Bought this car for my wife, hoping I'd get to drive it now and then. I surely would have preferred the 6 speed but it is hers after all. We have been considering a Miata for years but I always had a problem with the lack of security of the softop model.This car is great driving machine. The power to weight ratio is as good as it gets. Comfortable, excellent BOSE stereo, beautiful inside and out. The Grand Touring amenities are as good as it gets.

This is a pure driver's car, there are hardly any bells and whistles trying to sway you from the real experience: the drive. It's lightweight and extremely playful even with traction control. Not a lot of power, but it puts down it's power where it needs it the most. Even highway off ramps feel like a 2Fast2Furious moment.

What a fantastic car, the driving experience from this car is second to none. It is reasonably comfortable inside, with room for 3 passengers but 2 realistically as the driver must put their seat back to be comfortable. The build quality of the interior is up to par. Now for the driving, this car really really handles like it's on rails. Wherever you point it, it goes. The silky smooth rotary adds up to a unique experience of a car that makes you feel as if you are one with the road. The main downside with this car is the fuel consumption (It's a sports car so dunno if you should even consider any sports car if fuel consumption is a concern) and the intense maintenance schedule. If kept in good nick which is relatively easy this car is dream come true and quite an affordable one at that!

This is a great second car to own. It is smaller, but I really enjoy driving it. Don't expect it to be fast. They are not built for speed.

I had called Auto Connections early one morning to inquire about a car I’d seen on Cars.com. A nice gentleman named Stu answered the phone. I really didn’t expect anybody to be at the facility as it was only 8 am. We had a wonderful conversation about growing up in Seattle, life in general, and lastly about the car I was interested in. About 30 minutes into the conversation I asked what his relationship with the dealership was? (I had assumed he was on the maintenance staff or the cleaning crew) To my Suprise he told me he was the owner, along with his partner Keith. I told him I’d be there in 5 hours and he said Keith would be waiting for me. Upon arriving at the dealership and entering the building I was totally floored! A collection of the most amazing vehicles I had seen in a long time. The next more impressive than the first, all beautiful and in pristine condition. I looked around and nobody was in the building which I found quite odd. (Most dealerships the sales staff swarms you). Finally I found a gentlemen in a back office, his name was Keith. What a wonderful individual. We drove the car around for several blocks and returned to the dealership. Keith provided the information about the vehicle, a CARFAX, what they had checked on the car and answered every question I had. Very comfortable individual to deal with. I was sold! We agreed upon a price and I told him I’d be back in the am with a check. There was no pressure to sign anything just a handshake, trust has been established. The next morning I met Stu the other owner. He was a wonderful gentlemen and we had a nice conversation. Doing my research that evening, I had discovered some issues with this particular vehicle and had gone down a Rabbit Hole on the internet. I made my concerns heard by Stu and he reluctantly gave me a few more hundred dollars off the price of the vehicle. This was both unfair to Keith, whom I had agreed to on a price, and to Stu who hadn’t been in on the prior days negotiations. When my wife and I returned a few days later, I returned the extra monies to Stu and apologized for my selfish behavior. I asked him to also sincerely apologize to Keith as we had made a purchase agreement. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and my experience with Auto Connections. The car was made ready and any detailing and issues were addressed by Shane, the most grifted detail man in the business. This gentlemen is truly amazing at what he can do for a car. He went the extra 100 miles, even sanded the headlights for a clear beautiful look. Auto Connections covered all their bases and have the experience to truly find the car of your dreams. If you love driving, this is for you. I love every moment in this car. It is perfectly balanced, and carves curves like a sharp knife. The manual transmission is fantastic, with hill assist so you don't roll backwards. The styling is a head Turner. The fun factor is on par with nothing else that returns up to 40 mpg on the highway.

This has to be the quickest and smoothest car purchase experience we have ever experienced! We were blown away by how easy everything went. This car is in excellent condition. The body and convertible roof are in great shape. The paint is in great shape, wheels and tires look great. Everything on it is original and in good condition. Everything has been well maintained since 1988. It is still a go getter, smooth ride.

This is a great, fun, solid car. I can't stress that enough, the steering, power, weight ratio, is just perfectly balanced. The 1.3l Rotary engine is just amazing, and so much fu to drive. I've put over 12,000 miles on my Rx-7 and the only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I have a baby on the way. If it had a backseat, I'd probably keep it! The only thing is the reliability. I've had 3 problems within the last month, all little things, and easily fixable, but annoying when it's your daily driver. Thankful that I have a motorcycle as a backup vehicle.

They have nice cars and are easy to work with. I recommend them for cars that have a bit of personality for sure.

This is a great car to drive. Black leather seats all around. Front bucket seats with built in heat for cold days. Has extra storage and plugs to charge up your phone even in the back seats. Has plenty of leg room and is a 4 door. This car is so smart, it'll tell you if your running low of air in the tires. All my friends like to drive it too.

I always wanted a Mazda RX-8 so l got one three years ago with only 9500 miles on it best car I've ever owned l am 65 years old and regret the day I might have to sell it l hope that doesn't happen any time soon.

I bought this car new in 2007 and have been enjoying it ever since. I have the six speed manual and the whole setup is is mechanically tight and exhilarating. This is one of those cars that was built from the ground up and you feel it. The outside design still stands up, even though it’s been 15 years since its original release. The handling on dry roads is outstanding with its near perfect 50/50 weight distribution. On wet or slippery roads it does not inspire nearly the same confidence. The rotary has been extremely reliable, though I have had to educate myself on de-flooding techniques to spare the tow truck once or twice a year. My son is anxiously waiting for me to hand over the keys, but right now I’m still having too much fun.
