This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

The staff were prompt in calling me after I found the vehicle online. Everyone I had to deal with were great. I really liked the method of looking for the vehicle online and then going to test drive.

I absolutely love my 2024 CX5 Preferred. It's my first SUV and my first Mazda (after 3 Cutlasses, 2 BMW's, an Audi, an Acura, and 4 Lexus sedans) and I couldn't be happier. The interior is luxurious, the ride is powerful yet smooth and quiet (equal to Lexus) and the handling is great. I test drove a RAV4 and a CRV and there was no comparison. It's fun to drive and I recommend it whole-heartedly.

I did an extensive research on Japanese SUV’s and I kept coming back to the Mazda CX5. This vehicle is beautiful inside and out and is amazingly smooth and quiet. It also has really good handling and plenty of power even with the 4 cylinder. I think Mazda gives the best bang for the buck of all the Japanese car brands. I highly recommend the Mazda CX5.

I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

My wife went in to buy a car alone, as I was out of state working. She worked with a salesman by the name of Mr. Jolly. He was amazing with her. I love my 2018 Mazda CX-5 to absolutely no end! I have a blast driving it, and it is my first car. I have the Touring FWD model, but it does NOT skimp out on features, it has blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, back-up camera, Automatic Emergency Braking, airbags EVERYWHERE, and whole plethora of other safety features. It is very quick, reliable, and fun to drive. My only complaint is there is not much in the way of cabin storage. But it is not a deal breaker, since the trunk of the car has a large cargo area, and lots of room in the spare tire area. It has an amazing Bose speaker system and I was given this car for my birth day at about 30k miles, but it was purchased new. I have FWD (Front wheel drive) but it still does amazing in conditions like rain, and minor snow. It is also the only car from this segment that placed a good rating on the IIHS Crash Test. It is often on par with luxury brands like BMW and Mercedes but having the advantage of being half the cost and Japanese so it lasts forever and also since it's not German, the repairs won't cost a house mortgage. However, if you get a 2018, make sure you get an updated Navigation SD Card. I cannot recommend this car enough, it is perfect in nearly everyway. I am now a loyal Mazda customer, and will always have a Mazda in my garage, I trust them more than any other automaker. Perks: Large backseat (I am 6'1 and can for the most part fit comfortably in the back) Fun to drive Fuel efficient Safety Feature galore Reliable and cheap to maintain Excellent use of space Cons: If I had to choose, not as much cabin storage as I want, but I want more than the average person.

This car feels very neutral and smooth in corners at any speed. Sometimes, it feels like it's too easy to go too fast in this because the grip is so confidence-inspiring. I have the non-turbocharged model, which has plenty of giddy up to it. I'm not sure if I regret choosing it over a turbocharged variant but there's plenty of power for my needs. The gearing is pretty tall and you need to plant your foot to let it rev out and find the right gear, but doing so is rewarded with a very responsive and surprisingly smooth engine for being a 4 cylinder. I was feathery on the gas at first, so it was underwhelming but I adjusted to the inputs. The car feels plenty sporty and the grip makes cornering feel amazing. The rear suspension is torsion beam and you will notice it on very poor roads, but everyday driving on decent roads feels super refined, quiet and grip is not affected by this suspension arrangement. I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm 6'3" and fit pretty comfortably in the car even with the sunroof right above me. I've been in cars with more front legroom and have been less comfortable than I am in this car. Seat bolstering could be an issue for those with wider shoulders. I'm someone who loves a low driving position, so this car is a godsend in a world of soulless, blobby SUVs. I think this is the best all-around compact car you can get.

Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

I bought my Mazda right off the lot in 2020. Its a very nice car, very reliable, perfect for long trips, my only issue was that ot wouldn't shift while I was going up hills/mountains while i drove in regular, had to switch to Manuel to get it to shift properly. The back seat is way small for anyone to sit comfortably, and the seats are to hard to sit comfortably as well. But all in all I love my car i love mazda brand. I wish I would have gotten a bigger size and not the cx3.

The vehicle was priced under KBB Value (despite its immaculate condition and extremely low mileage), and the offer for my trade-in was very generous (on the far right end of the KBB bell curve). Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

Purchased the PHEV a little over 1 year ago and put 12K+ miles on it so far, and I like it a lot. Its stylish, quiet and great on gas. I consistently get over 70+ MPG around town and 35+MPG on longer trips. However, I *strongly recommend* the L2 charger as it cuts charging time down to 2.5 hour with 29 miles range. Without it, the L1 charger takes forever. I went with a 30W auto splitter on my dryer plug for under $140 on Amazon. Its amazing! However, even if you switch to gas, the Hybrid system averages 26 MPG with standard driving. My only complaint so far is the connection to Google/Apple play sometimes drops for seemingly no reason 1-2 times a week and the reactive driving can be touchy. Overall, very reliable and fun to drive. I highly recommend.

My Subaru Forester was ideal for the task at hand. Salesman Nick, Derrick in service, Ben in mechanics covered all necessary elements. This vehicle was absolutely reliable throughout a 3,000 mile drive through British Columbia to Alaska. The team of CarMax, Hoover AL were as accommodating as possible in preparation and the drive was successful.

I moved up from a 2015 Mazda 3 sport to the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring soft top in May of 2020. It is soul red with tan leather interior. I have received many compliments from people who say the car looks more expensive then it really is. I prefer the soft top over the hard top model because it was almost 5 grand cheaper and I get more open space when driving with the top down. Takes me about two seconds to drop the top even while I'm sitting in the driver seat at a stop light. It is a lot of fun in sport mode on the highway as you can easily pass about anyone in seconds. Sometimes people move out of you way when they see you in their rear view mirror, lol. I turned off the lane departure feature as it beeps too much for me. I love the blind spot feature, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, seat heaters, and rain sensing wipers. There is a lot of wind noise in the cabin even with the top up and it is not as comfortable on long rides like the Mazda 3 was but I wouldn't go back. The trunk space is only good for one week of groceries or one carry on suitcase. There is no spare tire so I recommend having roadside assistance. CarPlay for iPhone works seamlessly and the Bose system sounds awesome. Build quality is top notch on this car, nothing feels cheap, and everything is laid out well. You have storage behind your seats but be aware the glove box is in between the seats and can be blocked by anything in the cup holders. I'm 5 foot 3 so this car fits me perfectly.

Every time I have sold or traded in my Miata I have regretted it. We relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas from Salt Lake City, Utah last November. We had three cars including a 2008 MX-5 that I had bought in 2020 with only 36,000 miles on it. We sold the 2008 MX-5 and after moving I decided to get another one, my fourth. It took about a month but I was lucky to find a 2010 GT PRHT WITH!!! just 1500 miles! I had it shipped here from Garland, Texas and am so glad I did. This Miata must have been in a car collection since it looks like it just came off of a showroom floor. The engine still smells like a new engine breaking in and there is not a scratch on it. Love this car and will never sell this one. This 2010 handles better than my previous three did.

I have the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. The car is beautiful, sports mode is great for picking up speed on the highway, the app is great and it has all the features I wanted in a great price- sunroof, remote start, leather seats, etc. Drawbacks: Backseat: Car seat does not have as much room in the back (I knew this prior to purchasing, but I didn't think it would be that bad. Unfortunately I do wish it had more leg room especially as my 5 year old continues to grow). Tire pressure is not displayed inside the vehicle. This has already impacted me when I had a blow out on the highway, I had no idea my tire was losing air. Other than these factors, I am happy with my purchase.
