Used Lexus GX 460 for sale near Hickory Creek, TX under $40,000

So I pretty much been dealing with one Gentleman name Craig and have been an easy person to speak with and very knowledgeable about things I ask of him.

Had my 2016 gx for a year and a half now got it wit 50,000 miles 2 previous owners drove it across the country twice has a 113,000 miles now and hasnt given me one problem just regular service and maintenance. I highly recommend this vehicle. Switched to lexus from GM and its the best decision I ever made.

Does so many things well. Fulfills the promise that the luxury mid-size SUV always held out but rarely fully reached - family hauling (seats 5-7), cargo toting, trailer towing, highway cruising, off-roading, winter driving, luxury interior, maneuverable/garageable, and even durability/reliability (this is fundamentally a Toyota truck, and built to a higher standard than even Tacoma) all in one package. Only downsides are fuel economy and complex infotainment, but no vehicle is perfect.

Love this vehicle. It is on a frame so it will not ride like a plush luxury vehicle but it rides and handles very well. Lexus detuned the motor bit. A little more power might have been nice but it not designed, nor do I want, a rocket. In fact, when I learned that Lexus was going to also retire this very reliable 8 cyclinder and offer twin turbo v-6s, we bought a second one. We get 18-22 miles per gallon from a reliable motor which will should last hundreds of thousands of dollars. This turbo stuff, just like the ev stuff represents false economies and will result in the death of such vehicles way before they need to be junked.

Very well managed non pressure Lexus dealership that’s focused on my satisfaction first. We have been with the service department for 12 years and could not be more satisfied with experience and the loan cars!

We love the truck. It drives incredibly smooth, almost too smooth to feel capable off roads.... Yet it is. Gas mileage is poor as expected. Tech is a little behind the times however I'd buy it again in a second. It is so reliable and nice to drive.

Chris Calltharp did an excellent job finding us the perfect luxury suv, a QX 60. We visited many other dealerships to look at an explorer, pathfinder, blazer, rx350, Range Rover, Toyota and some used suvs at Carmax. Had a hybrid RH 400 for many years, needed the extra seats and love the GX 460. Can’t complain, adult really isn’t comfortable in the 3rd row for a long distance buy other than that love it. The V8 won’t be around much longer so I’m happy I got this one. Happy happy.

This car is great for family with lots of space. It handles great in snow and bad weather. It is a true 4x4 and you can feel the difference.

Fantastic SUV. Swiss Army Knife of SUVs. Snow, towing, hauling, groceries, and going to a nice dinner, this SUV does it all. Mine is 2017 Luxury with Driver Assist package fully loaded with tow package and captain's chairs. It is my 8th Lexus (my wife has her 3rd RX 350, my daughter has IS 250, and I have had an LS 460L ($104K car!) and two GX 350s, all loaded. All perfect and zero issues. I live in Ohio and I run Blizzak snow tires in winter. The traction is amazing. The sound system is better than in my LS and it is quieter than the LS. I hated my LS due to tiny trunk and is the only Lexus that did not suit my needs and taste, FWIW. I am 59 and retired aerospace engineer, and will drive my GX until it no longer runs, I no longer run, or there is no more gas to buy. I have been a Toyota/Lexus fanboy for 20+ years. The GX does everything that I want it to do and it does it very well. I enjoy it that much.

Very comfortable ride and seats, reliable, and great visibility. Love the Mark Levinson sound system, it is excellent! We bought it 10 months ago with 53,000 miles on it and still looks and drives like brand new. I love how whisper quiet it is, no road noise, and there is not a squeak or rattle anywhere in the vehicle. Lexus is definitely in a class of it's own. It is so easy to keep it showroom clean, which makes it still look brand new. When seeing it, no one believes it is 9yrs old.

I love my Lexus SUV, this car met all my needs and more, the ride is very comfortable. It’s great looking inside/out, inside is very spacious 3 rows seating for 7 people without luggage because the cargo space is very small, but that’s ok because my family size is 4. The beauty of this car is stunning, and has a body that never lose style, inside features are amazing, seats sets to your liking, and seat are super comfortable. This particular model has been built to last and designed to work for many years to come. It is functional and spacious. Everything is like new and no car issues. Everything works. Lexus delivers piece of mind and quality. Lexus simply refines their vehicles even more than their Toyota standard making them absolutely perfect. I really like this GX 460, I was considering a GX 470 instead I went with a GX 460 premium and I really like the color it not being a common color, it seems since the little I've owned it I'm always getting complements on it.
