The car is a straight up BEAST!!!
I've owned a GS300, LS430 Ultra and I currently drive a 2010 IS250 and I must say that I was SUPER impressed with the car. My 430 had a little more toys but this one isn't far behind and I've always been a fan of this body style. I'm gonna go and pick up it Monday after work, I must have the car. If you want beauty, power, luxury and everything but the kitchen sink? This is your car. It has a ton of features and driving it is like riding on a cloud.

Nice Powerful Hybrid
Great vehicle with tons of power. Hard to believe it is a hybrid. Gets great gas mileage and has been trouble free. Interior is a little cramped if you are tall or large. Trunk space is limited due to the batteries located behind the rear seat. Run flat tires create a harsher ride which can be corrected with a change of tires.

The only bad thing about the hybrid is a trunk is super small but I don't think the manufacturer made the car for the sole purpose of hauling your family around.. but overall my wife and I really love the car.. the car is super responsive when you hit the gas pedal the cars vehicle maintenance isn't that bad as long as you stay up on it..

2014 Lexus GS 450h Base review
Outstanding car
Car handles beautifully - better than my old BMW 3 series. Dynamic suspension allows car to closely track sharp turns. The low-end torque provided by the 200hp electric motor provides a welcome kick when accelerating either from stop or passing. the car is quiet, refined, smooth but handles like a well designed sports sedan. Reliability is typical Lexus quality. Overall a beautiful car. I've been averaging about 35.2 mpg for all around city/highway driving.

I bought the 2013 GS 450h Fire Agate Pearl (Semi-Aniline Flaxen Leather interior) & loaded with every option, including night vision, from Longo Lexus (El Monte, CA) in August 2012. It has been a superb sports sedan -- powerful, relatively economical, comfortable, and a real pleasure to drive. Only 45,000 miles on it as of 9/15/25 and will never willingly part with it. It's an Albuquerque, New Mexico vehicle in dry air, gets regular maintenance, and has zero issues.
