Compared to other 3 row SUV's, this girl is handling beautifully. The V6 roars on the highway (it's also used in the Mustang '11), the handling is straight out of a large coupé, and the styling is beautiful. The cruise control is also very smooth in curves and in the up and downs. She always performs well in the snow, the AWD doesn't disappoint, and for towing she's not the best, but can still carry most small campers, if that's your jam. The interior doesn't disappoint either. The seats are so good they haven't changed them in 11 years (so far!). Best part is, all the 7 seats are comfy! The very back row however can get cramped for the legs for the taller individual, but still an overall great place to be. The sound is great, but expect issues with the Bluetooth. You still have a 6 CD reader, so there's that, and an AUX jack. The boot also has decent space with seats up, and great space with all seats down. It's not without problems, however. She is always thirsty. You will spend a lot on gas. Expect about 500km on a city/highway usecase, 400km in the winter. For parking, it can get cramped, especially in some smaller underground spots. Overall, great car, fun to use, but will cost an arm in gas.

This SUV has it all. Third Row, adjustable mid row. Climate control rear. Cameras. Interior is built solid. Exterior holds up really well. Maybe a little undersized linkages/wheel components for overall vehicle weight. Outperforms MPG estimates.

I brought the car at 100000 km I put on 80000 on it no reliability issues. Grate in cold weather like -35°c and snow with all wheel drive in city not good mileage but on highway it is really good. Can do 800 km a 1/4 tank

I bought a 2012 CX-9 AWD Grand touring model in 2016 with 59k miles on the odometer. We now have 178K miles on the odometer and we still love the car. It has been rock solid. In 7 years and now with 178k on the odo, the only maintenance has been an alternator and a radiator. Of course oil changes/brakes/battery as any car would need. The leather heated seats still look new and work great. It's very roomy... with all seats down we can fit a twin mattress in the back. I have towed a popup camper several times a year and it tows it like it's not there (about 2000lbs). The awd goes through snow easily, but I doubt if it is hardly ever engaging and would probably have been fine with FWD only. We plan on driving the CX-9 until it has at least 250k on the odo, which should take about 4 more years. As others have stated, the mpg is a little low for this class of vehicle. We get around 17.5 mpg mostly until we get out on the highway, where we can get 22-23mpg.

A capable family transporter and a blast to drive. Seats seven but drives like a much smaller Mazda sports car. This is our fourth Mazda and by far our favorite.

Obviously no used car is going to be perfect, nor was I expecting it to be. They told me to come back the next day and the issues would be fixed. I came back and they did in fact fix the car. Over the past decade, I've driven this car, my daughters learned to drive with this car (thankfully, no accidents), and it has been a reliable, comfortable, and stylish addition to our collection of cars. Beautiful body styling. Sleek lines and swept-back looking. Reliable, though I have not had it too long, so far it has been a trustworthy vehicle. Comfortable with leather seats, third-row seating and plenty of cargo space. There is a Nav System, charging ports on the dash and in the console. Air Conditioning, with vents to the second-row seats. Moon roof, heated seats, bluetooth enabled and 18" wheels. The colour is a beautiful white with the interior sand colour. Just such a nice car.

This car had plenty of leg room for our above average height family of seven. It was surprisingly comfortable, especially for long trips. Very reliable too! Overall pleased with it and sad we no longer need a 7 passenger vehicle.

I genuinely loved my cx9 when I had it. It was roomy and the optional 3rd row came in handy. Had heated leather seats which I loved! Includes CD player, backup camera, and blind spot detection. Drives smooth and turns great. I test drive lots of SUVS and this one turned the best for getting into parking spots. Only downfall was the gas mileage. My work is an hour each way and I had to trade for a hybrid. I’m short but had no issue seeing well when driving.
