Let me start by saying I love Land Rover products, have owned a few, and I love this car but... I've had more electronic issues with this car than all previous combined. Granted, it has a lot more technology than previous models I've owned, so there is that. Land Rover frequently sends software updates to the car that must be downloaded. It takes several attempts to ever get them to work/download properly. The last one I received I finally had to take it to the dealer to let them do it (after several weeks of trying). Additionally, the camera system had to be replaced for intermittent interruptions that progressively got worse over a few months time (car is a year old now). Big problem for this car b/c it's difficult to see out of the car and the cams are a necessity. Beyond the electronic issues, the car looks great and performs well on my ranch where I actually need a car that can get around in all weather conditions and on the inclines and rough terrain we have - plus I just enjoy driving it. Hoping they work out the electronics. I plan to keep the car for a good while.

I don't write many reviews, but my experience with this dealership has been so good I wanted to write a review. I like nice cars and have dealt with most of the high end dealerships in DFW, but since finding Tactical Fleet, they are the only place I shop. I have purchased a Rolls Royce Dawn, Bentley Bentayga, and Lamborghini Urus from them, all were perfect. Great vehicles, great sales experience.

Amazing vehicle that rides super smoothly and is solid as a rock. All the features and remote app work really well. It has a strong V6, very smooth transmission and the rear AC is cold.

So, I started my search online and although I was a bit skittish of buying a car online without seeing or driving it first, I couldn't be happier with the car, the process, and most of all the salesman, Mitchell Macaluso. The most comfortable car I have owned. I can drive for 12 hours without getting a sore posterior. It is very agricultural and noisy (as diesels can be). You love these or hate them. It's a manual transmission 5 speed with High/Low range, which can be selected while moving, if your skillful enough and can double de-clutch. The mechanics are over-engineered as you would expect for a British designed and built vehicle. It's one of the most capable off-road vehicles as factory standard with 16" wheel travel. Full-time 4WD with center diff lock, fully at the drivers control - nothing automatic about this baby! Not like those pimped up Jeeps and Toyotas!! With 45 degree entry and departure angles and 45 degree climbing ability (on a firm surface). I was going to sell it but I think I just talked myself into keeping it! Love is strong! Primary use for this car? EVERYTHING.

I lived in rural Zambia for 4 years and owned a 1995 Defender 110 TDI. Mostly drove on game paths through the bush to remote villages (we were missionaries). Always got us to our destination and home again through the most difficult terrain. Rough ride is a relative term in rural Africa. Dependability is everything there.
