Lotus cars have always been designed and hand built for the enthusiast. This car is no exception. For the price of a base 911 you get exotic car looks, performance, and exclusivity. But, you don't get the build quality or reliability of a 911. You must be a true sports car enthusiast to buy a Lotus. It isn't a status symbol, it's a car to be driven!

Nought a used 2012 Evora N/A in 2017. Thrilling car. Feel totally connected to this machine driving it in a way I only otherwise had i n a 1973 911 years ago. This car expands on that feeling with more of everything. Exceptional handling. Stock clutch wasnt great but had an Evora gt clutch installed and it hasbecome more exciting still. Hard to call it totally reliable toyota engine. Gas cap just brokeHad a door sensor replaced a door sensor, master cylinder, slave cylinder and now clutch replaced. Would have a problem with all of that if I didnt love this car so much.

Our negotiations were straightforward, he facilitated getting the car to a shop for a pre-purchase inspection I’d setup and also contacted a company for me to get a temporary wrap for the car to be protected on my drive home back to NC (shout out to Alex and the guys over at ONEighty who fit me in on short notice. Thank you!). Once I got in town at Staten Island, Alfredo’s team was super accommodating and welcoming as well. The Lotus Elise is a true sports car and that is all the company makes. This car is surprisingly comfortable even for tall drivers. Handling and acceleration are great for road or track and the unique styling of the Elise will set you apart from all the others.

John at specialty car collection got me into my dream car with ease, got me approved for everything and made sure I would get into this car no matter what. Very responsive and helpful with any questions I had along the way. 10/10 would recommend buying a car from here!

2011 was the last model year for the Elise in the US market. Per official Lotus' Archives there were only 77 Elises sold in the US that year. This car is beautiful and a head turner. It is faster than most people think. The Toyota Engine is just the shell and has been modified and tuned by Lotus engineers so it is not a Celica's motor by any means. 1.8 liter and 0-60 in 4.8 sec. It is the only street legal race car. The handling is the best of any exotic/sports car. No Ferrari or Lamborghini can beat this little car in any twisty road. Most likely collectible since they will never bring it back to America. Get yourself one if you can!
