Even after several years, it still feels luxurious and ahead of its time in terms of technology. The ride quality is smooth thanks to the adaptive damping suspension, and the interior remains impressively quiet and well-built. The leather seats are supportive and comfortable, and the cabin feels upscale all around. What I Love: Luxury Feel: The MKX feels like a true premium SUV. Smooth Ride: The suspension and quiet cabin make for a relaxing drive. Advanced Features: Still loaded with useful tech after all these years. Affordable Maintenance: Ford-sourced parts keep costs reasonable. Solid Build Quality: It’s aging very gracefully. Issues I’ve Experienced: Steering Vibration at Low Speeds: This has been present since day one. I’ve done multiple wheel alignments, but it was never resolved. I’ve just learned to live with it. EGR Valve Replacements: I’ve had to replace the EGR valve three times—definitely a recurring issue. Blower Fan Motor: I had to replace the blower fan motor, which was an unexpected but manageable repair. Fuel Consumption in City: City fuel economy is poor—definitely not ideal for short trips and stop-and-go driving. On the highway, however, it’s excellent. TPMS Sensors: Recently had to replace the tire pressure sensors, which is fairly normal at this vehicle’s age. Final Thoughts: Despite a few issues, the Lincoln MKX has been a comfortable, reliable, and luxurious family SUV. I've owned my Lincoln for almost 3 years. My Lincoln has never failed me. My Lincoln moved us from Colorado to S.Carolina pulling a 5x8 cargo trailer. My Lincoln was a champ we were dodging hurricane weather so we hit flooded areas. I would definitely tell you the Lincoln MKC is a great all around SUV.

Inherited a loaded 2017 Lincon Reserve from my uncle. 20 Inch rims, 3.0 bi-turbo, upgraded Revel sound system...the works. I own an Audi A8L which IMO sets the bar for interior design and ergonomics and this is the only area where the Lincoln trails the Audi. The options, ride and feeling of driving a luxury vehicle is comparable to the Audi as well. I some areas even superior. The Lincoln has been trouble-free for a year whereas the Audi, being overengineered, is prone to reliability issues. I love the outside doorhandles to the Lincoln and its profile but I'm still trying to love the rear end design. To me this is the shortcoming from a design perspective. Other than this, a great car!

I have bought new the Lincoln Town car every year since 2008. In 2011 Ford stopped making the car. in 2020 my wife totaled our 2011 Town Car and the car, because of its heavily constructed box frame saved my wife from injury, while the other imported car was crushed in the head on collision sending that driver to the hospital. I began an internet search and I found a 2011 Town Car replacement with 33K miles on it at a Orlando Fl dealership. I'm 85 and my wife is 83. This will be our last car ever.

I bought this 2002 in January, 2002. It has less than 70,000 miles! It has never been snowed, rained, off the road on since I have owned it. It is mint, showroom condition. It is garaged and shares it with my 2007 Ford Explorer which has less than 35000 miles. My town car has had very little maintenance issues in its 20 year history. Replaced the module on the air suspension, left door module for the rear view mirror, two tuneups and two sets of Vogue whitewall tires. Overall, my TownCar is the best of the four I have owned! Based on what I found out from Lincoln, the 2002 is the only one that has never been recalled for any issues! Of course, it is worth very little today, but I can assure anyone, I would never sell it! My dealer in Phoenix wanted me to put it on display, but I declined! Would I buy the Lincoln Continental today? No! There is a rumor that Lincoln is considering bringing back the Town Car in 2022. I saw the rendition of the vehicle and it looks similar to the Town Car with suicide rear doors, but as far as looking like a Town Car like I have, I would only say, somewhat, maybe. I will keep my Town Car for as long as it continues to serve me and it surely does. It has dual exhausts and I get 300HP as well as very good gas mileage; 18MPG to 27MPG. Not bad for a car that is almost 20 years old cost me $51,000.00, and weighs 5900GVW! A true treasure. It is the Cartier with all the bells and whistles I will ever need!

Bought a used one not a problem at all runs smooth. The interior is as comfortable as sitting on a couch. Love this car. After being 13 years old the only issue is the rocker panels are starting to rust. It spent most of it's life in NH. So being from a high salt use area, that's very good! It also holds it's value. Bonus.

Besides tires and a battery Ive only replaced the starter and the brakes. It has never failed its state mandated inspection. It’s red and still looks as beautiful as it did in 2012. Trunk is roomy and holds everything I have to haul around. I would give it ********** because 5 stars is just not enough for this car!!

comfort is king in my book and this has it,test drove several cars and this was it. more comfort in this as the seat design compared to the 2010 mkz which was great looking but more of a sport car seat very uncomfortable

I've never been a Ford product fan,but this truck has won me over. We bought ours used this year and LOVE it. I had determined that I was buying a loaded Tahoe LTZ when the wife had seen the Navi come up at a very good price. She was interested and since we had nothing to do that day, we decided to go and test drive it. That particular one was "road hard and put up wet" but, my wife noted how easy it was to get in and out of.........she suffers osteoarthritis in her knees and felt no pain getting in and out with the larger side steps. Since that was not a complaint for her, we started looking and found the one we currently own. It is quiet, roomy, nice stereo and is a very nice ride when traveling. I'm still not quite a Ford fan, but.........this has gotten me to give them a second look at least.
