I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

I love my 2014 Mazda CX-5. It is technically a 2014, but apparently no 2014s on Cars.com to review. It is so reliable—requires just basic maintenance like oil changes, new windshield wipers and tires as you’d need on any vehicle. Handles well, even on snow. Wish it had a turbo engine, but it’s plenty fast and not an issue. Never had any big expenses or surprises. My only 1st world complaint is the outdated/cumbersome GPS system and it sometimes doesn’t connect to my Bluetooth when trying to play Pandora—but the phone has never been an issue. I may look for a newer to me CX-5 just for something new to drive! My step-son may be the lucky one in line to drive the 2014 CX-5 next!

Bought this model in 2014 brand new, it's 10 years later, at 100K miles, still runs like new , only items done are maintenance so far.Tires, brakes, battery, wipers, etc. Has never been in the shop for anything else. Period.

We have owned our 2022 CX-5 Turbo for 10 moths and it is a great vehicle. Our previous SUV was an Acura RDX Advance. It too was great but this Mazda is of a higher quality and $10-$15,000 less when purchased new. Every once in a while the doors don’t lock when I walk away (I have it set up to do so) and that is the only issue I have had in 10 months and 10,000 miles. I highly recommend any Mazda product. We also own a ‘21 Miata RF, have owned several Miatas along with a Mazda6 Signature and a CX-9 Grand Touring. All have been great vehicles.

I love my 2018 Mazda CX-5 to absolutely no end! I have a blast driving it, and it is my first car. I have the Touring FWD model, but it does NOT skimp out on features, it has blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, back-up camera, Automatic Emergency Braking, airbags EVERYWHERE, and whole plethora of other safety features. It is very quick, reliable, and fun to drive. My only complaint is there is not much in the way of cabin storage. But it is not a deal breaker, since the trunk of the car has a large cargo area, and lots of room in the spare tire area. It has an amazing Bose speaker system and I was given this car for my birth day at about 30k miles, but it was purchased new. I have FWD (Front wheel drive) but it still does amazing in conditions like rain, and minor snow. It is also the only car from this segment that placed a good rating on the IIHS Crash Test. It is often on par with luxury brands like BMW and Mercedes but having the advantage of being half the cost and Japanese so it lasts forever and also since it's not German, the repairs won't cost a house mortgage. However, if you get a 2018, make sure you get an updated Navigation SD Card. I cannot recommend this car enough, it is perfect in nearly everyway. I am now a loyal Mazda customer, and will always have a Mazda in my garage, I trust them more than any other automaker. Perks: Large backseat (I am 6'1 and can for the most part fit comfortably in the back) Fun to drive Fuel efficient Safety Feature galore Reliable and cheap to maintain Excellent use of space Cons: If I had to choose, not as much cabin storage as I want, but I want more than the average person.

We were loyal Subaru owners previously but were forced to look at other car makers when the 2025 forester had problems and recalls. The 2025 Mazda cx-5 was the most similar car, with no recalls or issues. We were pleased with the price and ready availability, made the jump from Subaru and haven't looked back. We owned several Subaru's previously and never had any issues with them - our most recent was fifteen years old. As retirees, the new safety features like the backup screen and warnings for blind spots are terrific. I just hope the Mazda proves to be as problem-free. Also, the Mazda CX-5 was highly rated by our insurance co. and lowered the cost of our insuring our new car.

No deal yet but they have been very responsive and helpful, still dealing with them.

Test drove a used 2019 CX-5 two days ago and loved it. However, the exterior had a number of scratches and no sunroof, which is a must. Came home, looked online and found an immaculate 2018 CX-5 with only 31K miles at a Mazda dealer 70 miles away. Test drove it this morning and brought it home this afternoon. Smooth acceleration, quiet cabin, absorbs bumps nicely. Feels like driving a much more expensive care. Touring model gives you all the features you would expect in a much more expensive car. Looking forward to many years of driving comfort and enjoyment. PS Took a very critical friend with me to check out the car, and he had nothing but praise for it.

I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

We looked at Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Mazda and selected the Mazda CX-5. Honda and Toyota have priced themselves out of the middle-class budget, and Nissan’s Achilles Heel is their very brittle CVT transmission. Mazda is by far the best-looking, has AWD as standard equipment (a $1,200 to $1,500 option on other brands), easy-to-read gauges and dash, nice sound system, soft-touch dash and doors usually found only on “premium” brands, the best price, and the most beautiful factory color on the road: Soul Red. Our family has owned vehicles from all 5 companies, and have been totally happy with our problem-free CX-3. Anyone looking to buy a compact crossover should consider the CX-5.

