I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

I love my 2014 Mazda CX-5. It is technically a 2014, but apparently no 2014s on Cars.com to review. It is so reliable—requires just basic maintenance like oil changes, new windshield wipers and tires as you’d need on any vehicle. Handles well, even on snow. Wish it had a turbo engine, but it’s plenty fast and not an issue. Never had any big expenses or surprises. My only 1st world complaint is the outdated/cumbersome GPS system and it sometimes doesn’t connect to my Bluetooth when trying to play Pandora—but the phone has never been an issue. I may look for a newer to me CX-5 just for something new to drive! My step-son may be the lucky one in line to drive the 2014 CX-5 next!

The best purchase of my life. Bought this while in college as a basic sedan that I always liked the look of, and it was the most pleasant surprise of my life! So affordable, fun, peppy, responsive, and easy to maintain. It’s one of those cars that becomes your identity and a part of your personality. Maintained the car in my early 20s while going to school and had zero issues funding this car. Gas is cheap and my most major issue was the suspension needed to be redone when I hit 200k miles and because of harsh winters, I decided to put that repair money into a new AWD car. I miss the Mazda though!!! Recommend this vehicle to anyone and everyone!

For the most part I really like my 2013 Mazda. When I stop the car and try to turn off the ignition it doesn’t turn off the engine. In order to turn off the engine and electrical, I have to restart the cart and pump the gear shifter several times and then turn off the ignition. My wife used to drive a Mazda MPV had the same issue.

I love it! Bought it new in 2020. Grand Touring Reserve with the turbo in Soul Crystal red metallic. I'm currently at 56k miles with zero issues. I do oil changes every 5k miles. Originally I test drove a CRV, RAV4, Forrester, and CX5. I picked the Mazda bc it looks, feels, and drives like a luxury SUV. 320 |b/ft of torque for a compact really gives it the edge over anything else in the class. Four years later and it still feels as solid as the day I bought it. The handling's amazing, and the ride is great! Some people have called the ride firm but I would say it's super compliant. It settles very quickly over bumps without feeling upset. The Bose system sounds "good" but only has bass and treble adjustments with no mid which would make it even better. The ventilated seats work better than in other cars I tested as well. It's also one of the quietest too letting in very little wind and tire noise.

I drove all the way from Charlotte, NC to buy a beautiful Alpine White BMW 328d touring M-Sport. These guys already had the car on ready for my test drive when I got there. It was missing the floor mats and I was ok with it but they offered to ship me some new OEM rubber ones! I work with dealerships for a living, these guys have hands down some of the best customer service I’ve seen. They also worked with my local FCU even though they’re not in PA. Thanks guys!

I purchased my 2013 Mazda 3i Grand Touring Hatchback (manual transmission) in 2014 and the previous owner had put 30K miles on it. I've now got 140K and still love the car. Outside of recommended maintenance, the only repair expense I've had was I decided to replace the clutch. It hadn't failed but it was starting to show some slippage. I haven't even had to replace the brake pads yet! As for likes and dislikes that someone checking out this car might not notice just from looking, here are some negatives: 1) The 1-2 shift is always a bit notchy but others are smooth. 2) The 2.0L doesn't have a lot of power in the lower revs but 3000-4000 rpms it's pretty spirited (assuming you don't have four large adults in the car) 3) I ended up replacing the OEM headunit (the BOSE with Navigation) with an Eonon. I had issues getting the Eonon working early on but after a couple updates, it's been a huge improvement. 4) The biggest negative is that at some point, I'll have to let it go. On the positive side: 1) It handles great, 2) It carries a decent amount for its size 3) It gets good gas mileage (I used to average 35mpg but in recent years my driving in this car has been more around town and it's fallen back to 31-32.) 4) It's been extremely reliable. 5) The front seats are very comfortable (I'm 5'7" and the car fits me great. I imagine taller people would not be as comfortable.)

Living in Orlando, you know it’s kinda hard not to have a car to get you from place to place, especially when you are trying to juggle work, school, and personal life. As a person who works in the medical field, and having to be around patients on a daily basis, be at church twice a week, and as a nursing student, be able to get to my classes, and Clinical’s in a timely manner, it’s kind of hard not having a car to be able to do the things that I need to do. So I went onto my company’s website and saw that we had an opportunity to purchase a car through offlease Orlando, and I have been praying since February 2024 to get a Mazda CX-5, and when I saw they had two available. When I got to the dealership, I met with Orlando who was one of my sales reps, and he was partnered with Jarid who into the office showed, showed me around, explain to me how the process was going to go since this was my first vehicle purchase, and they really made me feel welcomed. As one of the cars was already sold, the one that I really wanted it was actually here still and just waiting for me to call it mine and take it home. Albert who is the Finance Rep make sure that I had all my documents ready and prepared and made the signing process so easy and smooth to the point that I did not break a sweat when I signed my life away Lol! I was looking for a slightly used Jeep Wrangler. I've seen Auto Connection and the sweet vehicles they had. We bought our Mazda new after getting lemon law money back from a Ford Fiesta Fiasco. We love our Mazda and have had zero issues with it. At 107K miles now and runs great. We've only ever had to do normal maintenance on it and she still runs and looks great.

