I love my 2014 Mazda CX-5. It is technically a 2014, but apparently no 2014s on Cars.com to review. It is so reliable—requires just basic maintenance like oil changes, new windshield wipers and tires as you’d need on any vehicle. Handles well, even on snow. Wish it had a turbo engine, but it’s plenty fast and not an issue. Never had any big expenses or surprises. My only 1st world complaint is the outdated/cumbersome GPS system and it sometimes doesn’t connect to my Bluetooth when trying to play Pandora—but the phone has never been an issue. I may look for a newer to me CX-5 just for something new to drive! My step-son may be the lucky one in line to drive the 2014 CX-5 next!

I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

Living in Orlando, you know it’s kinda hard not to have a car to get you from place to place, especially when you are trying to juggle work, school, and personal life. As a person who works in the medical field, and having to be around patients on a daily basis, be at church twice a week, and as a nursing student, be able to get to my classes, and Clinical’s in a timely manner, it’s kind of hard not having a car to be able to do the things that I need to do. So I went onto my company’s website and saw that we had an opportunity to purchase a car through offlease Orlando, and I have been praying since February 2024 to get a Mazda CX-5, and when I saw they had two available. I called and spoke with Briana the BDC Rep who was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and showed her eagerness to assist me, she made sure that I received a text and email to remind me of my appt and my sales rep. When I got to the dealership, I met with Orlando who was one of my sales reps, and he was partnered with Jarid who into the office showed, showed me around, explain to me how the process was going to go since this was my first vehicle purchase, and they really made me feel welcomed. As one of the cars was already sold, the one that I really wanted it was actually here still and just waiting for me to call it mine and take it home. I test drove the car and the car ran perfect no issues, I had a Carfax and it really was just perfect for me. The process of purchasing the car was smooth, easy, and didn’t take no time at all. I was able to purchase my dream car, the Mazda CX-5, and be able to drive home with a beautiful car. Sydney who is one of the Sales Reps and also the “Repo Lady” made sure she checked on me to make sure that I was doing OK as I was waiting in the waiting room for my paperwork to be finished and finalized. We purchased another used truck from John at J&C Used Vehicles. There was a vibration that could not be worked out by balance so John authorized new tires to be installed and new sensors in each wheel. No more vibration and the tire light is off. They always take care of us after the sale. When we need another vehicle, we will purchase from them again.

I bought my 2017 Mazda 6 Touring new, and have absolutely loved the car. It looks amazing, the interior feels like a much more expensive car. It's also fun to drive- agile, smooth, athletic. It's not a "fast" car per se, but it's fast enough, and has great chassis dynamics. It has been bulletproof, not a single issue with it. Gas mileage is quite good, too. The only criticism I have is that the original tires were too noisy. I switched to Michelin Pilot Sport 4 season, and they are much better.

The best purchase of my life. Bought this while in college as a basic sedan that I always liked the look of, and it was the most pleasant surprise of my life! So affordable, fun, peppy, responsive, and easy to maintain. It’s one of those cars that becomes your identity and a part of your personality. Maintained the car in my early 20s while going to school and had zero issues funding this car. Gas is cheap and my most major issue was the suspension needed to be redone when I hit 200k miles and because of harsh winters, I decided to put that repair money into a new AWD car. I miss the Mazda though!!! Recommend this vehicle to anyone and everyone!

Bought it in 2022 with 95,000 miles did the 100,000 mile service at the dealership great gas mileage and performance for the highways in Texas because most of the speed limits are 75mph

I have this car in high school back in 2002 to 2005. Loved it great on Gas great ongoing on trips had plenty of room for being my friends. I even had fun taking that air filter out made it sound louder to get another one.

I acquired my 2015 Mazda 6 used in late 2018. I have 321,000 on it now and it still runs and drives great. I have only ever had two service issues; drivers side lower control arm squeak ($400) and belt tensioner ($130). I do all my own repairs and maintenance. Still getting 34 mpg on the hwy. it’s not a race car, but has been extremely reliable and I will probably get another one (my 3rd in the new body style) when this one dies or starts “nickel and diming” me.

Very versatile with room for 7 or fold down the seat and have room to haul almost anything. I've only ever had to do routine maintenance. Nothing has ever broken on this car.

We bought our Mazda new after getting lemon law money back from a Ford Fiesta Fiasco. We love our Mazda and have had zero issues with it. At 107K miles now and runs great. We've only ever had to do normal maintenance on it and she still runs and looks great.

I bought a used 2006 Mazda 5 Base Sport that was 3 years old from a dealership and while maintenance cost while making payments was low and fuel economy good, comfort however for a man who is 6 foot 200 lbs is non existent especially in the lumbar region. The car is peppy like the Mazda 3 that's hidden below the sport wagon facia the Mazda 3 small disk brake set up isn't good going down a steep mountain road as you eye the run away truck ramp standing on the brake pedal and smelling it heat up. And while driving up the same said steep mountain road the 4 cylinder engine will blow the oil cooler under the strain. As to the interior the plastic and latching components are inferior and prone to easy breakage as was the case of the lever to fold down the useless third row seating. Other than that it's nimble and will round and hold curves like a sports car and it's suspension is handles the bumps and ruts like a sports car not a luxury car with air ride suspension. If you are a small family of 4 wanting a peppy wagon the Mazda 5 fills the bill but need room for a larger family and cargo a larger minivan is is better suited.

Owned for 6 years. Almost no maintenance required. Just oil changes, new brakes and tires at usual intervals. Great car. Runs well. Performs okay in snow. Better with snow or all season tires. 4 cylinder engine is fine for city use but not great when more power is needed for accelerating and highway passing. Design is good but becoming dated. Interior is good but some nice features are only found on the highest trim level, grand touring.

Have owned 2 Mazda 3 sedans. Purchased my 2014 brand new. It is hands down the best car for the money I have ever owned and I'm 66 years old. Will buy a Mazda anytime!

Most reliable car in my 37 years of driving! NO problems. Biggest negative are brakes grabbing at parking lot speeds. Biggest positive 39 mpg average. I had software upgraded and replaced USB module from Walmart for Android auto and Apple carplay

Great car overall! Everything feels very high quality and ride experience is sporty and tight but still comfortable. But there is one pretty big issue with this car and it’s the infotainment system. Probably the glitchiest infotainment system I’ve ever used. But this shouldn’t be a huge issue for you if you value the driving experience more than the electronics

I've driving sports cars muscles cars and high end luxury cars. Mazda wins for the cost in reliability, features for cost, drivability, and design. It's drives nicer than it's competitors Honda, and toyota. BTW those are its competitors your buying a reliable car when you choose a mazda it's no Chevy Ford nissan or Hyundai garbage. Safety rating good. No cat transmission which some are okay but maintenance cost is less with mazda and they make their transmission in house and their solid reliable. Engine gets good gas mileage it's a big suv smaller motor but still plenty of get up and go for being a 4 cylinder if you consider it slow remember it's non turbo so less maintenance cost things to worry about plus still get great gas mileage.

For the most part I really like my 2013 Mazda. When I stop the car and try to turn off the ignition it doesn’t turn off the engine. In order to turn off the engine and electrical, I have to restart the cart and pump the gear shifter several times and then turn off the ignition. My wife used to drive a Mazda MPV had the same issue.
