I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

We looked at Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Mazda and selected the Mazda CX-5. Honda and Toyota have priced themselves out of the middle-class budget, and Nissan’s Achilles Heel is their very brittle CVT transmission. Mazda is by far the best-looking, has AWD as standard equipment (a $1,200 to $1,500 option on other brands), easy-to-read gauges and dash, nice sound system, soft-touch dash and doors usually found only on “premium” brands, the best price, and the most beautiful factory color on the road: Soul Red. Our family has owned vehicles from all 5 companies, and have been totally happy with our problem-free CX-3. Anyone looking to buy a compact crossover should consider the CX-5.

This place is amazing! They have so many cars to choose from. Plus they have an exotics lane which is really cool, they have everything from a Benz to a Porsche! The whole buying process is very quick, I bought my car in two hours and drove home. In comparison to the Mercedes of Stevens Creek, which literally took me 8 hours to buy after I picked out my car. The only knock is the service department, which doesn’t do paint repair for scratches, even though they told me that the scratches on my car would be fixed, they only used touch up paint, which looks like I did it myself and not professionally done like I wanted. But it was a used car, so no big deal. Overall I highly recommend!

I bought my 2023 CX-5 Premium Plus back in March and haven’t regretted my choice since. I love this car! Took awhile to acclimate to the infotainment selection dial, but now that I have, it’s easy to use. The interior design and component selection are impeccable. The handling and acceleration (for a 4 cylinder) are also very impressive. Only con is the limited cargo space.

Tony, our sales rep, did not pressure us into a sale. He let me test drive two different vehicles to see if I really wanted the turbo engine. He found a vehicle which had the features we wanted and saved us money. I highly recommend working with Tony Vo when you are looking for your vehicle.

Very comfortable, drives great, awful entertainment system. Instead of touch screen there is a dial you turn to select radio, Waze, basically everything for screen. It's difficult. Dial doesn't move smoothly and you wind up looking down and giving so much attention, you can get in an accident. If your not a person to use different apps in car then it's great otherwise get a vehicle with touch screen.

The CX5 is a great vehicle for a great price!! I find this SUV to be very comfortable to drive and it handles great on the highway as well as the back roads! The simplicity of the interior design is a welcome change for me. I found all the touch screen technology of my other vehicle was very distracting while driving and it was just more to go wrong!

The fuel injector went out on my 2019 F150. This is an employee-driven vehicle and I needed to get it back on the road fast, or we'd miss serving clients. Because I have an extended warrantee, the repairs were fully covered. Northbay is down a couple service people, as one of their longtime people just retired, and it's hard to find qualified people to hire in our small city. But they escalated my truck, and got it done in a couple days. It was driving beautifully after that. Marcus, my contact, is awesome at customer service. He is great in person - goes beyond. Mike Wynne at Capitol Mazda was the 1st of 3 dealerships in the area to call back. The offer had to be good enough to persuade me to make the 3 1/2 hour drive. The internet price at Capitol Mazda was already reduced by $1600 off MSRP. Right off the bat, Mike said that there was an additional internet discount of $1000…so I didn’t have to do any haggling. I did a Google search of my 9-year old trade-in estimated at $7800-8300; Mike offered $1700 more than the higher end of the Google trade-in value. The car inspection showed some previously known repairs needed but he still gave the original trade-in offer. He also gave honest advice about using navigation on my iPhone through Apple Car Play rather than buying the Mazda navigation sim card.
