We purchased a 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4 Matic that had just been received and had several inquiries already. I purchased a certified 2023 Range Rover Velar 2 years ago from a dealer with 7K miles and now have 29K miles. I have had zero issues and have been very happy with the purchase. Got the top of the line Velar SVA that was only made in 2020. Compared to other cars line the X3M, X5M, GLE63 AMG etc... there was no comparison. A supercharged V8 will be and feel faster than any of those turbo engines. The throttle response is instantaneous and the torque is crazy. You get a high quality luxorious interior with rediculous performace and air suspension. I drove the car daily and had no issues at all. The car is super reliable and got lots of compliments. The exhaust sound is unreal. It sounds like AMG upshifts but louder with a completely stock exhaust. No annoying fake pops and bangs, just a clean agressive sound. Even now in 2025 the only SUV that comes close is the Cayenne GTS which is selling for 20k more. This is the best bang for your buck if you are looking for a limited release Range Rover that looks like the new Range Rover and has the performance of the last generation SVR (legendary car).

Got 2 yr lease on Eiger Gray 2020 Velar p340 R-Dynamic S with full black package, including wheels...very pricey vehicle, with $13K+ in options...but i luuuv it...appearance and drive are stunning...that said, the "sport command" driving position is an issue, cannt get driver's seat high enough, but it goes low enough that you can't see over the dash...lol...also the B-pillar is very thick, as is the passenger seat headrest, so making left turn at T intersection is challenging...but i'm at 2 yrs now, and will probably do the lease end purchase option...also had it valued at JLR dealer yesterday and they would their purchase offer was only 63% of MSRP, with 13,500mi...LOL...and they wanted to sell me a 1-yr old Defender for 100% of MSRP...makes no financial cents (sic)...

Beautiful style. Best looking SUV out there. Back seat leg room a bit snug for such a large vehicle. Electronics buggy. Shuts down completely occasionally. Takes a few minutes with car turned off before it will reboot. Great looking interior. It drives & feels larger than it is.

I am biased so factor that in when digesting this. Last year (2019) I was driven home from our local Land Rover dealer in a new Velar (I had dropped off my daughter’s Land Rover LR2 for service). I felt like I was riding in my living room (only with a better sound system) so I decided then and there (and after studying sales literature) that I would work towards buying a new Velar (ordered with everything I wanted on it) in 2021. The pandemic made it possible for me to buy an almost new one (15,200 miles one owner) a year sooner so I did it in impulse. The one I bought may be missing an option or two (I was going to buy the top version Meridian sound system with 1725-Watts amplifier power - got the next one below with 825-Watts) but I am thrilled. It has taken a few weeks of YouTube video watching and trial to learn most of the Velar’s features. Still learning. I liken being in a well-equipped P380 (supercharged V6 with 380 horsepower) R-Dynamic SE to being in a spaceship with wheels. The Velar has these gorgeous super high definition displays down the center front and a driver display with similar visibility and nearly a thousand display options. The cockpit and interior is where I go to feel safe and glorious. The Velar couples this feeling with abilities I have never owned in a vehicle: examples: the above the Velar 360-degree “Bird’s-Eye or Hovering Drone View” of the vehicle and its near surroundings - this view of the Velar’s surroundings appears whenever the Velar senses you may be getting close to something - the Velar makes you aware of anything that gets too close anywhere; my garage floor is higher than the sloping driveway I back down so every time I put the Velar in Reverse both driver and passenger mirror automatically tilt downward as the vehicle starts tilting backwards - works flawlessly! ; the Velar tells you before you begin a trip if any passenger is not properly belted in (my daughter’s friends thought I had eyes in the back of my head or in the back seat ; one of the coolest things I have ever witnessed happened when I returned to home after dark and parked the Velar in my garage - my garage door openers have lights and they were ‘ON’ but no other lights were on. I noticed when I opened my driver door that the Velar was illuminating the garage floor near both my driver door and at the passenger side door with a gorgeous circle of light with the image of a Velar inside the circle!! I am just amazed at the thought and consideration behind designing this feature into the vehicle. You never step out anywhere into total darkness. Wow. I just love this vehicle. Some words of advice: get the P380 - but an e-vehicle if you are worried about fuel economy and/or carbon footprint or number of barrels of oil burned a year - skip the 4-banger P250 as that is a different less glorious vehicle; get the R-Dynamic as it means the vehicle rides on magnetic based suspension like most modern Corvettes and some Cadillacs. You won’t regret the benefit in ride, handling, and off road bad weather driving. Get the 825-Watt Meridian surround system minimum as it rivals the sound of my 14-channel 8000-Watt main home theater. The British remain marvels at sound reproduction in moving vehicles (note: Bose made in USA is OK but is in no league close to a well engineered and specified British design - the Meridian system in my daughter’s LR2 rivals my $20000 home system in pure enjoyment. I bought a seven year transferable bumper to bumper extended Land Rover warranty - do likewise as it is great financial security and adds value to the vehicle when sold. Dreams do come true.

