Yesterday we we puchased a car from Gaithersburg mazda. It was a stress free, rewarding experience. The sales consultant Sri was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. We will be returning to Gaithersburg mazda for future car purchases.

Drives like it looks, sharp and smooth. (It’s faster than you’d expect) and I haven’t had any problems or issues with it mechanically. Bought it new in 2019. It’s been paid off for 2 years now and I Still own it…I Didn’t buy it to carpool, and thankfully I don’t have kids. My fiancé and I traded in our ‘07 Mx5 5spd and bought the 2019 Cx3 Gt AwD mostly to take on road trips and it’s been perfect for that. But it’s been used to do all sorts of things. It currently has 47k and it’s doing just fine. It’s the perfect sized car for a normal couple with normal hobbies. Don’t compare it to something it’s not like a 4Runner or a Cx5 and you won’t be disappointed or have anything negative to say about it. BTW it was recently voted “Car of the Decade” by Driven (NZ)

We searched all over Northern Virginia for a reliable used car for our college aged daughter. From the scary fly-by-night warehouse dealers in Chantilly to a dealer in Alexandria selling a car that had obviously been in an accident as a 0 accident vehicle. Eddie and the team at 1st Choice Auto were a breath of fresh air. It's a small team, not competing with each other, with a solid lot of inventory, and a focus on helping their customers find a vehicle. They engaged us in dialogue to understand what we were looking for, recommended a couple vehicles on the lot, then took us out to see their entire inventory. We found a great Toyota Rav-4 with some bumper damage. Eddie got the rear left bumper fixed and painted! Price was fair and process was well oiled. I will come here first to purchase my next used vehicle.

Tons of leg room. Absolutely quiet while driving. I wish we would have found this van before. It allows for transporting and helping my family. Definitely well made.

The service was great and fast. There was not extra add-ons that some dealership try to get you to buy.

More power than you could ever need but still a versatile well mannered car. Lots of cargo room but still small enough to be very nimble.

For the most part I really like my 2013 Mazda. When I stop the car and try to turn off the ignition it doesn’t turn off the engine. In order to turn off the engine and electrical, I have to restart the cart and pump the gear shifter several times and then turn off the ignition. My wife used to drive a Mazda MPV had the same issue.

Wanted to upgrade from a Mazda3 (my 2nd) to more luxury and I got it with the Mazda6. Beautiful styling. Absolutely the most reliable and easy to care for car I have ever owned. Never fear to be on the road and I love the gas mileage.

I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

If my credit was on point I would've been driving my dream car. The K900 is a sleeper for those who do not know. But they did try to help.

Purchased a 2021 sedan premium plus turbo AWD in 2022 with 11,000 miles. THE BAD: At 17,000 miles I discovered the front end would wobble when I applied the brakes. I was told by the dealer that I needed front and rear rotors and that the cost would be $1,000. When I asked why I needed brakes at only 17K miles I was told it was because the rotors must have gotten wet when I drove through a puddle when they were hot. Really? He obviously thought I was an idiot. It ended up costing me $600 to have a local shop do the work including an upgrade on the quality of the original factory rotors and pads. At 29,000 miles the car left me stranded in a parking lot when the battery died. A replacement battery cost me $280. At 30,000 miles the original manufacturer tires were badly worn and needed to be replaced (and yes I rotate them in fact EVERY oil change as opposed to every other). I purchased 4 Michelin tires which cost me $1,200. Also at 30K miles a rock came up from the road and cracked my windshield causing me to spend my deductible to have it fixed ($500). Nobody's fault I understand, just one more expense with so few miles.I have also noticed that I often get a "safety and driver support systems temporarily disabled" notice. It seems to be random but is annoying nonetheless. Shouldn't be happening at 32K miles. At 29K miles I apparently hit a pothole and the front rim was badly bent. The cost to straighten the rim was $140. The lane departure safety feature is annoying. Every time I even begin to leave my lane it violently pulls me back. Even when I need to go around an object in the road it pulls me back. Also, the tone associated with lane departure only works when it fells like it which is probably a good thing. Another issue is that it takes forever for the interior to get warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The car needs to warm up for at least 15 minutes before the temperature gets where I need it to be. The problem with that is that when using the remote start through the Mazda App, it only allows the car to run for 10 minutes. Also, you can't make any adjustments to the temperature from the app. ... THE GOOD: This vehicle is a blast to drive! It sounds great and it has plenty of power and I am still in love with the exterior appearence. The interior is done so well and as YouTube car reviewers say, "it's a great place to be". It has every option I would every want except for wireless Apple car play. It handles great and the AWD seems to work really well in slippery conditions. Currently I am at a crossroads. Do I sell my Mazda3 while the value is still high and get something else or do I keep it and hope nothing else goes wrong? I really like the car but I want to love it. One issue is the fact that when I purchased it I got 2.9% financing. I would be lucky to get 6.9% with todays rates. Also, if I sold it what the xxxx would I buy that has all of these features, a turbo engine and AWD that wouldn't cost me $35-$45K?!

I did an extensive research on Japanese SUV’s and I kept coming back to the Mazda CX5. This vehicle is beautiful inside and out and is amazingly smooth and quiet. It also has really good handling and plenty of power even with the 4 cylinder. I think Mazda gives the best bang for the buck of all the Japanese car brands. I highly recommend the Mazda CX5.

