I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

This is my second CX-5. This first was a 2016 I bought in 2019 and loved tremendously and then it was totaled when I was rear-ended by someone texting and driving during Covid. I drove a sort of hand-me-down Jeep for a while during the weird Covid period when everything was uncertain but knew I wanted another CX-5 as soon as I felt financially comfortable. The car is extremely comfortable, handles well and has a beautiful streamlined and simply classic look. My partner who is a die-hard Mercedes snob even loves it!

THAT WAS FINE WITH ME. THE NEXT DAY…MIKE CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THE CAR WAS READY…I WANTED HIM TO CALL ME BEFORE I CAME DOWN BECAUSE I LIVE 60 MILES AWAY… WHEN I GOT THERE THE NEXT DAY…IT TURNED OUT THAT ONE OF THIER MECHANICS…CHRIS…WHO WORKED ON MY CAR THE PREVIOUS DAY… HAD A FEW EXTRA MINUTES ON HIS HANDS…SO HE TOOK ME ASIDE AND TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT HE DID TO THE CAR FOR ME…AND SHOWED ME PICTURES…ON HIS CELL PHONE… OF WHAT MY MECHANICS COULD NOT SEE…THE NOT VISIBLE PARTS THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEMS THAT MY MECHANICS COULD SEE…THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES…SO TO SPEAK… I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THAT… IF THAT WAS NOT “BEING TRANSPARENT,” THEN I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE PHRASE. The best purchase of my life. Bought this while in college as a basic sedan that I always liked the look of, and it was the most pleasant surprise of my life! So affordable, fun, peppy, responsive, and easy to maintain. It’s one of those cars that becomes your identity and a part of your personality. Maintained the car in my early 20s while going to school and had zero issues funding this car. Gas is cheap and my most major issue was the suspension needed to be redone when I hit 200k miles and because of harsh winters, I decided to put that repair money into a new AWD car. I miss the Mazda though!!! Recommend this vehicle to anyone and everyone!

We have owned our 2022 CX-5 Turbo for 10 moths and it is a great vehicle. Our previous SUV was an Acura RDX Advance. It too was great but this Mazda is of a higher quality and $10-$15,000 less when purchased new. Every once in a while the doors don’t lock when I walk away (I have it set up to do so) and that is the only issue I have had in 10 months and 10,000 miles. I highly recommend any Mazda product. We also own a ‘21 Miata RF, have owned several Miatas along with a Mazda6 Signature and a CX-9 Grand Touring. All have been great vehicles.

Living in Orlando, you know it’s kinda hard not to have a car to get you from place to place, especially when you are trying to juggle work, school, and personal life. As a person who works in the medical field, and having to be around patients on a daily basis, be at church twice a week, and as a nursing student, be able to get to my classes, and Clinical’s in a timely manner, it’s kind of hard not having a car to be able to do the things that I need to do. So I went onto my company’s website and saw that we had an opportunity to purchase a car through offlease Orlando, and I have been praying since February 2024 to get a Mazda CX-5, and when I saw they had two available. I called and spoke with Briana the BDC Rep who was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and showed her eagerness to assist me, she made sure that I received a text and email to remind me of my appt and my sales rep. When I got to the dealership, I met with Orlando who was one of my sales reps, and he was partnered with Jarid who into the office showed, showed me around, explain to me how the process was going to go since this was my first vehicle purchase, and they really made me feel welcomed. As one of the cars was already sold, the one that I really wanted it was actually here still and just waiting for me to call it mine and take it home. I test drove the car and the car ran perfect no issues, I had a Carfax and it really was just perfect for me. The process of purchasing the car was smooth, easy, and didn’t take no time at all. I was able to purchase my dream car, the Mazda CX-5, and be able to drive home with a beautiful car. With graduation being December 2025, this is my first big purchase, and this is going to help me be able to finish my classes before graduation, be able to help me and get to and from work, be able to help patient with my own personal company called “iFirst Care”, be able to drive myself to church, and be able to have fun with my friends and family. Sydney who is one of the Sales Reps and also the “Repo Lady” made sure she checked on me to make sure that I was doing OK as I was waiting in the waiting room for my paperwork to be finished and finalized. Albert who is the Finance Rep make sure that I had all my documents ready and prepared and made the signing process so easy and smooth to the point that I did not break a sweat when I signed my life away Lol! This was my best experience ever when buying a car. The guys here were great and helpful and they didn’t hassle us or hover over us while we were looking at the vehicle. They had a ton of knowledge and got us the best deal. They also went above and beyond and filled the gas tank up for us. I have the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. The car is beautiful, sports mode is great for picking up speed on the highway, the app is great and it has all the features I wanted in a great price- sunroof, remote start, leather seats, etc. Drawbacks: Backseat: Car seat does not have as much room in the back (I knew this prior to purchasing, but I didn't think it would be that bad. Unfortunately I do wish it had more leg room especially as my 5 year old continues to grow). Tire pressure is not displayed inside the vehicle. This has already impacted me when I had a blow out on the highway, I had no idea my tire was losing air. Other than these factors, I am happy with my purchase.