Our latest car purchase of a 2025 Bronco Sport from Bickford Ford however was an exceptional experience all around. Living in Orlando, you know it’s kinda hard not to have a car to get you from place to place, especially when you are trying to juggle work, school, and personal life. As a person who works in the medical field, and having to be around patients on a daily basis, be at church twice a week, and as a nursing student, be able to get to my classes, and Clinical’s in a timely manner, it’s kind of hard not having a car to be able to do the things that I need to do. So I went onto my company’s website and saw that we had an opportunity to purchase a car through offlease Orlando, and I have been praying since February 2024 to get a Mazda CX-5, and when I saw they had two available. I’m 72 and have owned many cars including jags, Volvo, bmw, ect this is the nicest, comfortable car I’ve had, l suspect that kept in good condition and serviced correctly it will last many years, if you are looking for a reliable, attractive, zippy car then this is for you, l test drove all the similar cars and the cx5 was the car for me.

I have been coming to the dealership for about 15 years now. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The waiting area is nice with free coffee. I will continue with Mazda of Everett.

Well I am really not sure this is legal but Mazda and many other manufacturers charge you monthly for an app that controls the vehicle. Remote start etc. I purchased this vehicle and I'm sure they already charged me in the purchase price for all the options it has. How can they charge me $10 a month for the rest of the years I own this vehicle just so I can remote start and see other information about the vehicle? It is like I sell you a kitchen and after a year if you want to open the doors you have to pay monthly for an app to do it. This is totally ridiculous and a scam. Say Mazda or any other car manufacturers sell 20,000,00 cars and all the people that bought them pay $10 a month to use the app they make an additional $200,000,000 for just use of the app. Well this is in my mind an absolute tragedy and should be illegal. Shame on them and all car manufacturers. I found an option to fix this. It still should not be this bad but anything to not pay these corrupt people any money. I found an aftermarket kit to fix this permanently for just over two years of monthly payments. It is called Startz, you can purchase on Amazon and install yourself. Good Luck

We were looking for a pre-owned Certified Forester. Carter Subaru in Shoreline had the car we had been looking for, for over 3 months. Steve, the salesman was kind, not pushy and very knowledgeable of all the tech on our 19 Forester. The purchasing process was easy. We were in and out in less than an hour. It was worth the 3-hr drive from our home in north central WA to Shoreline. Our (my wife's) Outback has a LOT more miles than our (my) "new" 19 Forester, so when our Outback wears out we will be giving Steve a call to find another Outback for my wife. I bought the 2015 cx5 used a few months ago with 88k miles on it. Based on my research it should last up to 300k miles with regular maintenance and non aggressive driving. I have the grand touring trim in all black. It's a very good looking vehicle inside and out. Placement of gauges is very good and buttons/functions are easy to access. Temperature functions are simple and work really well. Good venting. Windshield wipers work fine but the intermittent timer sometimes seems to fluctuate either based on speed of the car or there's something malfunctioning. I can't tell to be honest. Storage is good and there's enough pockets, compartments and spaces for personal items. Overall the look and feel seems right on the bubble of being luxury. The handling is on the stiffer side made to give a feel of performance which it does. I get a pretty strong connection with the road. The turns are tight. It feels good to drive and it's even fun though I don't push that. I used to have a Mazda protege in the 90's and it gave that handling excitement despite its modest power. The cx5 reminds me why I liked that car. The lag when pressing hard on the gas is a bit annoying and the 0-60 time seems a bit slow for the 184hp 2.5l engine but once it gets into it's power band it goes. Gas mileage is very good imo. I get 26 mpg combined city/highway. Seats are comfortable enough though I might have chosen the touring model for the cloth seats instead of leather because items slide off the seats and I notice some wear and stitching tears that I'll need to have repaired. The adjustments with the seats are very good I think. I like the lumbar support. The hatchback works well but I would have appreciated an automatic open/close function. I haven't had a large hatchback before and it's a bit annoying having to force the closing if I have items in my hand. 1st world criticism certainly. The biggest issue with this model year (and I think all models up to 2018(?) is the gps and entertainment unit. It uses the old TomTom navigation system which is very clunky and too frustrating to bother with. I use my phone instead. The entertainment system works well enough but I'm surprised it included a CD player even in 2015. I don't listen to the radio or have a Sirius subscription so I mostly Bluetooth connect my phone for streaming music and navigation. It shouldn't be necessary with an integrated system already in place but the installed system is that bad. It's all made worse by the Bluetooth tech. It often disconnects for no reason and sometimes takes a minute or longer for the system to recognize my phone. Sometimes it will be connected but there's no sound, again for no reason I can see. Usually these issues happen at start up and once I'm driving a few minutes it works fine. If I watch a video on phone there's a big latency lag from the phone to the stereo. It's big enough that it's unwatchable since a mouth moves but the sounds come later. I have to disconnect bluetooth when watching a video which is a major annoyance. I'm planning on replacing the stereo head unit in the future which hopefully will solve all these problems. Overall it's really a great car.

Unfortunately, my car was totaled and I was able to find a very nice Toyota RAV4, that I’ve always wanted! Matthew was absolutely amazing. He was very welcoming and didn’t push any aspect of the deal on me whatsoever. He was extremely patient and very easy to work with. He made my buying experience extremely easy and fun which was a blessing because of all the stress I was feeling over my situation.

