I was driving by and saw a car that caught my eye. My problem was I had very little credit, having bought my previous used cars with cash. I picked both Matt and Jeff's brains as to how the whole process works, how certain things affect interest rates and odds of getting an auto loan. They spent a lot of time answering all my questions. As to the vehicle, I purchased a 2007 Acura TL Type S that was priced $2500 below NADA retail value (23% below value). I usually love the haggling process, but with a car priced almost a quarter below NADA retail value, I didn't even bother haggling. The price was MORE than fair and the car was in pristine condition. The buying process was EASY considering I'm self-employed and my taxes don't quite show all of my income, if you know what I mean. So it was a challenge for Matt to get me approved. He worked on it for an entire day, calling me to ask me for bank statements, tax returns, etc. He went to bat for me and was able to get me approved with a local credit union instead of some high interest, high risk lender. The interest rate he was able to get me was also pretty fair. Of course it's not 1.99%, but it wasn't 24% either. In fact, it was a lot closer to 1.99% than it was 24%. This was my first time dealing with them. In fact, I had never even heard of them. It was merely by chance that I was driving by and saw the car I wanted on their lot. But I would recommend them to anyone. They were personable, they were honest with me about my situation, but most of all I felt like they really cared and they really went to bat for me. Never did I feel like they were "sleazy used car salespeople" like I've felt at other lots. It felt like I was working with a friend or a neighbor.

I had mine for a long time, bought used as my first car, survived getting hit on the rear end, was simple enough for me and my dad to repair the few problems that popped up (at 164,000 miles) and kept going strong for me for 7 years until another accident got her totaled. I was perfectly safe from the accident, and the years I was driving it, it preformed fantastically. I see a lot of people complain about how it drives, and I will admit at first it was weird, but it really just takes you learning it. The shifts aren't random they're at specific speeds, and frankly if the shifting creates a problem you're either driving poorly or you have a mechanical problem. As long as you slowly go on the gas instead of suddenly slamming the pedal down the shifting is graceful. The issue I see some people mention about it feeling bad to control at highway speeds, I have not encountered. I drove 70mph highways 5+ times a week for years and never had a problem, did 85mph highways sometimes and still no problems. It has way enough room, I regularly had a 6'4" guy in the passenger and he was fine, I've had an almost 7 foot guy in the passenger and he admitted he was more comfortable in the Smart than any SUVs or Sedans he had been in. I'm a pretty small person so of course it's perfect for me, the turn radius and being able to park in essentially any space I want is amazing, the back actually has a lot of room and if you don't have a passenger you can extend it even more- I helped someone move with my Smart and while we didn't try furniture since we had a truck for that, it took 2 extra large boxes, a slew of plants, like 6 smaller boxes to fill gaps, 4 bags of vacuum packed linens, plus a decent amount of loose articles and knickknacks settled around, and it technically could have still held more. Absolutely fantastic car.

