I finally went against the negative reviews I had read over and over again about staying away from the RR. I wish I never read the reviews and would have bought this suv a long time ago instead of buying SUV’s I really didn’t want. This is beyond any car I have ever owned or driven. Have had them all! This tops the charts. Will never go back ! I waisted time and money wanting this RRS and kept staying away because of what I read. Pays to go with your gut and I finally did and it is the best choice I made. It is good to be cautious but I hope this helps others on making a decision or going through what I did. Suggest when buying one if going used , to get a certified. I know how costly an import can be to repair since I have had many. Hard to find them with one but worth it when you do so you can feel at ease. Just a fabulous gorgeous vehicle. Highly recommend!!

I just starting to learn and understand all the function of my new Land Range Rover HSE TD6 2017 I purchase it last month 2/18/2021

I have never bought a car online before let alone bought a car without even seeing it or driving it. I saw a Bentley Flying Spur for sale at Chicago Auto Gallery. I called and spoke to a salesperson named Steve. From the first hello on the phone until we closed the deal and the car was shipped to me Steve was fantastic. He did everything possible to ensure that I was satisfied with the car and the deal. Now here's the extra part that I was even shocked at myself. Once I got the car, I drove it and after 5 miles some of the lights came on such as check engine, ride height, traction control and ABS. I was initially immensely pissed. I called Steve and said you might want to get ahold of that driver who delivered this car and tell him to take it back. Steve suggested I take it to a certified mechanic near me and have it looked at to see what was the problem. Apparently when one light goes off, it triggers more lights to activate. I had it looked at and to fix the car right it was going to be over $3000. Steve took care of it and the dealership paid the whole bill. In my mind that was the most solid thing to do and he did it. He could have argued and tried to avoid it or said no, you bought it, you fix it. They did not do that to me. I'm in Pittsburgh and they are in Chicago. I know I had rights and could have just sent it back but I wanted that car and they fixed it for me. I appreciate everything they (Steve) did for me and I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them. Thank you again Steve and Chicago Auto Gallery.

The most comfortable car I have owned. I can drive for 12 hours without getting a sore posterior. It is very agricultural and noisy (as diesels can be). You love these or hate them. It's a manual transmission 5 speed with High/Low range, which can be selected while moving, if your skillful enough and can double de-clutch. The mechanics are over-engineered as you would expect for a British designed and built vehicle. It's one of the most capable off-road vehicles as factory standard with 16" wheel travel. Full-time 4WD with center diff lock, fully at the drivers control - nothing automatic about this baby! Not like those pimped up Jeeps and Toyotas!! With 45 degree entry and departure angles and 45 degree climbing ability (on a firm surface). I was going to sell it but I think I just talked myself into keeping it! Love is strong! Primary use for this car? EVERYTHING.

The ride is sooo smooth. Reliability for Range Rovers is a given. Have had only minor repairs done but that's to be expected for a 14yo vehicle. The Carfax was PERFECT. There's nothing about my River I don't like👍

Did business with them on and off over many years. They went from “OK” to “Excellent”. I own several luxury vehicles and dealt with many dealerships. I dread going to any dealership getting through the hole purchase spiel. But this time it was a pleasure. Purchased a new Range Rover. And they made the experience a great one. The sales lady (Viridiana) was very knowldgable and we got a fair offer on our tradein from the getgo. No games, no xx. Got the top of the line Velar SVA that was only made in 2020. Compared to other cars line the X3M, X5M, GLE63 AMG etc... there was no comparison. A supercharged V8 will be and feel faster than any of those turbo engines. The throttle response is instantaneous and the torque is crazy. You get a high quality luxorious interior with rediculous performace and air suspension. I drove the car daily and had no issues at all. The car is super reliable and got lots of compliments. The exhaust sound is unreal. It sounds like AMG upshifts but louder with a completely stock exhaust. No annoying fake pops and bangs, just a clean agressive sound. Even now in 2025 the only SUV that comes close is the Cayenne GTS which is selling for 20k more. This is the best bang for your buck if you are looking for a limited release Range Rover that looks like the new Range Rover and has the performance of the last generation SVR (legendary car).
