I've had my rx300 for 6 years.the only problem I have.it leak oil and it gets a misfire code and want shift into running gear.ive had this worked on 3 times with the same results a few months later.

Purchase used with 48,000 miles. I now have 105,000 and it has not skipped a beat. I change the oil regularly ( do it myself) as the only downside to this engine is sludge. Change the oil regularly and you are looking at 300,000 with no problem whatsoever

Bought it 3 months ago with 210000 miles. It has the wow factor. Check engine light was on, rough idle, smelled gas and wouldn't go into overdrive. Fixed issue, it had a bad oil pressure valve, cost 350 to fix. Now it's perfect, I mean perfect. Rides and drived like new. I had to replace front brake pads and roters and 2 front tires. Fixed interior with two bottom seat cover, new floor mats, steering wheel cover and arm rest covers. I love this car. I paid 1500 for car and only have 3000 in it total after repairs. Engine and trans are solid. I cannot believe how nice it is. Everything works like new. No rust. Looks fantastic. Nakamichi sound system is amazing. Incredible car. Smoothest ride I ever had. Friends can't believe my good fortune. Loaded with 6 disc changer, AWD, food racks, towing package, leather, sunroof. No leaks. Looks great inside and out. What a buy!

I bought my 1999rx300 in 2002 with 58k miles. I service it at the Toyota dealer now and there are only two things that are not working; the heater ( I live in Houston so it’s not a problem) and the passenger rear window won’t work. The car has 150k and it has never left me in trouble. I use it for hauling a trailer and road trips and very confident in its ability to deliver me safely to my destination.

She communicated and even double checked my car and found things the collision shop missed and I wasn’t even upset about it because she was honest, upfront, and got everything ordered and fixed right away! This car came out the year I was born and my mom bought it. Drove it for 12 years and then my dad took over until I got my license at 16. I drove it for 3, dad drove it for another 4 after and I just took it over again almost 24 years later. 222k miles on it and it’s still getting 25 MPG for highway miles. I was not easy on this car especially in my teenage years and it has never given any of my family a problem other than the normal wear and tear expected from a 20+ year old car. There’s a few kinks, the all door lock button stopped working about 10 years ago so it’s gotta be done manually and the windows get stuck. It’s burning oil a little faster than it used to now but I’ve got pretty a good confidence I’ll get to see it through to 300k miles.
