The vehicle handles and performs beautifully. The climate controls, adaptive cruise control and infotainment screen controls are clumsy, and divert attention away from driving safety. Sadly, this vehicle has no cooling seats. A vehicle of this caliber should automatically have heated and cooled seats. This model has no semi auto steering.

Let me start by saying I love Land Rover products, have owned a few, and I love this car but... I've had more electronic issues with this car than all previous combined. Granted, it has a lot more technology than previous models I've owned, so there is that. Land Rover frequently sends software updates to the car that must be downloaded. It takes several attempts to ever get them to work/download properly. The last one I received I finally had to take it to the dealer to let them do it (after several weeks of trying). Additionally, the camera system had to be replaced for intermittent interruptions that progressively got worse over a few months time (car is a year old now). Big problem for this car b/c it's difficult to see out of the car and the cams are a necessity. Beyond the electronic issues, the car looks great and performs well on my ranch where I actually need a car that can get around in all weather conditions and on the inclines and rough terrain we have - plus I just enjoy driving it. Hoping they work out the electronics. I plan to keep the car for a good while.

This dealership has great employees, who are very helpful, great in customer service and working with you for what suits you price wise and car wise. They really are about what your needs are and not about making a sale but finding what suits you and your budget!

Long time (Decades) Land Rover owner, driver, enthusiast, glutton for punishment... We have 3 other LR's in the family fleet as well as Toyotas and Subarus. I purchased this one CPO 2 years ago and took it on a major family road trip, spanning over 4 months and 11 states. We drove the vehicle more than 300 miles off-road, over desert sand, small rocks, big rocks, Jeep Roads, and 3 remote mountain passes over 12,000 feet. On road we drove it very high speed on lonely freeways in western states. Our LR Discovery HSE delivered flawlessly. The Windsor Leather interior is very stylish, functional and comfortable. The Disco handles like a sports car and has a very tight turning radius (can make an easy u-turn on most streets). Now it's mostly used day to day in town, hauling kids to and from school and sports and driving to work. We've taught 2 kids to drive in this car. It still looks and smells new. Everything works well and after putting many miles on the odometer it's begging for more. Regular oil changes and routine maintenance, that's it. Now we're well aware of issues with LR's and most every expensive vehicle...it seems to run with the territory. On this car my hat's off to Land Rover! This Discovery is a fantastic vehicle!! Love it so much, I decided to get a brand new Defender. After a few months the jury's still out on which is the better vehicle... I can assure you, we'll have a good time reaching that conclusion and we'll let you know when we figure it out!

Amazing vehicle that rides super smoothly and is solid as a rock. All the features and remote app work really well. It has a strong V6, very smooth transmission and the rear AC is cold.

Good car the ride is great not perfect had a few things go bad but was covered under dealer warranty its a 2016 lr4 hse..love this suv. Yes it eats lots of gas and tires. The air suspension is great...it's very fast..I love the heavy feel when u driving it..it's like a tank... just the dealership mechanics not that good and the service guy trying to sell u any service if u let them very pushy...u can get work done at other rover places. And oil changes at jiffy lube if they have the tools...just avoid the dealership unless u have to go and have any warranty that's best best way to go if not it will cost u 1 to 2 thousand every time t breaks down...

I was looking for a car similar to the one that I already had and noticed that dealership had what I was looking for!! I flew in to Chicago and John picked me up from the airport. He drove me around showing me where Michael Jordan lives along the way to the dealership. When we got to the dealership I was greeted by his son's whom work with him at the dealership. We sat down , he discussed the everything about the vehicle to me ( which he previously did over the phone) he showed me pictures of he and his kids and some of the Hot Rod's he had/ he sold ( my father and I are/ were also into Hot Rod's) We all had some laughs about his boys driving Hot Rod's to high school and what is teachers thought about it back then. I gave him the remaining balance due and I signed the papers for the vehicle. While sitting there listening to John (the owner) along with listening to his son's.. I thought, WOW... WHAT A GREAT FAMILY ....NOT TO MENTION A GREAT FAMILY BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!! Before leaving informed me that he had driven the vehicle and let me know ahead of time everything about the vehicle and basically told me that it was a solid car and that I can easily without any problems drive it back to Maryland (Germantown - which I did of course)--- without any problems-- whatsoever!!!!!!!! To conclude this review, I will say this. John and his son's offer you a phenomenal experience when you go to their dealership and here are just some of the reasons; THEY ARE HONEST, UP FRONT, NO HASSLE, CARING, FRIENDLY, TRULY WARM ..... I can really continue to on about my experience with the family here at this dealership..... above everything.... it made me TRULY FEEL THAT I HAVE A FRIEND IN CHICAGO!!!!!!! This vehicle exceeded our expectations. It has more bells and whistles than you can imagine. We constantly find new features and refer to the owners manual often. You definitely need a pre-flight check with the dealer to understand all you are gaining with this vehicle. Safety and convenience are top notch. We love how the side mirrors position down, when backing up and return to normal on their own. The parking and blind spot monitoring systems are a plus. This car rides like a dream on long trips. We used to feel worn out after a long day on the road, not with this Rover, you actually enjoy the drive and your time on the road. Thanks to it's air suspension, you will find it comfortable to both enter and exit this SUV. Wish we would have bought one of these years ago.