My CX-5 is perfect for me. I love the look, the reliability and the brand. For a mid-priced car, the customer service is wonderful. Mazda has nailed the red and I love the apple car play.

Have had our 2022 for 8 months now. It's been great, the fit/finish and ride are superior, IMHO, then my previous CRV and Rav4 vehicles. The only thing I would like to see is a touch screen entertainment center rather then the manual knob. The interior is well laid out with quality accents, feel and quiet, again far superior to our previous SUVs. So far it's been mechanically sound with no issues and we are enjoying it very much.

Kudos to the Campbells Nissan of Edmonds for seeing through the completion of servicing my 2017 Pathfinder. After being in service couple of times for an unidentified noise under the hood, it was finally diagnosed the third time as timing chain problem. For a 2017 with all maintenance services performed it was baffling. Much more damage was discovered after the timing chain cover was removed. The estimated cost was between 3k and 6k for complete repair. Special thanks to John the service manager and Mario the service advisor who directed me to Nissan Consumer Affairs and getting me in a loaner for the duration of time my vehicle was to be in for repair. After making my case to the Consumer Affairs, five days later John went the extra consumer satisfaction mile by contacting Consumer Affairs through several emails after my return call backs was to no avail. Through my affords and Campbells Nissan successful contact, my savings was 80% of the total bill. Thank you Campbells Nissan of Edmonds

This is my second CX-5. This first was a 2016 I bought in 2019 and loved tremendously and then it was totaled when I was rear-ended by someone texting and driving during Covid. I drove a sort of hand-me-down Jeep for a while during the weird Covid period when everything was uncertain but knew I wanted another CX-5 as soon as I felt financially comfortable. The car is extremely comfortable, handles well and has a beautiful streamlined and simply classic look. My partner who is a die-hard Mercedes snob even loves it!

Our sakes person was Daisy Fuentes, she did an excellent job, The car that I purchased was ready for a test drive when we first arrived. The car looked and performed very well. My trade in was evaluated and after some conversation, a very reasonable offer was tendered which I accepted. When we arrived, I seriously did not think that I would buy the car, but Daisy and the others involved made a fair offer and arranged financing, this all occurred in less than 2 hours. I am most pleased with the way that I was treated, the professionalism of the personnel, and their preparedness for my visit.

The vehicle is very comfortable and drives very smooth. I have never owned a Mazda before, but would very much consider getting another one in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised with my recent purchasing experience with West Coast Auto Works. Nick, the salesman, was polite, friendly, and helpful. Steven (Stephen?) in the finance department was fantastic as well, and it was refreshing that both of them were car guys. The pricing was transparent and fair and they were able to truly surprise me with a fantastic loan. I was also very appreciative of the speed with which the process was completed. I know that many dealerships train their staff to keep prospective customers on the sales floor for as long as possible; I was set up with a test drive, given a clear price, and provided options for financing very quickly. And--this bears repeating--the experience was excellent and I was amazed at the quality of the financing. I have no complaints.

I did an extensive research on Japanese SUV’s and I kept coming back to the Mazda CX5. This vehicle is beautiful inside and out and is amazingly smooth and quiet. It also has really good handling and plenty of power even with the 4 cylinder. I think Mazda gives the best bang for the buck of all the Japanese car brands. I highly recommend the Mazda CX5.

Came here for a really great looking Ford Explorer, the salesman Will was great and had paperwork for the recent suspension components the dealership replaced after finding some issue during their safety inspection. Ended up going home with the rig. I absolutely love it!

Purchased as my commuter vehicle, plenty of room for my work gear, very comfortable and a smooth ride to boot. easily getting 28-31 mpg is also nice!

Numbers matched what we discussed, and there were no surprise add‑ons pushed at the last minute. The paperwork was prepared quickly, and the team took time to explain each document before I signed. On delivery, the car was clean, fueled more than half which they make sure Everytime, and ready to go. A staff member went over the key features, paired my phone, and made sure I was comfortable with everything before leaving. Based on this experience, I would recommend this dealership to friends and family and would consider returning for my next purchase. This car met everything I wanted in a new-to-me car. It has AWD, a sunroof, heated seats (leather at that), a back-up camera, touch-screen double din with navigation, bluetooth, hands free connectivity, and a remote start is being installed. It is safe, reliable, and 100% functional for my needs. I have an 18 month old and 2 nieces I pick up daily from daycare/Kindergarten and they have a ton more room in the second row of my CX-5 then they did in my Subaru Forester. The hatch is also much bigger which allows me to take my sons full-sized stroller with me, if need be, on our outings. I absolutely love all the features. The only thing I wish it had was more pep. Don't get me wrong. It moves, but I am so used to driving turboed cars. (I also own a worked 2004 Subaru WRX that i LOVE!) so this thing not being the 2.5T is the only downside. However, without the turbo I don't need premium gas, so I know I am saving in the long haul. And, on that note, the gas mileage is fantastic. I was recently getting 20.1 mpg city driving and I can't ask for anything better because that is what I do most of. I love this car and will definitely be sticking with Mazda's for my new daily drivers!