I acquired my 2015 Mazda 6 used in late 2018. I have 321,000 on it now and it still runs and drives great. I have only ever had two service issues; drivers side lower control arm squeak ($400) and belt tensioner ($130). I do all my own repairs and maintenance. Still getting 34 mpg on the hwy. it’s not a race car, but has been extremely reliable and I will probably get another one (my 3rd in the new body style) when this one dies or starts “nickel and diming” me.

Have owned 2 Mazda 3 sedans. Purchased my 2014 brand new. It is hands down the best car for the money I have ever owned and I'm 66 years old. Will buy a Mazda anytime!

I bought my Mazda right off the lot in 2020. Its a very nice car, very reliable, perfect for long trips, my only issue was that ot wouldn't shift while I was going up hills/mountains while i drove in regular, had to switch to Manuel to get it to shift properly. The back seat is way small for anyone to sit comfortably, and the seats are to hard to sit comfortably as well. But all in all I love my car i love mazda brand. I wish I would have gotten a bigger size and not the cx3.

Living in Orlando, you know it’s kinda hard not to have a car to get you from place to place, especially when you are trying to juggle work, school, and personal life. As a person who works in the medical field, and having to be around patients on a daily basis, be at church twice a week, and as a nursing student, be able to get to my classes, and Clinical’s in a timely manner, it’s kind of hard not having a car to be able to do the things that I need to do. So I went onto my company’s website and saw that we had an opportunity to purchase a car through offlease Orlando, and I have been praying since February 2024 to get a Mazda CX-5, and when I saw they had two available. I called and spoke with Briana the BDC Rep who was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and showed her eagerness to assist me, she made sure that I received a text and email to remind me of my appt and my sales rep. When I got to the dealership, I met with Orlando who was one of my sales reps, and he was partnered with Jarid who into the office showed, showed me around, explain to me how the process was going to go since this was my first vehicle purchase, and they really made me feel welcomed. As one of the cars was already sold, the one that I really wanted it was actually here still and just waiting for me to call it mine and take it home. I traded my 07’ Mx5 for a 2019 cx3 GT AWD crystal blue w parchment leather. I love the cruise control you can set it and it basically drives itself. It will slow and speed up, it also stops for you if you’re at a stop and you don’t use the (auto hold) or forget to, if you start to go and there’s a car in front of you it will stop the car for you. It’s saved me from having an accident several times. It reminds me of my Mx5 of course that’s not a fair comparison, but it’s fun like my Mx5 just as fun in a different way. I like the size and all of the options. But the main reason why I choose the Cx3 is because I love the way it looks. Most smaller SUV’s are ugly. But the Cx3 is different. That’s probably why the Cx3 is still in production in some parts of the world. Yes there’s a 2024 Cx3 and it hasn’t changed much in almost 10 years. Too bad it’s not still produced in the US. My best advice for anyone looking to buy a Cx3 is to test drive a few different trim levels. (Sport, Touring and Grand Touring) personally I can’t always see at night, so I decided that I needed the LED headlights and I wanted the Bose sound system. But after owning it for 5 years and 40k miles I think Bose car stereos are overrated. It shouldn’t be a dealbreaker the regular sound system is just as good. But really think about the features that are important to you, and don’t settle. For example If you want Car play or android auto, then tell the dealer that you want car play installed or your not going to buy from them and I’m going to bet that they’ll get it installed for you. Just keep in mind that the Sport model and the GT model are priced differently for a reason. Personally I have mixed feelings about the AWD system, it’s amazing how it works but I don’t think it’s necessary for the majority of people. Thanks for reading. I purchased my 2013 Mazda 3i Grand Touring Hatchback (manual transmission) in 2014 and the previous owner had put 30K miles on it. I've now got 140K and still love the car. Outside of recommended maintenance, the only repair expense I've had was I decided to replace the clutch. It hadn't failed but it was starting to show some slippage. I haven't even had to replace the brake pads yet! As for likes and dislikes that someone checking out this car might not notice just from looking, here are some negatives: 1) The 1-2 shift is always a bit notchy but others are smooth. 2) The 2.0L doesn't have a lot of power in the lower revs but 3000-4000 rpms it's pretty spirited (assuming you don't have four large adults in the car) 3) I ended up replacing the OEM headunit (the BOSE with Navigation) with an Eonon. I had issues getting the Eonon working early on but after a couple updates, it's been a huge improvement. 4) The biggest negative is that at some point, I'll have to let it go. On the positive side: 1) It handles great, 2) It carries a decent amount for its size 3) It gets good gas mileage (I used to average 35mpg but in recent years my driving in this car has been more around town and it's fallen back to 31-32.) 4) It's been extremely reliable. 5) The front seats are very comfortable (I'm 5'7" and the car fits me great. I imagine taller people would not be as comfortable.)

We have owned the car for a month and have put on 3,000 miles. Its a lot of fun to drive but the passenger side is really lacking in leg room and the center console controls are difficult to get to. Its a real head turner!

I had a very stress free and simple purchase. My salesman Sayed was outstanding — very knowledgeable, very accommodating of changing schedules, and very pleasant to work with. There were none of the “usual tricks” — disappearing with the trade-in keys, asking “what it would take to buy the car today” etc etc. They honored the “internet price” without being asked. The best compliment I can give is that I would go back there to buy another new car.

Bought this model in 2014 brand new, it's 10 years later, at 100K miles, still runs like new , only items done are maintenance so far.Tires, brakes, battery, wipers, etc. Has never been in the shop for anything else. Period.