This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

I love my 2018 Mazda CX-5 to absolutely no end! I have a blast driving it, and it is my first car. I have the Touring FWD model, but it does NOT skimp out on features, it has blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, back-up camera, Automatic Emergency Braking, airbags EVERYWHERE, and whole plethora of other safety features. It is very quick, reliable, and fun to drive. My only complaint is there is not much in the way of cabin storage. But it is not a deal breaker, since the trunk of the car has a large cargo area, and lots of room in the spare tire area. It has an amazing Bose speaker system and I was given this car for my birth day at about 30k miles, but it was purchased new. I have FWD (Front wheel drive) but it still does amazing in conditions like rain, and minor snow. It is also the only car from this segment that placed a good rating on the IIHS Crash Test. It is often on par with luxury brands like BMW and Mercedes but having the advantage of being half the cost and Japanese so it lasts forever and also since it's not German, the repairs won't cost a house mortgage. However, if you get a 2018, make sure you get an updated Navigation SD Card. I cannot recommend this car enough, it is perfect in nearly everyway. I am now a loyal Mazda customer, and will always have a Mazda in my garage, I trust them more than any other automaker. Perks: Large backseat (I am 6'1 and can for the most part fit comfortably in the back) Fun to drive Fuel efficient Safety Feature galore Reliable and cheap to maintain Excellent use of space Cons: If I had to choose, not as much cabin storage as I want, but I want more than the average person.

Have had our 2022 for 8 months now. It's been great, the fit/finish and ride are superior, IMHO, then my previous CRV and Rav4 vehicles. The only thing I would like to see is a touch screen entertainment center rather then the manual knob. The interior is well laid out with quality accents, feel and quiet, again far superior to our previous SUVs. So far it's been mechanically sound with no issues and we are enjoying it very much.

I moved up from a 2015 Mazda 3 sport to the 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata Grand Touring soft top in May of 2020. It is soul red with tan leather interior. I have received many compliments from people who say the car looks more expensive then it really is. I prefer the soft top over the hard top model because it was almost 5 grand cheaper and I get more open space when driving with the top down. Takes me about two seconds to drop the top even while I'm sitting in the driver seat at a stop light. It is a lot of fun in sport mode on the highway as you can easily pass about anyone in seconds. Sometimes people move out of you way when they see you in their rear view mirror, lol. I turned off the lane departure feature as it beeps too much for me. I love the blind spot feature, automatic headlights, automatic climate control, seat heaters, and rain sensing wipers. There is a lot of wind noise in the cabin even with the top up and it is not as comfortable on long rides like the Mazda 3 was but I wouldn't go back. The trunk space is only good for one week of groceries or one carry on suitcase. There is no spare tire so I recommend having roadside assistance. CarPlay for iPhone works seamlessly and the Bose system sounds awesome. Build quality is top notch on this car, nothing feels cheap, and everything is laid out well. You have storage behind your seats but be aware the glove box is in between the seats and can be blocked by anything in the cup holders. I'm 5 foot 3 so this car fits me perfectly.

Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

Overall, enjoy my Mazda CX Premium. Pros: Great Handling and solid stance, prefer the lower to the ground/wagon feel, priority on driving vs tech. Google maps and streaming and I am happy Cons: Short driver seat lacks support. Fabric seats in premium have developed a few snags, Infotainment bugs (I like the knob): can add same station to favorites multiple times, statelite always starts at beginning versus current station, and screen dimming auto dim required reading online forums to see the dashboard buttons override the infotainment vehicle setting. Lastly the IP plastic/crystal had to have replaced due to scratch and replaced one still seems low quality. 24 MY upgraded the suspension to make softer and the steering is not as heavy.

Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

Purchased new in 2019 touring model- have 76K on it - no issues so far. Changed brakes all around - plugs - one drain and fill on the tranny and changed the fluid in the transfer cases. Changed the oil every 6k. Info screen is dated but once you get used to it - its fine. Touring has the 17 inch wheels which gives it a good ride quality. Good buy!

Love the personality of the reps and they are always eager to help! They don't push you into buying more than your original budget and won't bother you about it! They also will let u browse the lot on you own, and all there cars are unlocked! I absolutely love there transfer program where they will transfer vehicles to your local stores without an obligation, and many transfers are free! Only complaint about Carmax is that I feel the cars are a bit overpriced, but it's worth it in the end for there customer service!
