We bought a 2008 Mazda 3 Touring hatchback new. We have driven it for over 15 years / 150,000 miles and have never had anything major break on this car. We change the oil about every 5,000 miles and had to do some work on the C/V joints at about 100K miles. We didn't even need a new clutch until 140K miles. This car handles great, has plenty of acceleration with the 5 speed manual and gets great gas mileage.

I have a 2005 Grand Marquis LS, and this care is awesome! I did modify it slightly with a K&N cold air induction and custom made dual stainless steel exhaust. The car is so great for cruising because it is like sitting in your living room on the couch.

My dream car since a teenager was a grand Cherokee and when I finally got one in 2021, I’ve loved it the same ever since. They are bold in appearance and look like a strong vehicle. It has always run beautifully and I have had no issues thus far since 2021 and now it’s 2024. Very comfortable interior and attractive to the eye. Love love love my car.

I bought it used in February 2024.In the time that I have owned it I have had no issues whatsoever and it has had all the required maintenance. It currently has between 77000 and 78000 miles. I am the 3rd owner and as long as the proper maintenance is done it is a very reliable vehicle.

2nd owner car has 243k mi. on it, mostly highway. Change oil every 5k mi. no oil leaks, no major issues. I replace two sensors approx. $250 ea. time. At 100k mi. I did a tune up and transmission flush. Other than that, regular oil changes and new tires, etc. Vehicle passed emmissions and runs great. I would take it on a trip tomorrow without a problem.

I bought my 2008 Lincoln MKX new and in June 2022, I’m still driving it. This is, hands down, the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I can’t imagine buying a new car right now. I’ve never kept a car for 13 years. Leather interior is still in top shape, minimal wear. I believe we’ve spent only around $1,500 in mechanical repairs in the 13 years we’ve had this vehicle. All the bells & whistles are working fine. I only wish my SYNC could be upgraded to current version, but alas, not possible.

This vehicle has been awesome from the day I first started driving it. Great on gas, engine is very responsive and reliable. A/C is very cold and the starts so nicely every time. The engine has all the power you would ever need. This one is a 2.0 Turbo. I have kept this car serviced regularly and it has performed flawlessly.

In late 2015 I ordered and bought a 2016 Hyundai accent. I was looking for a car under $20,000 CAD that would suit my purposes and that would be safe enough for my teenaged kids to learn and drive. The dealer experience was not what I would call a positive one. As this is about the car I will not go into detail here. The look of the little 2016 accent hatchback is really a 8/10. Put on some cheap fun stripes and you’ll be getting second looks; 9/10 then. Other body styles for the Accent are well…meh. Now the car itself is cheap to buy, and built cheaply. There is no doubt about that. There is an awful lot of road noise, there is usually some body part rattle, the torque is laughable, but again—it is cheap. I call this a Meccano car. Why? Because replacing parts is as easy as a Meccano set. And you WILL need to learn how to do this. This car gets no respect in parking lots; it’s constantly being dinged and hit by other cars. It has low clearance; road debris doesn’t go under the car— it cracks up all the plastic bits. Oh yeah, and the four or so fibre skid plates? Two disappeared within the first six months. One ripped off in a puddle during a rainstorm. However, because there’s so much plastic, and parts are easily available due to the car’s ubiquity, it’s fairly cheap to fix. This car can be insanely efficient. If you’re hypermiling, you can achieve 5.2 L per 100 km. I drive aggressively and get 6.2 or so. In town aggressive, will get you 7.4. My battery lasted six years before replacement. No complaints there. I take care of my car. I do most regular services on time. It’s been parked outside in Canadian prairie weather it’s entire life. It starts at -35C without the block heater plugged in. It’s insanely reliable and is just now displaying the first signs of rust from our heavily salted winter roads. Speaking of which– this thing is so light that you absolutely NEED winter tires up here, even if it is a front wheel drive or isn’t the law. While I would probably never buy a car like this used with 100000 km or more, I have been pretty happy with this thing. I like it better than my past Fords, Nissan, my four Chryslers, and even my Audi (based on price vs reliability). It was a good buy. I knew I was getting a cheap, disposable car. And unless something else presents itself later as a better option-I’d be looking at replacing it with another Hyundai. 2016 Hyundai Accent Hatchback GL manual

Overall I had a great experience while purchasing my vehicle today. We purchased this early last summer just to tow a boat. Car had 225K on it. New Tires and lot of new parts (starter, alternator, battery and other parts). Yes, has a ton of miles on it but no rust at all, runs great and strong. Looks like it was very well maintained. Excellent in the snow too. Got it for a song (less then $3300.00). Had to fix a couple things, Bose amp repaired, replaced water pump. Fixed the sunroof drain issues by re-routing the drain tubes. Leak issue is now Fixed. Both power seat switches were flaky when we bought it. Took them apart, cleaned up the contacts and no problems. Very tiny slight leak in power steering. Fixed that with some stop leak made by a famous company that starts with "L". We've driven this to the UP Michigan (1200 miles round trip) last summer pulling our boat - no issues. Drove to eastern Tenn (1900 miles round trip) about a month ago. Zero issues. Have made several trips over the summer each over 600 miles or more, no issues. Very nice vehicle and nice and comfy. Definitely not great on gas. But then again, you don't buy one of these because they get great gas mileage now, do you? We now have around 230K on it and so far so good. At this point, for what I paid for it, it doesn't owe me a dime. Nice vehicle. We will keep it and just fix things as needed. Way cheaper than buying another vehicle right now. I used to work on cars way back when all you needed was a pliers and a couple of screwdrivers so I can do most repairs to save some $$$. I would purchase another one if I had to replace this one.

We bought our 2012 VW Passat brand new and now it only has 80,000 miles on it. It has only needed tires, battery, and regular maintenance. Equipped with the five-cylinder engine it could use more power but has not used a drop of oil since we have owned it.

I bought my car in 2014 with 5 miles on it. I changed the oil, had the CVT fluid changed at the intervals recommended by Nissan and I never had any problems with my car. Someone hit me and totaled my vehicle the end of September 2023. My car had 159,999 in the odometer at that time. I was trying to make it last as long as possible. I know what others say about this car but it was a great car and I’ve never had any issues or problems with it. Sad to see it gone.