Drives like it looks, sharp and smooth. (It’s faster than you’d expect) and I haven’t had any problems or issues with it mechanically. Bought it new in 2019. It’s been paid off for 2 years now and I Still own it…I Didn’t buy it to carpool, and thankfully I don’t have kids. My fiancé and I traded in our ‘07 Mx5 5spd and bought the 2019 Cx3 Gt AwD mostly to take on road trips and it’s been perfect for that. But it’s been used to do all sorts of things. It currently has 47k and it’s doing just fine. It’s the perfect sized car for a normal couple with normal hobbies. Don’t compare it to something it’s not like a 4Runner or a Cx5 and you won’t be disappointed or have anything negative to say about it. BTW it was recently voted “Car of the Decade” by Driven (NZ)

Love the personality of the reps and they are always eager to help! They don't push you into buying more than your original budget and won't bother you about it! They also will let u browse the lot on you own, and all there cars are unlocked! I absolutely love there transfer program where they will transfer vehicles to your local stores without an obligation, and many transfers are free! Only complaint about Carmax is that I feel the cars are a bit overpriced, but it's worth it in the end for there customer service!

I acquired my 2015 Mazda 6 used in late 2018. I have 321,000 on it now and it still runs and drives great. I have only ever had two service issues; drivers side lower control arm squeak ($400) and belt tensioner ($130). I do all my own repairs and maintenance. Still getting 34 mpg on the hwy. it’s not a race car, but has been extremely reliable and I will probably get another one (my 3rd in the new body style) when this one dies or starts “nickel and diming” me.

I traded my 07’ Mx5 for a 2019 cx3 GT AWD crystal blue w parchment leather. I love the cruise control you can set it and it basically drives itself. It will slow and speed up, it also stops for you if you’re at a stop and you don’t use the (auto hold) or forget to, if you start to go and there’s a car in front of you it will stop the car for you. It’s saved me from having an accident several times. It reminds me of my Mx5 of course that’s not a fair comparison, but it’s fun like my Mx5 just as fun in a different way. I like the size and all of the options. But the main reason why I choose the Cx3 is because I love the way it looks. Most smaller SUV’s are ugly. But the Cx3 is different. That’s probably why the Cx3 is still in production in some parts of the world. Yes there’s a 2024 Cx3 and it hasn’t changed much in almost 10 years. Too bad it’s not still produced in the US. My best advice for anyone looking to buy a Cx3 is to test drive a few different trim levels. (Sport, Touring and Grand Touring) personally I can’t always see at night, so I decided that I needed the LED headlights and I wanted the Bose sound system. But after owning it for 5 years and 40k miles I think Bose car stereos are overrated. It shouldn’t be a dealbreaker the regular sound system is just as good. But really think about the features that are important to you, and don’t settle. For example If you want Car play or android auto, then tell the dealer that you want car play installed or your not going to buy from them and I’m going to bet that they’ll get it installed for you. Just keep in mind that the Sport model and the GT model are priced differently for a reason. Personally I have mixed feelings about the AWD system, it’s amazing how it works but I don’t think it’s necessary for the majority of people. Thanks for reading. More power than you could ever need but still a versatile well mannered car. Lots of cargo room but still small enough to be very nimble.

Overall, I’m in love with this car. I’ve had it for a little over a year now after purchasing it used with 140000km it’s happily taken me over 550km consecutively, has literally climbed out of every situation a car shouldn’t have, including a ditch, and hasn’t needed any maintenance other than your basic oil changes and flat tires (likely due to a surplus of burnouts). Whoever wrote that this car is isn’t fast likely hasn’t driven this car because Mazda go zoom zoom and before I hit maximum acceleration I ended up gravelplaning at 180. Also for a four cylinder this motor has an amazing take off and refuses to redline!(Thats a really good thing.) Lastly, my check engine light has been on for the entirety of my ownership.

I had been looking for a pickup and found one on their site. Since I am over 200 miles away, I called to verify if it was there and the details of the truck. I spoke to Joey, he was very polite and answered all my questions. The next day I drove the 200 plus miles, once there everybody was very courteous, Joey showed me the truck and it was exactly as stated on the site. Joey was very personable, no pressure, and was very professional. I bought the truck and drove it over 200 miles back home, it drove very nice. I was given a 2003 Tribute at the beginning of my senior year in high school from my grandfather, and despite having...I'd say, 150000 - 180000 miles on the odometer, it ran very well, and still does. My grandfather drove it off the lot new in 2003 and used it for 17 - 19 years commuting back and forth to work, and it has about 205500 miles on it now, and it's running fantastically. You know it's a good car when it can have 180000 miles on it and survive a year plus of a new driver navigating mountain roads both too quickly and too slowly. For a while (as in several years), there was a problem where the engine would shudder violently at a less-than-1000-rpm idle, but that problem seems to have been solved recently, at least for the past month or so.

I had a 1990 Miata before. It was extremely reliable and fun to drive. This one does not disappoint. Thus far, it has been fun to drive and very economical.
