehicle we purchased!! Went over everything. She’s the best!!

Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

I LOVE my 2023 KIa K5 GT-Line. I have the Passion Red, and I must say it’s a very sexy color. The panoramic sunroof is my favorite feature. The K5 rides so smooth and handles very well. If you’re considering this car…don’t hesitate any longer. GO BUY IT!!!

I had THE best experience at Carmax...the salespeople were non-pressuring, helpful and just amazing (especially Daniel!). They went out of their way to make every step comfortable and unpainful. I’m in love with this car. I love the features with my EX trim. Heated/cooled seats. Sunroof and wood grain interior. The only issue I have is I’ve never owned a car with CVT. It feels a bit odd at times compared to my previous cars. But anything is better than dealing with Ford’s DCT.

What can be a grueling ordeal was anything but! Had the best experience buying my new Challenger at Branhaven! Michael was awesome and I drove away extremely happy! Highest recommendations!!

Bought a 2023 forte gt-line for my daughter. We have had the car for 13months and have driven about 12,000 miles. I honestly cannot believe the 1star reviews, nor should you. I was a loyal Honda fanboy for over 30 years before I bought this Kia. I bought a totally loaded Forte non turbo for a hair under 25k with a crazy good warranty. Why not? I figured. 13 months and 12k miles later it rides better, has more power and is quieter than the day we bought it! Zero issues with anything. No squeaks, rattles or interior flaws. Sadly no tire wear. I cannot wait to replace the Kuhmos it came with. It handles great and is fun to drive. My wife calls it “a peppy little thing”. And she drives a CX-5 turbo or my 5.7 liter ram. Over 40 mpg on highway and mid 30s driving around town. This is a fine car. Not a cheap version Hyundai. Much nicer IMHO than the Hyundai. For those knocking the resale… run the numbers and try to buy one as cheap as you say you sold yours for. The Harmon Kardon stereo sounds awesome! This is one of my favorite purchases because its value continues to surprise me. And they give a $500.00 military discount. Don’t buy based on my opinions go test drive one! Test drives are free. Go to carvanna or get on car gurus and see how cheap you can buy one a year or two old used one for.

One experience that really stands out is when I was in an accident and had to have my car towed. It was just before the service department was closing for the weekend, and I was expecting to be without a car for quite some time. But Steve made sure my vehicle was taken in immediately, and thanks to his quick action and dedication, I was back on the road the following week. That level of commitment and care is rare — and deeply appreciated. After two decades of visits, I can confidently say that Kia of Old Saybrook’s service department, led by Steve, has earned my complete trust. I purchased my GT turbo - automatic in 2021 as 2022 model and my only regret was that didn’t wait for the cooling seats package. Great looking vehicle with above average performance and great fuel efficiency. It’s one of the best affordable sports sedans in the market and one of the few where you can actually fit a 6’ adult in the backseat. I’m looking to add another with my desired package soon.

I visited multiple different vehicle dealerships and explain to everyone that I was not immediately looking to buy a vehicle but will be in the coming weeks due to relocating to Connecticut and Kia of Old Saybrook’s Custome Advocate Anthony Russo was extremely understanding and helpful through the whole process and ultimately the reason why I chose to go with Kia. Showed me multiple different models and was not pushy or overbearing at any point during the experience. After deciding on a lease for a new Kia Niro PHEV I dealt with the service manager Alex Pashchak to get the final financing paperwork done and he was also terrific and not pushy at all, explained all the extended warranty packages to me in detail and helped set one up that would work perfect for me in the future. Anthony made sure to introduce me to the service department and set up my first appointment with them before I left (they were also terrific) Anthony also made sure he’s been available over the phone anytime. I had any questions about the vehicle and even reached out afterwards to make sure that I was happy with my purchase and if I had any more questions. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend to anybody I know looking to buy a car to go to Kia of Old Saybrook and work with Anthony. Bought my Forte Gt line at Mathews of Blakley Kia, great salesman ship, i had Dylan, he was very knowledgeable. My Forte is beautiful paid under 23000. and got a car with alot of options other dealers would have charged you for looks great and performs well, i have read other reveiws that slam the kia brand but they have come a long way

I was hesitant to purchase a car in another state but this dealership made the process seamless. the price was lower than the prices in NY and the staff were attentive, courteous and attentive. The dealership was very clean and nicely decorated. I am delighted that went through the process. I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought this vehicle in February of 2023. I have approximately 9,000 miles on it and it has performed flawlessly. It is very easy to drive and gets great gas mileage. Mine is Red (currant red) with black interior.

I am very pleased with Premier Subaru. This was my first experience with the dealership and I was not disappointed. The Sales Associate and Finance Manager I dealt with were friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Most importantly, I got the car I wanted at a fair price.

The sales staff was very good and the buying process was very good but took a long time. They gad a class for us to learn about the controls on the car and that helped a lot. We are still figuring out some of the various functions that are more detailed but very impresssed with the car.

