We found ourselves between a rock and a hard place and didn't think there was anything we could do, but we stopped at Machens to look at their "tent sale" vehicles. It was then that I ran into the greatest guy, Mr. MC Dampier, while I was certain there was nothing they could do to help us, MC was sure he could help us out. It took him less time than I thought and he had us preapproved for a reliable used car with low mileage and affordable payments. Along with MC, Mr. Dedrick Shelby was also very helpful and actually closed the deal. So, if you are need of a reliable car and a trustworthy dealer that can REALLY help you out instead of supplying empty promises, go see MC and Decrick, you will not regret it! I am so THANKFUL for Carli here at JC Lewis service. In 2021, we bought a brand new CX5 and drove our way from IL to Savannah. There, I left the new car and my daughter. Being 700+ miles away, I get very anxious about her dealing with "dealerships" and possibly being taken advantage of. Recently the car just "stopped" and had an emergency brake issue. We had the car towed to JC Lewis where Carli and the service team went to work. I cannot tell you how WONDERFUL, PATIENT, UNDERSTANDING, INFORMATIVE, KIND, all the feel-good words that Carli was and made me feel SO MUCH BETTER about my daughter having to deal with this. They had the car for about 3 weeks, provided a courtesy car and made sure to go over everything, made the repairs and then some. There were other issues that arose while they had it and I anxiously waited for a bill that could be in the thousands, but Carli was diligent in making sure anything that was covered under warranty, was. I cannot tell you how much I APPRECIATE her and her constant communication over the past 3 weeks. She didn't have to go that extra mile to put me at ease, as my daughter IS 26 :) but she did, and I am SO relieved. Seeing as this is the only Mazda dealership near my daughter in Savannah, she'll continue to bring her car there for all services. I did a lot of "homework" before we bought our Mazda's and if you're on the fence, Mazda (CX5) is the way to go & JC Lewis Mazda is the place for all your service needs. Thanks again Carli! My overall experience with Neil Huffman has been OK. They haven't done anything to make them stand above the rest nor any worse. One gripe that I have with all dealerships though is the time it takes to complete the sale. It took over 2 hours from the time we agreed on the price for the new vehicle until we started signing the paperwork. Again that's pretty common with buying a car but still excessive. My daughter also had already bought a used VW from Neil Huffman and had an issue with it on day one. The issue was that the Engine Oil level low light came on. They told her that the sensor needed to be reset and everything was OK. Shortly after leaving the dealership the light returned. I checked the oil level and found that it was in fact low (has the light indicated). The car was serviced and she has not had an issue since. I have a few maintenance visits for the car that I bought so I'll see how it goes, but for now I'm not to impressed with them from that prospective.

SO this is follow up of my previous not good review, Junior called me and apologized for my concerns and told me to come in, he ended up trading my ford to a 2018 Mazda CX5..I was impressed, who would take the car back and give you a better one. I even got a better interest rate. Jay was our salesman and he was very thorough and knowledgeable about the car and explained everything. I was highly satisfied, great service. Even though I loved my red ford escape but it was not meant to be. Thank you guys..

While waiting for my older Mazda's oil change I wandered through the new showroom and decided a new car was just the ticket. Having 2 Mazda s already I did look at other makes but Jose helped me see the error of my way-- in the best way possible! LOVE my new CX-5. I think they are one of the best cars on the road. My whole experience couldn't have been better and hope to be driving a Mazda for years to come.

After doing some damage to my 2017 Mazda 6, and getting into mountain biking with my best buddy. I thought that a CX-9 would better be set up for getting around places and much better visibility. My brother is the only Mazda Master Mechanic in southern Indiana and I asked him who was the best salesman there and he said Don Hamrick. And that had know him a number of years and purchased a number of cars from him. Don was great and when through all the books with me, but most were similar to the Mazda 6 that I had. Then Mark was ready for me and he was great, even got me a whole percentage point lower that I had been paying and a lower payment. Over all it was an outstanding experience. I am stuck on Mazdas for life. And Royal South Mazda Volvo dealership for life.

Our salesman was Glenn Gannaway. After coming to an agreement on the purchase of the vehicle, we had filled out a form for requests to be completed as part of the deal. One request was to repair or replace the damaged headliner. Secondly, Glenn told us he would get us the second of the pair of key fobs. Thirdly, we requested a bottle of touch up paint to take care of small nicks in the exterior paint. Now three weeks later, we are still waiting for these requests to be taken care of by this dealership.” The updated review is a five star review “We purchased a 2019 Ford Edge Titanium from this dealership on 11/10/22. We traded in our Ford Escape and our F-150 on this vehicle to have lower payment and more comforts. The deal went well with Glenn Gannaway as our salesman and Josh Woodruff taking care of the finances. Josh did an excellent job with our financing and made sure that we were able to get a refund on our unused Ford warranty balance. They gave us a fair trade on both of our vehicles and a reasonable price on our Ford Edge. There were a couple of items that had to be taken care of after the sale on the we owe sheet. The headliner had some damage and there was a few small paint chips and only one key fob with the Edge. The dealership has provided touch up paint for the chips and purchased a second key fob for us. They had repairs made to the headliner, and although it doesn’t look brand new, it is acceptable and hardly noticeable. The experience, although time consuming has ended on a good note and I would recommend buying a new or used vehicle from the Machens Auto Group.”

We spent three months researching and test driving vehicles. Once we determined exactly what we wanted, we started working with our local dealer to find it (they did not have what we wanted on their lot). It was a huge waste of time. We stumbled across an XC90 at Royal South Volvo which is 3.5 hours and out-of-state from where we live. Two phone calls and a few pictures later, we had a great price on our new vehicle, including a really solid price on my trade-in. They knew I didn’t want to waste an entire day traveling only to be disappointed and they did not disappoint. This was honestly THE best car shopping experience of my life and I absolutely hate car shopping. Ask for Nick or Ryan and they will take very good care of you.