I had no idea how stressful moving could be until I attempted it on my own. Thankfully, these movers saved the day. This car is a SLEEPER, despite the seemingly “Low” 150 horsepower, this car takes off like a rocket from a stand-still, it accelerates briefly quick. Bought this car at around 120k miles. All the stories and rumors you’ve heard about German cars or volkswagen being unreliable, this car certainly proved me wrong and brought me comfort. Even though it is not MY car, my brother owns the 07 6 speed automatic (with tiptronic transmission) and it is quite amazing. The throttle response is unbelievable in the tiptronic mode (+ and -). Although if you’re worried about not shifting at the right time, it will automatically upshift/downshift for you, the computer overrides as a safety feature. I will be honest, i drive my brother’s rabbit A LOT, and the sports mode is pretty DECENT at high speeds, there’s no major improvement besides higher RPM so it will shift later (brings more power out of each gear before automatically going into the next one) . It just makes the engine roar but everyone’s experience is different! Just sharing mine. The handling is an absolute 10/10 and when given enough gas from a stand still, the wheels will spin a little bit even with traction control on. Another Pro that i think people overlook but is very important, One day i was in a rush to get to work on time and i was going a little fast and had to (safely) cut someone off to get in the far left lane so i was going too fast considering i needed to come to a stop, i slammed on the brakes and the car DID NOT skid or lose control, the brakes surprised me and i thought i was going to crash but it stopped just in time. The braking distance is quite amazing on this car. Now this is not a CON but a little bit of a concern. Considering it only has 150hp, it is relatively QUICK, in all aspects just like its origin name ‘Rabbit’. Though i did notice it struggles A LITTLE BIT around the 80-100mph mark. So if you need to pass someone make sure you have good tires and your tires are rated for 90+ mph. AND DO NOT BE SCARED TO USE FULL THROTTLE, IT IS BETTER TO GET PULLED OVER THAN TO LOSE/TAKE A LIFE. Another really good pro, is the kick-down function, the pedal rests on the floor, so when you press it down ALL THE WAY you will feel a little click, like there’s a second step for the pedal, that’s the kick down function and when you use it for whatever reason it may be like passing someone in front of you or in an emergency. Depending on how fast you’re going (i will provide example below) it will always drop 2 gears and take off just as quick as a rabbit does. When you are in a 60mph zone and the person in front of you isn’t going fast enough for your liking or you just want to pass them, you mash the gas down all the way and you’ll maybe drop 1 gear (it will downshift into 5th gear) but if you push it all the way down to the floor you’ll feel that click and it will downshift from 6th to 4th gear and you will speed up very quickly reaching around 100mph in a matter of 5-8 seconds. It is very useful if the cars in oncoming lane is coming your way faster than you anticipated. This little car may not be fast (top speed) but it sure is QUICK. I got pulled over (just a warning) for going faster than i thought because of how quick and responsive this car is. SIDE NOTE: HEATED SEATS WITH UP TO 5 LEVELS IS AMAZING!!! it also has heated mirrors for all my people who get cold weather like ice and snow in the morning! All in all, This car is very reliable and worth purchasing. Just take care of it and i promise it will take care of you. 10/10 i recommend.

Bought it 6 months ago, put on 7500 miles, now has 159,000. Not one problem, AC gets a bit cranky when above 100 degrees. Only cost two oil changes. Itza keeper. Now looking for a convertible version. Dont be afraid of high miles on these fun cars.

Great car. It had an after market receiver that was no good. I told them it was a deal breaker and they bought a good one for it, installed it and the back up camera I bought since my baby will need it. Very nice and excellent fuel mileage.

This is the second 2009 Ford focus SE that I’ve owned. The first one had 147,000 miles on it with nothing needed but regular items. Tires, battery, regular oil changes at 5000 mile intervals and never used any oil between changes. If I kept my foot out of it, I got 38 to 41 miles mpg, if I pushed it I still got 35 at 80 mph. This one has 79,000 miles on it and I have not done anything but tires. It’s nearly as clean as off the showroom floor, as I keep my cars clean. I am very happy with this car. Depreciation is so low now, insurance is low, no payments with interest, make this an exceptionally cheap car to own. Reability has been second to none for me. Highly recommended but very hard to find a nice one with a regular maintenance performed and no rust. You can’t go wrong with the value of this car, great commuter car or for a new teenage driver. It’s rated safe. It’s also very comfortable to drive for a whole day.

This car drives so smooth. The engine is so quiet it doesn't sound like the car is even running. The heated seats are perfect for this time of year.