Just picked up a 2022 KIA Forte GT Line for my wife. Car has outstanding pick up for a 147hp engine. I don't find any difference in performance in changing the various driving modes available though. The fuel economy isn't bad either. We're seeing an average of 34mpg and that is mostly highway driving. Rear leg room in the back seats is perfectly adequate for adults. We have a child's booster seat in the rear passenger side and I have plenty of leg room up front at my 5'11 height. Trunk is very spacious. I can fit two large and one smal suitcase inside it. Interior is pretty high end for a $26k car. Leather seats are well made. Layout of the dash is nice. My only complaint is something lacking on all cars made now. I miss my in-dash CD player. Sorry, I like my tunes and CD case. Overall I would recommend this car to anyone seeking something fun to drive that is both sporty and also economical at the same time. We've only had the car a couple of weeks and have gotten a number of passing positive compliments from strangers.

I only had the car 1 month but drove it to Florida (all around) and back and put on 3,500 miles. My car is a GT-Line, Wolf Grey with the Red interior, Bose speakers etc. The car is a real pleasure to drive. Very Quiet on the road, and my mileage exceeded the 37 mpg epa rating, and that’s while maintaining speeds of 80 mph with 2 people and fully loaded with luggage. Little if any wind noise. Note that at times I hit much higher speeds not knowing since it was so quiet & smooth. The engine RPM was mostly between 2 to 2.1 at 80mph. The power of the 2.5 liter is good, and slightly better than the 2019 Camry I had, which was a very good car as well. The Bose system sounded great, and all the alert sensors and some other sensors like keeping your car steering between the lines worked very well, but I preferred to turn that off most of the time. If you turn on your turning signals to changing lanes, and a car is present, not only does your side mirrors alert you, but you’ll get sound notices and the steering wheel will vibrate. Triple redundancy. The handling is very good, and secure, brakes are excellent and has a very good feel to them. A very important note is, I appreciate that the 2.5 engine has both Direct & Port Injectors on each cylinder. Port injectors will help cleaned the valves and clear any carbon build up. This is the same arrangement my Camry 2019 had which greatly reduces or eliminates carbon buildup in these Direct Inject Engines. The Nav system worked flawlessly and quickly. I also love you can remotely start your car with the key FOB (No additional charge) or with Kia Connect though Kia connect is only free the 1st 3 years. Also, happily, it doesn’t have the stop & start engine control which can cause more wear on your starter motor with little gain on MPG. The seats are very comfortable as I can attest driving 12 hours straight on my first stop. The car’s 8 spd auto shifted smoothly in all conditions. Plenty of room inside. Lot of storage in the console area for incidentals and drinks. I enjoyed the Panoramic roof. The negative was the Combine toggle Climate & Media control is a bit counter intuitive and sometimes causes more effort to control. Trunk space is good, as I had lots of luggage. The car feels solid & hopefully reliable down the line. The only other negative which is because I do my own oil changes etc, is this car takes a Cartridge oil filter (Not spin on) and takes 6.1 quarts of oil, (Not 5 qts) but I knew this well before I bought it but it’s location and design is good. So it’s not a real big deal, but this will cost a little more for oil changes. Recommended oil chg is 7,500 but I’ll be doing it every 5 to 6K for sure. BTW recommended oil is 0 -30W. Based on my limited time but very heavy usage I highly recommend this car, and I really enjoy driving it. Very sporty looking.

I have owned a Kia Forte for 7 years now. My husband and I love it! We do regular oil changes and maintenance, and keep the car in the garage. At almost 60,000 miles it needed new tires and brakes, but that's not a big surprise. We LOVE the performance of this car -- the turbo function makes it fun to drive and great for passing. It's compact enough that we can park anywhere. And the hatchback is surprisingly large! We ended up selling our Toyota Camry and keeping our Kia because the Kia is a workhorse that hauled furniture and boxes for my husband's business. Way more room than the Camry when we needed to haul things or take our electric bikes on an adventure.

I knew nothing about KIA until I bought one. I have a Kia 2023 Stinger and I love it. I traded my Alfa Romeo for it and I think it’s a better car and better looking. It will certainly be more reliable and cheaper to repair than the Alfa Romeo I had. The Alfa Romeo is a beautiful vehicle, but the Kia Stinger makes more sense long-term. Drive it in eco when you’re driving around town to run errands, but shift to speed when you’re on the highway or the interstate. it has amazing passing power when you stomp that accelerator and you pass another vehicle in seconds. Take one for a test drive I’m sure you’ll love it and this is the last year they are making them.

I bought this car used from friend they did have motor problem but they bought it new so kia replaced motor and my daughter drove it couple years then when she graduated I took Kia and bought her new car for her and grandkids and I have been happy with it. It's my everyday car because it gets great MPG. It's got 160k miles about 50K on new motor. So far no issues just keep her up to date on oil changes and stuff. It's 1st Kia I ever owned and I would definitely give them another go if time to buy another vehicle.

Love this car! Have 45,000 miles on vehicle and have only done brakes and tires… Super happy with the way it looks and responds. Most reliable car I have owned. Would happily go to another Kia after this one!
