I'd been looking for this car for a while and came across two at different dealerships in my area, unfortunately they sold really fast. So, I started my search online and although I was a bit skittish of buying a car online without seeing or driving it first, I couldn't be happier with the car, the process, and most of all the salesman, Mitchell Macaluso. He made the entire process so seamless and less scary. He answered all of my questions, kept me informed of the process the whole time and was very professional. Lotus legendary ride & handling in a stunning design with Toyota V6 powertrain & reliability. Rarer than anything comparable, it’s a fun & comfortable place to be with every drive an occasion. Steering feedback is unlike anything else on the road, with cornering & canyon carving that spoils you for any other car. Cheap to service, light on consumables, if you enjoy an analogue, driver-focused experience try a Lotus Evora 400, you won’t be disappointed!

Nought a used 2012 Evora N/A in 2017. Thrilling car. Feel totally connected to this machine driving it in a way I only otherwise had i n a 1973 911 years ago. This car expands on that feeling with more of everything. Exceptional handling. Stock clutch wasnt great but had an Evora gt clutch installed and it hasbecome more exciting still. Hard to call it totally reliable toyota engine. Gas cap just brokeHad a door sensor replaced a door sensor, master cylinder, slave cylinder and now clutch replaced. Would have a problem with all of that if I didnt love this car so much.

Great car. Fast. If you own a lotus you have to be ready for some idiosyncrasies. There are a few things that are weird. But overall very satisfied.

Fantastic drivers car, puts a smile on my face everytime I drive her. With bullet proof Toyota engine and transmission, just a superb car for enjoyment.

I have owned the 2005 version of this car, which differs only slightly from the current versions for 2 years now. It's not a muscle car, and if you want to drag race there are faster cars for cheaper. What this car excels at is cornering. Horsepower isn't everything. The first time I tracked this car I had no trouble keeping up with a driver in a much higher HP mustang, who also had a lot more experience than me. He would pull away some on the straights, but by the end of each corner I'd be almost filling his rear view mirror. Hp is not everything. Also note that the Elise is class champion or 2nd place at the nationals in almost every autocross class where it is legal to run an elise (SSM being the major exception, with nobody running an fully prepared elise there). These cars are fast and corner like they are on rails if you know how to drive one. They do require a different driving style than muscle cars. Never had any reliability problems even with auto crossing the car regularly for 2 summers. Also there are several good sources for performance upgrades to these cars including CF parts, big brake kits, and supercharging (but I'm not supposed to mention vendors here).
