Used Lexus GX 460 for sale near Chevy Chase Village, MD under $40,000

I am buying a used car after 8 years, and this was great experience. No haggle is what I care. I was not forced to buy GAP insurance or anything else. The only complaint is, the lady taking down payment at the cashier was hesitant to tell me the details of the transactions before making a payment and showing attitude, but everyone else was great. I highly recommend this carmax.

We love the truck. It drives incredibly smooth, almost too smooth to feel capable off roads.... Yet it is. Gas mileage is poor as expected. Tech is a little behind the times however I'd buy it again in a second. It is so reliable and nice to drive.

My sales man was Sam, he was respectable, honest, and overall pleasant to be around. He showed integrity, I didn't feel as if he was trying to Hagel and play trickery games in order to get a sale. Very comfortable ride and seats, reliable, and great visibility. Love the Mark Levinson sound system, it is excellent! We bought it 10 months ago with 53,000 miles on it and still looks and drives like brand new. I love how whisper quiet it is, no road noise, and there is not a squeak or rattle anywhere in the vehicle. Lexus is definitely in a class of it's own. It is so easy to keep it showroom clean, which makes it still look brand new. When seeing it, no one believes it is 9yrs old.

Love this vehicle. It is on a frame so it will not ride like a plush luxury vehicle but it rides and handles very well. Lexus detuned the motor bit. A little more power might have been nice but it not designed, nor do I want, a rocket. In fact, when I learned that Lexus was going to also retire this very reliable 8 cyclinder and offer twin turbo v-6s, we bought a second one. We get 18-22 miles per gallon from a reliable motor which will should last hundreds of thousands of dollars. This turbo stuff, just like the ev stuff represents false economies and will result in the death of such vehicles way before they need to be junked.

Part time Delaware resident but my dream car became available in Maryland. Across the state lines, Emmanuel did amazing work to make the purchase seamless! Had a hybrid RH 400 for many years, needed the extra seats and love the GX 460. Can’t complain, adult really isn’t comfortable in the 3rd row for a long distance buy other than that love it. The V8 won’t be around much longer so I’m happy I got this one. Happy happy.

I wanted to purchase a new vehicle. The vehicle I seen online I thought was a great car, Mr. Joel Lisman found me a even better car with less miles and cheaper then the car I was looking at. Once I came to pick up the vehicle I was at Carmax for less than an hour, then I was driving away in my new car. 😁

This is a very comfortable car and is great for trips. It has a tremendous amount of room for luggage. The V8 also makes it great for driving around town.

Overall experience was great, Sammy and Joel were super helpful but finance guy took so long with previous client, I almost walked away.

Had my 2016 gx for a year and a half now got it wit 50,000 miles 2 previous owners drove it across the country twice has a 113,000 miles now and hasnt given me one problem just regular service and maintenance. I highly recommend this vehicle. Switched to lexus from GM and its the best decision I ever made.

Does so many things well. Fulfills the promise that the luxury mid-size SUV always held out but rarely fully reached - family hauling (seats 5-7), cargo toting, trailer towing, highway cruising, off-roading, winter driving, luxury interior, maneuverable/garageable, and even durability/reliability (this is fundamentally a Toyota truck, and built to a higher standard than even Tacoma) all in one package. Only downsides are fuel economy and complex infotainment, but no vehicle is perfect.

If my credit was on point I would've been driving my dream car. The K900 is a sleeper for those who do not know. But they did try to help.

After 3 RX350's, wanted something bigger and heavier. The GX460 fit the bill and is a pleasure to drive. It has the right amount of technology for me. Love it!

Basically I love it because it takes the driving, so to speak,onto itself, with many warning and, well,"idiot-proodf" features. So.You gonna merge right lane?Lexus GX460 will Beep And sound, if you are in danger of a close collision. And my god,like SEVENTEEN speakers all about. Grandkids in third seating can play, be cool/warm and play their Android/iPhone apps. VERY quiet. Beautiful. I bought it believing it were leather inside(black on black),but apparently they sole me a "leatherette" seating covers. Navigation and controls are quite useful. BUT - the multitudinous(included)options require a steady and sober acquaintance with this beautiful behemoth. After 1 month, I still am learning. That is fine with me. It can be said to be a labour of love. ONE aspect is how quiet this big bugger is. Very. And it is Ready to take off at red lights (after green).Very, er, Most powerful. Truly one is surprised at the weight of the craft, HEAVY, to be able to start at stop lights and basically never experience a jolt or"bump"in when accelerating from green lights. It encases one in a most comfortable, never too hot nor cold seating arrangement. So,with THREE grandkids Plus daughter and Son-in-law, we get on most pleasurably.And don't ask me what the kids are playing on their games in the back. AND-this sort of took me aback-the pull down interior mirror includes a 180 degree"fisheye". Thus one can keep an eye on all passengers. Nest time I may be able to afford the LX biggest and premium class. But for now, we are going to ride in this baby "starcraft"for a long time.And sound? Furgeddaboutit. 17 speakers. Symphony on wheels. Oh, I had my Beamers(5), and mi Mercedes(3). Unforgettable and a dream to own. Sorry I wasted time on Beamers and Mercedes. I'm a fan now.

The most reliable and comfortable SUV in the market today. Its drives very smooth and the last SUV with a normally aspirated V8 engine that is under stressed allowing it to last 200,000 plus miles. This particular model has been built to last and designed to work for many years to come. It is functional and spacious. Everything is like new and no car issues. Everything works. Lexus delivers piece of mind and quality. Lexus simply refines their vehicles even more than their Toyota standard making them absolutely perfect. No car company has been able to beat the Japanese in reliability and design. Their products is a result of their culture. Make the very best or do not make it at all.

I am impressed with this vehicle. It is comfortable and stylish. However, I wish that Lexus had a turbo option as this V8 I find to be a little sluggish.

I read the reviews, considered all the good and the bad and still took a chance. Found a local person familiar with the type of car for a PPI. They di fix the AC on their dime. The car did have a minor accident on the drivers passenger door, not reported on the Experian report. This was not a deal breaker for me. I chose to fly out of state to make sure I got the title in my hand. Everyone was pleasant to work with from the moment I contacted them. I took one star off only because I arrived around 10:30am and wasn't able to leave till 4pm. I drove the car 500+ miles home without any problems.

Feels good in traffic and on the road! Roomy and rides well plus being comfortable! Perfect car in a winter storm. Power enough for a SUV.

Purchased new in 2015. Overhauled the brakes at 72,216 miles. Replaced the battery 2 months ago at 91,501 miles (it never failed) replaced on the advice of my Toyota service tech. Nothing else but oil/filter changes (only mobil one used in the vehicle). Now has 93,887 miles on it and it is still quiet enough to have a normal conversation going down the interstate at 70MPH. Very comfortable to drive. Have considered trading for a new one, but I think I'm going to keep it and just see how far I can go with it. Yes, I'm familiar with the Law of Diminishing returns.

I love my Lexus SUV, this car met all my needs and more, the ride is very comfortable. It’s great looking inside/out, inside is very spacious 3 rows seating for 7 people without luggage because the cargo space is very small, but that’s ok because my family size is 4. The beauty of this car is stunning, and has a body that never lose style, inside features are amazing, seats sets to your liking, and seat are super comfortable. I put over 115,000 miles. Bought new. Roomy, nice looking. Comfortable and had a great luxury ride. Plenty of room for the kids. Zero mechanical problems. Owned for 5 years...never let me down. One has to look far and wide to find a more reliable car than a Lexus.
