Used Mazda cars for sale near Plainfield, IN under $499,990

I purchased my 2013 Mazda 3i Grand Touring Hatchback (manual transmission) in 2014 and the previous owner had put 30K miles on it. I've now got 140K and still love the car. Outside of recommended maintenance, the only repair expense I've had was I decided to replace the clutch. It hadn't failed but it was starting to show some slippage. I haven't even had to replace the brake pads yet! As for likes and dislikes that someone checking out this car might not notice just from looking, here are some negatives: 1) The 1-2 shift is always a bit notchy but others are smooth. 2) The 2.0L doesn't have a lot of power in the lower revs but 3000-4000 rpms it's pretty spirited (assuming you don't have four large adults in the car) 3) I ended up replacing the OEM headunit (the BOSE with Navigation) with an Eonon. I had issues getting the Eonon working early on but after a couple updates, it's been a huge improvement. 4) The biggest negative is that at some point, I'll have to let it go. On the positive side: 1) It handles great, 2) It carries a decent amount for its size 3) It gets good gas mileage (I used to average 35mpg but in recent years my driving in this car has been more around town and it's fallen back to 31-32.) 4) It's been extremely reliable. 5) The front seats are very comfortable (I'm 5'7" and the car fits me great. I imagine taller people would not be as comfortable.)

I found a car that I was very interested in buying and called Mazda on Friday night. Because I live on the north side it's a log trip down to the dealer and wanted to make sure the car was in stock and what type of deal could be worked out. Everyone I spoke to on the phone understood the situation and worked with me to get the answers I was looking for. Tyler, the used sales manager, just felt very honest through the entire conversation so I felt comfortable going there the next morning. When I arrived, I met Tyler and got introduced to Mike, one of his salesmen, who had a ton of energy, was funny, and knowledgeable about the car. We arrived at approximately 10:45 and drove off the lot with the car around 3:15. In all, it was a bit of a process, but that's to be expected to get financing in line, sign all of the paperwork, etc. that being said, it did NOT feel like it took long at all. Mike was awesome to hang out with throughout and everyone made the process completely painless. When I left, I was happy with my car, satisfied that I got a fair deal, and happy that I made the trip to Hubler Mazda. I couldn't recommend these guys more!

Great car. Radar guide cruise control is extremely annoying, so is the beeping for everything that you cant shut off. Its slow as xxxx, but it is a soccer mom car. Super fuel efficient and reliable... except for the water pump that seems to go out every 20k miles but its covered to 200k. Other than that, haven't had a single issue with it. Great commuter car. Good for road trips but back seat was mad for small children. Im 6,0 and cannot fit unless the person in the front has their knees in the dashboard

I found a great used car with low mileage at Hubler Mazda. While the show room is closed for major remodeling and they are working out of temporary offices, the team was very helpful! I didn't feel pressured or rushed to buy. We also added leather seats and tinted the front windows and I got a great price. It was a very nice experience. I love my new car!

Drives very smoothly. Very good acceleration. Quick maneuverability. Good on gas mileage. Comfortable interior, but front seats could be slightly wider. Audio system is very good. The "hands free" setup is good but could be improved, as it does require a hand to use and can be mildly distracting until one gets used to using it.

Spencer was great to work with! As an out of state buyer, I was purchasing this car sight unseen. Spencer sent me a video of the car, which was a great help in convincing me to follow thru with the purchase. Was able to handle most of the paperwork via email, which was quick and easy. Despite this being the final year offered (the CX-90 will replace it soon) the CX-9 is still a looker. The 6 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the 2.5L turbo has plenty of power to move this 4200 pound AWD, SUV. Seats are very comfortable in both first and middle and I keep the third row folded down leaving a good sized cargo area for hauling groceries, 50lb bags of birdseed, softener salt and anything else I need to carry. And I absolutely love the way this thing handles! It feels far more like a nimble car than a 3 row SUV. The 12 speaker Bose sound system is clear and powerful. The cabin is very quiet at all speeds. The ride is firm but solid and comfortable. Not a squeak or rattle. I have the Carbon Edition and I feel it looks as fresh as any new three row mid-sized SUV out there. I traded my 2019 Ram Limited (an incredibly luxurious truck for the Mazda and I was concerned about adapting to a smaller vehicle but the CX-9 is everything I could have hoped for. I would recommend anyone who enjoys driving and has to occasionally carry some bulky stuff to consider one of these before they're gone.