To help me make the best decision, he shared five key things every buyer should look out for: 1️⃣ Check the Vehicle History – They emphasized how important it is to review a full history report to avoid hidden surprises. A clean record means fewer risks! So get your own Carfax. 2️⃣ Have the Car Inspected – They strongly recommended bringing in a trusted mechanic to inspect the car before buying. A small upfront cost can save thousands in repairs later. 3️⃣ Understand the Warranty – They made sure I knew exactly what was covered and what wasn’t so I wouldn’t be caught off guard with unexpected repair costs. Their Cars are "AS IS" so when you drive off its all on you. The 30 day return document is a formality that will not be honored. 4️⃣ Review the Financing Terms – They Explained that none of their advertised EV cars get the discount it is just a way to get people through the door but they explained my financing options, including interest rates, monthly payments, and any potential hidden fees, so there were no surprises. You will be told you can refinance your car later by their finance guy but Nas let me know chances are slim since their cars have a salvage title. 5️⃣ Take a Thorough Test Drive – Instead of a quick spin, they encouraged me to test the car under different road conditions to make sure it felt right. Additional Important Steps They Advised: 🔴 No Returns Policy – Once you sign, the car is yours. They emphasized doing all research beforehand, getting an inspection, and making sure I was 100% confident before committing. 🔴 Salvage Title Considerations – Many of their vehicles have salvage titles, which means: Insurance rates will likely be higher, and some insurance companies won’t cover salvage vehicles at all—so check before buying. Resale and trade-in value will be lower, and some dealerships won’t take salvage vehicles. Many banks won’t finance salvage titles, so you may need to pay in cash or use a lender that specializes in these purchases. 🔴 Check the Vehicle’s Value with Other Dealers – One of the best tips the manager gave me was to take the VIN numbers of the cars I was interested in and check with other dealerships to see what they would pay for it. This way, I could compare prices and see if I was actually getting a fair deal. That level of transparency really impressed me! I truly appreciated how upfront and honest they were. They didn’t pressure me into buying but instead gave me all the tools to make an informed decision. If you’re shopping at Alpha Motors, do your homework, check everything for yourself, and follow these steps to make sure you’re making the best choice!

Most beautiful SUV to date. Also one of the least reliable but manageable and not too much different than a typical European car, especially with an extended/cpo warranty. Do not expect Toyota reliability but this is also 10x more stylish. Material quality, interior and performance is also excellent. Pick your poison-reliable Toyota/Honda or a luxury car that oozes style, performance and luxury.

I’m in love 🥰 it’s so beautiful, it has so many features I love how I can set my cruise and it will slow me down and speed up with out shutting off my cruise on high way !! I love how the handles on the doors go in to lock and Back out to unlock ! it drives like a dream!! 💭 it’s got lots a space for my two kiddos a nice big trunk ! You will love it !! This car meets all my needs. Tow package satellite radio touch screen navigation back up cameras heated seats diesel which means plenty of power and quiet not that loud diesel sound.

I read the reviews, considered all the good and the bad and still took a chance. Found a local person familiar with the type of car for a PPI. They di fix the AC on their dime. The car did have a minor accident on the drivers passenger door, not reported on the Experian report. This was not a deal breaker for me. I chose to fly out of state to make sure I got the title in my hand. Everyone was pleasant to work with from the moment I contacted them. I took one star off only because I arrived around 10:30am and wasn't able to leave till 4pm. I drove the car 500+ miles home without any problems.

the Velar drives great. comfortable, quiet, easy to use features. I am experiencing an issue with the radio working for 45 minutes then gets garbled and static sounding. dealer and engineers had a problem diagnosing it as they never had this issue before. getting a new amplifier from england. hoping this works.
