This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

My service Advisor Josh Kern was great, I've been there twice in the last couple of weeks to have various repairs I've been waiting to get done and they were spot on with timing, friendly service, and a fair price. I will be taking my F250 for all my repairs to Josh at Jim Tidwell Ford for all future service and/or repairs!

I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

I absolutely love my 2024 CX5 Preferred. It's my first SUV and my first Mazda (after 3 Cutlasses, 2 BMW's, an Audi, an Acura, and 4 Lexus sedans) and I couldn't be happier. The interior is luxurious, the ride is powerful yet smooth and quiet (equal to Lexus) and the handling is great. I test drove a RAV4 and a CRV and there was no comparison. It's fun to drive and I recommend it whole-heartedly.

The price was competitive, the financing was lightning quick. They washed it while I was signing and I was out of there in under an hour. Living in Orlando, you know it’s kinda hard not to have a car to get you from place to place, especially when you are trying to juggle work, school, and personal life. As a person who works in the medical field, and having to be around patients on a daily basis, be at church twice a week, and as a nursing student, be able to get to my classes, and Clinical’s in a timely manner, it’s kind of hard not having a car to be able to do the things that I need to do. So I went onto my company’s website and saw that we had an opportunity to purchase a car through offlease Orlando, and I have been praying since February 2024 to get a Mazda CX-5, and when I saw they had two available. I called and spoke with Briana the BDC Rep who was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and showed her eagerness to assist me, she made sure that I received a text and email to remind me of my appt and my sales rep. When I got to the dealership, I met with Orlando who was one of my sales reps, and he was partnered with Jarid who into the office showed, showed me around, explain to me how the process was going to go since this was my first vehicle purchase, and they really made me feel welcomed. As one of the cars was already sold, the one that I really wanted it was actually here still and just waiting for me to call it mine and take it home. I test drove the car and the car ran perfect no issues, I had a Carfax and it really was just perfect for me. The process of purchasing the car was smooth, easy, and didn’t take no time at all. I was able to purchase my dream car, the Mazda CX-5, and be able to drive home with a beautiful car. I am very happy with my purchase. I already owned a 2018 CX-5 and it never gave me any problems so I had no qualms about purchasing another Mazda. I went with the CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus for the horsepower and the extra perks (i.e. automatic folding mirrors, and I like that the side mirrors also turn down to see the curb when parking, front AND rear cameras, panoramic sun/moonroof, speed display in windshield, heated and ventilated cooling seats, and a 12-speaker Bose Stereo system). I love the extra power of the Turbocharged engine that my CX-5 doesn't have. The things I don't care for: 1) the retractable cargo cover (a $250 addl charge) doesn't attack to the lift (like my CX-5 does. It's much more convenient if it's attached so there's no pulling it out each time you need to put something in the trunk; 2) I don't like that I have to turn off the automatic shut off of the engine at stops and that I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. I'd like there to be an option to turn it off indefinitely unless and until I want to turn it on; 3) I would also love it if the driver and front passenger seats raised a bit higher. I'm not short but I would feel more comfortable if the seat height lifted another couple of inches. Overall, I really love my car. The steering is tight and the ride is more comfortable than I expected, and the inside of the cab is quiet and the stereo is premium. The seats are attractive with the light colored stitching to accent the seats. Because of all the features in my model, I got a lot of bang for my buck as opposed to a more expensive car costing $20K more for all the same features with Mazda reliability as well as more reasonable/affordable maintenance costs. I had a BMW several years ago and, once out of warranty, the maintenance is ridiculously costly. Additionally, the service department at the dealership where I purchased my car is top notch and the transparency for maintenance is appreciated! In the last 7 years of owning a Mazda, I have never had a bad experience.

Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

My tenth Mazda since 2010. Good looking vehicle, interior is well done. My only issue is road noise from the tires. It is a Turbo Premium Plus but louder than my 2019 CX9 GT. Not much wind noise or any other noise but just the tires.

As car dealers go they're likely one of the best. Danny was real good and helpful to work with and made the difficult process much smoother. One surprising hangup though was finding out there wasn't a spare which I would've thought was standard with a jeep and though the Carfax report showed this particular vehicle came with a flat repair kit AutoNation would not provide a replacement for it. That instance of customer service was a real disappointment, but overall I would say that Danny provided good customer service.

Soul red crystal paint best red ever. Turbo offers lots of power and good mileage. Interior is excellent. Quality thru out. Heads up display is cool. Adapative cruise is nice. Fit and finish is top notch. Has a shifter! No push buttons and no CVT!

Greater Atlanta Hyundai buyers...shop your local Hyundai dealer and then contact my good friend Pam McFadden, (706.874.8435) at Shottenkirk Hyundai of Rome to get her best shot. I bought two new Hyundai vehicles over the winter from Pam with far better trade values and discounts each time versus the 3 north GA Hyundai dealers near my Cumming GA home. The first deal was done over the phone until I drove over to make the trade, sign the papers, then drive home my new Elantra Hybrid Limited. The second trade was done completely remote, with a driver bringing the new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid to the house along with the paperwork to sign. The driver drove off in my wife's CRV hybrid.

We had this car 2021 till 'l2025 accumulating 100k miles. FWD and 2.0l. it's super extra reliable. Never had any problems mechanically or electronically. Infotainment system is pretty sluggish tho. Takes ages to boot up and connect to the phone. Also it shuts off the minute you kill the engine. A bit annoying. Also since it was FWD the rear tended to slip a lot on wet surface. Like if you go a bit faster on a curve rear would slip. Probably AWD is a must. But if you looking for agile, dynamic car for a fraction of the cost tlwhich is really reliable this can is for you.

We looked at Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Mazda and selected the Mazda CX-5. Honda and Toyota have priced themselves out of the middle-class budget, and Nissan’s Achilles Heel is their very brittle CVT transmission. Mazda is by far the best-looking, has AWD as standard equipment (a $1,200 to $1,500 option on other brands), easy-to-read gauges and dash, nice sound system, soft-touch dash and doors usually found only on “premium” brands, the best price, and the most beautiful factory color on the road: Soul Red. Our family has owned vehicles from all 5 companies, and have been totally happy with our problem-free CX-3. Anyone looking to buy a compact crossover should consider the CX-5.

Very impressive mid sized SUV. Very solid handling, great on gas, and looks solid. Very happy with the purchase. I looked at many others in the same class and I thought this was the best looking, had the best interior set up and is economical. Very happy with the purchase. Definitely would recommend.

Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.
