I traded my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE450 4Matic for a brand new 2023 Lexus GX460 and could not be happier! I love how solid and substantial the GX feels and even thought it is not at quick as the MB with its turbo inline 6, I love how the V8 engine in my GX sounds and performs with its perfectly matched power train. The truck looks nice, rides nice and it a great place to spend time. I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment since these vehicles are known for their legendary reliability.

Rep was great, no hard sale, spent time with me, looking at various options. Manager was also easy to work with and make my deal happen. Made extra effort to make deal happen and drive car out that night (stayed an hour after closing!). Found a spot later on car, without hesitation, took it to shop and buffed out, they could have easily not done this. Great experience!

Fantastic SUV. Swiss Army Knife of SUVs. Snow, towing, hauling, groceries, and going to a nice dinner, this SUV does it all. Mine is 2017 Luxury with Driver Assist package fully loaded with tow package and captain's chairs. It is my 8th Lexus (my wife has her 3rd RX 350, my daughter has IS 250, and I have had an LS 460L ($104K car!) and two GX 350s, all loaded. All perfect and zero issues. I live in Ohio and I run Blizzak snow tires in winter. The traction is amazing. The sound system is better than in my LS and it is quieter than the LS. I hated my LS due to tiny trunk and is the only Lexus that did not suit my needs and taste, FWIW. I am 59 and retired aerospace engineer, and will drive my GX until it no longer runs, I no longer run, or there is no more gas to buy. I have been a Toyota/Lexus fanboy for 20+ years. The GX does everything that I want it to do and it does it very well. I enjoy it that much.

I purchased a preowned car off the internet from Martin. They were very helpful, easy to work with and honest through the process. I feel it was a fair transaction for me and for them. Overall, I love my GX. Its exterior styling is aggressive and unique. The interior is conservative, yet luxurious. I appreciate that it doesn’t have the auto start-stop feature that all the other vehicles have. I don’t miss it! The V8 is silky smooth. It is very quiet when maintaining a speed. But when accelerating, the V8 is like music to your ears. Regarding the negative traits, it is a gas guzzler (19hwy/15city). Considering it has a 4.6 liter, normallly aspirated V8, it is sluggish. It has 301 hp/329 ft-lbs of torque. The 0-60 is listed as 7.2 seconds. The throttle isn’t responsive for the first 50% of input. The second 50% of input is where you get the response. But it comes with the drama of the downshifting and V8 roar. There is no good reason why this engine and transmission can’t perform better and more linear. It has a 6 speed transmission. If it had an 8-10 speed, it would more than likely help with the performance and fuel economy. If it had a fully independent suspension it would improve the handling. The controversial rear side-hinged cargo door takes some getting used to. Why they didn’t design it with a hatch is anyone’s guess. I was aware of everything I stated and I still chose to lease it. I have no regrets. It is a good and solid SUV with an excellent reliability record. It holds its resale value. It does more things right than wrong. I recommend it.

I purchased a new 2023 GX460 two weeks ago, and it is a fabulous SUV. I did get two Key Fobs, so it depends on when you get the car. I traded a 2020 RX350, and believe it or not, the GX is super quiet, and more so than the RX350. I have the Premium Plus with Sport package, and it is super good looking, and I get compliments on it all the time. I do recommend the sport package, it has nice exterior upgrades . The Mark Levinson stereo is fabulous. The tried and true v8 with the 4 speed automatic trans is wonderful, smooth sailing. The MPG is really not far off from the RX350 with the v6. I'm average about two miles to the gallon different, around 16 in town , with 22 on the highway. Not bad for a heavy vehicle. While some reviews tend to knock the rear tail gate opening that opens to the side, I love it, and a big plus is that you can raise the back window ! Not many SUV's do that ! The GX460 is built in one of the best factories in Japan, the Tahara plant. The fit and finish is perfect. Everything lines up, the paint is beautiful ! This is one of the best cars I have ever owned, if not the best ! I highly recommend the GX460 !

Super comfortable SUV/Truck with plenty of room! Coming from leasing German SUVs previously, this Lexus is a welcomed change. Wish V8 engine wasn’t such a gas guzzler around town, but it’s a great trade off for the smooth transmission and highway ride. With limited auto stock currently available , we’re happy we bit the bullet and quickly purchased. It’s a keeper! We now understand why so many claim “Lexus for Life!”

I walked in the dealership and was immediately greeted by a salesman. I told him that I work with the father of one their managers and would like to see her. She was very busy at that moment. So I waited until she introduced me to the salesman she thought would best suit my needs. Ricky S. then went over a couple of trucks that he recommended. Went for couple test drives, probably 6-8 miles each. Both highway and residential which was good for me. I settled on the truck I was interested in and got down to business. Agreed on the right figures, filled out the credit app and gave him my title for the (undesirable) trade in I had. Even if they wouldn't take the trade in, I wasn't leaving without the new Tacoma. Ricky took me back to business offices and introduced me to Jordan who closed the deal like he does day after day. Smooth and hiccups. Afterwards Ricky took me to the truck and proceeded to sync my phone to the truck systems. We went over a few other items and we were done. Very patient with me and knew what he was doing. Lifetime dream car. Absolutely amazing, reliable luxury. Would not change for anything else. We use it for all driving needs, commute to work, road trips. Great on snow or any off road driving.

Bought a 1 owner GX460 after owning an RX350 for 14 years and 245,000 miles. I LOVED that car. The GX is perfect for my growing family and a little bigger for all of the excess a toddler has in baggage. Will always buy Lexus. Reliability beyond compare!!

I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe 2025 Hybrid. Was fast, clear and I think fair prices. I did not like the incisive offer of additional vehicle protection services. I realized later that I was sold practically two additional plans that protect the same thing.

Had my 2016 gx for a year and a half now got it wit 50,000 miles 2 previous owners drove it across the country twice has a 113,000 miles now and hasnt given me one problem just regular service and maintenance. I highly recommend this vehicle. Switched to lexus from GM and its the best decision I ever made.

Came in and they help me right away! Was a relatively quick process and they helped me with any questions. Haven’t had a service like this before. Very comfortable ride and seats, reliable, and great visibility. Love the Mark Levinson sound system, it is excellent! We bought it 10 months ago with 53,000 miles on it and still looks and drives like brand new. I love how whisper quiet it is, no road noise, and there is not a squeak or rattle anywhere in the vehicle. Lexus is definitely in a class of it's own. It is so easy to keep it showroom clean, which makes it still look brand new. When seeing it, no one believes it is 9yrs old.

I really like this GX 460, I was considering a GX 470 instead I went with a GX 460 premium and I really like the color it not being a common color, it seems since the little I've owned it I'm always getting complements on it.

Owned this car for 7 years as the 2nd owner. Almost maintenance free for all 7 years. Still works great and will last many more miles.

If your looking for reliable then this is it , but it’s the last model year before a refresh , new tech and better fuel mileage surely will come with a V 6 twin turbo in the next model . On a scale of 1-10 I give it a solid 8.5
