Great luxury SUV especially for city and short trip. ONLY ONE (1) major complaint involves Lexus GPS system being the clumsiest of any vehicle I have driven or owned. The ONE complaint. Have owned 3 Lexus' SUV's and optimistically waited for Lexus to rectify AND introduce a gps system equal to all of the other technology pluses of Lexus....but ALAS. N O T! It's a tank dressed up in Lexus clothing. If you can't there in the GX you can't get there. Absolutely sure footed in the worst of the weather. Great driver position, you can see everything. I find that there are far less drivers pulling dumb moves while driving the GX. It's so tall I suppose it's intimidating and well seen. Easy to do the underneath maintenance. 2nd row is bit tight for 4 adults on a long trip. Third row is kids only. 14-15mpg city, up to 19.5 mpg hwy.

This is my 3rd and I have to say, the best cars I ever owned. I wish I could have been able to order the base model in the new 600 but they did not want to do that at any Lexus dealership and charged $ 30,000 over sticker price. I decided, this time I just get a used one. 2017 with all the bells and whistles! Will never drive another car! I keep getting them every 5-6 years!

It’s the first Lexus rx to offer luxury and performance with almost self driving tech. Does almost everything with under 6 second acceleration and still gets 27 mpg. I love it!!