This car met every need of mine except for the obvious bad gas mileage at about 19 mpg on average. I added third party auto start and Bluetooth for music and calling and it literally is amazing

Bought my used Marquis for 800 $ , 144,000 original miles. Its exceeded my expectations, very easy to work on . Would recommend for long trips. The previous owner had another car and wasn't using my car at all. He basically left it sitting for what seems an eternity. I thought it would need a few things before I drove away , surprisingly not I drove it home the same day . The only thing that bothered me was the leather seats , I switched them out for cloth seats and it feels much better. It does waste a good bit of gas but I'd say its worth it . Ps. Paying homage to one of the last rear wheel drive v8 sedans 👍

This car is in very good condition even though it's 13 years old. We just got it in our possession yesterday since it still needed detailed but it is a great little car so far.

Power steering recall warranty life. But tge dealer will fine something else wrong with it. To make you pay $$ instead of using the warranty free. Transaction module faulty. So you have to fix that so the power steering won't work. That should of been on recall too. I have an 2008 hhr chevy.

I have owned 3 PT Cruisers with great reliability and very little maintenance other than oil changes, etc. I took care of them and they met all my needs. I plan to buy again in near future as a second car.

I have a 2006 Eclipse GT and love it, but it's near the end of its life so I wanted another. I got this 2009 with 80,000 miles. Fantastic car, great acceleration. Supposedly it was "Certified", but in my test drive I noticed the A/C light wouldn't stay on. I asked the dealer to fix it. He said A/C worked, but light did not. That's wrong. Module was bad. Worse, Mitsubishi discontinued and offered no solution, so I had to get one from a junk yard. Also, Right Rear Strut was improperly installed (dealer's fault, not car), and after a few months the left rear strut was also bad. Not the worst thing that can happen, but it's loud when I hit bumps. Anyway, the exterior design is dated, but the 3.8L engine is still terrific (accelerates very well off the light, even though this car weight 2 tons). That's the primary reason I bought a second one. They discontinued the GT about 10 years ago, but you can get them dirt cheap, however do NOT buy one of the ones with the smaller engines, they have no acceleration and there is no reason to get one. Oh, another thing. My 2006 is orange. Great color, but notorious for having the clear coat peel and bubble (skin disease). It costs over $5k to get it repainted with the same dealer color, and $2,500 to get it painted a stock color, so beware of the orange Eclipses.

I have now on this 2002 GMC Envoy XL for over two years. I bought the SUV with over 220,000 miles and We have put approximately 40,000 miles on this vehicle and other than normal maintenance issues I haven't had to replace anything. It has been a good SUV for a family getting at least another year out of it.

I bought an LT model new in 2013 and have driven it daily ever since. I have not had a single problem of any sort.....no repairs, service, etc. other than oil changes at the proper intervals. The interior has held up beautifully, and the exterior paint has coped quite well with being parked outside in the hot desert sun. The gas mileage is around 16 to 17 MPG, which is rather low, but it is a large vehicle. Acceleration is excellent, but there is a lag before the transmission downshifts for passing. Overall, it is one of the nicest, quietest vehicles I have ever owned.

I've known the 2013 Ford Fiesta SE for the last 10 years, got it new back in 2013, it's at 168,300+ miles at the moment. Not fancy by any means, but the seating isn't bad if you're under 6 feet tall, for example I'm 5'5" and I have decent leg room and headroom, no one else but the driver gets an armrest, for entertainment it has Bluetooth and the speakers are nice, it gets the job done of going from A to B safely without costing an arm and a leg. Small eco cars of course may not favor well in accidents but that's countered by the cheap value, which is great for safe drivers who may not have deep pockets. 35MPG with 12 gallon tank gets you roughly 400 miles full at the 15K price range these days while being fairly reliable, can't really be beat. Only thing I've had to do is change out an electrical board piece, the caliper belt, brakes, battery and the tires, but that's just what it takes to keep a vehicle going long term. One thing I have noticed though is that the transmission has a tough time changing gears when you're at a stop and trying to accelerate out of the first gear, but after that it's smooth sailing. It's been doing that no worse or better for at least a year now, just a quirk at this point. Don't wanna waste any big money on a big part like that if it only happens in low speed conditions where it's safe to be quirky.