We love Dreyer & Reinbold! We can say they have always made buying a new car fun! who says that???!! Our new 2025 Countryman Electric is our 5th Mini from them. Presley Stewart kept me updated throughout the ordering process, at pick up taught us all kinds of crazy new features. There is so much to learn that we have a follow-up date. I can say I have a new friend. and BTW our new Mini's name is Fritz... names after the Cincy hippo :)

At first glance you ask yourself... what did I buy. It looks small and very low to the ground. You manage to get in and start the car. The engine roars to life and it's louder than what you might be used to. The seat hugs your body and you begin to get comfortable. First gear sprints the MX-5 into what feels like a roller coaster ride. It's lively and fun, and you tell yourself... yeah, I can get used to this. Is you're looking for excuses to take it out for a ride.

My son and I was on a car buying mission on Saturday February 22nd 2025. We started our journey at Indy Luxary Autos on Pendelton Pike to be let down. So we went on to our original plan and headed for Indy Auto Center on Michigan Rd., originally my son was after a 2013 Baby Blue Chrysler 200 that he seen roughly about a week prior on the internet and absolutely wanted it. I called on our way to the dealership to make sure it was still available and told Sami that we would be there in 30 minutes not knowing it would take all of that 30 minutes to get there from Pendleton Pike to his location on Michigan Rd. When we arrived there was a bit of a snafu. Well long story short version a set of lady's came in 10 minutes after we had talked on the phone (Sami thought it was us) and they took the car we was after out on a test drive with it being first come first serve and we understood that. Now in the mean time of them only supposed to be on 15 minute test (the ladys where gone for at least 45 minutes) drive they took us to another 200 that was a year older a bit nore in price by like $900.00 and it really caught my son's eye to the point they pulled it out and got it all situated for him to take it out. Now the other car was still on a test drive when the other one we was offered was ready to be taken out. We eneded taking them both out and my son fell in love with 2nd car that Sami showed us and his family even gave us HUGE discount for all trouble that we went through. I was very pleased with the outcome and so was my son. Now I'm not going to lie I was worried that something might go wrong because you just never know with used cars but it hasn't and he has drove it everywhere. I'm very greatful for Smai and his team they where kind courteous and very helpful. I was originally going to post the review the day we bought the car but I wanted to make sure it was solid and that his crew and dealership was worthy of a very amazing review and I couldn't be happier with our choice of car or dealership. Owned for 6 years. Almost no maintenance required. Just oil changes, new brakes and tires at usual intervals. Great car. Runs well. Performs okay in snow. Better with snow or all season tires. 4 cylinder engine is fine for city use but not great when more power is needed for accelerating and highway passing. Design is good but becoming dated. Interior is good but some nice features are only found on the highest trim level, grand touring.

We showed up 30 minutes until close and they were so understanding and kind. We found a Volvo we absolutely loved right away and they made the buying process so easy and fast for us. I will definitely come here again for my next vehicle. The gentleman that assisted us was so easy to talk to and friendlier than others we spoke with at other dealerships. I am so glad my friend told us to check them out because there is no way I could’ve asked for a better, safer vehicle for my husband within a reasonable price range.

I love my car but 3 of my door handles on the outside have fallen off since I bought the car 5-30-2023 other then the handles I love my car.

My wife and I purchased a Cadillac XTS for from this dealership. Ralph, the salesman, was extremely helpful and upfront with everything about the car. I read all of the reviews and have to wonder the legitimacy of some of the terrible reviews after our experience. As with all used cars, you can get lemons. With this in mind, I would say that I do recommend this dealership or flying service and follow up.

Originally purchased 12 years ago to replace a Honda Civic as a sales vehicle, this car has proven to be the most reliable vehicle I've ever driven with the least amount of maintenance issues. It's also been a lot of fun to drive. The 5 speed manual transmission has provided excellent gas mileage and minimal brake wear. The only real issue I had was with the original radio/CD player not functioning in very cold weather. That I replaced with another model. Having owned this car for 12 years, it runs as well as when it was new.

Mike is a super nice gentleman to work with. He was not a normal pushy salesman. He allowed us to take our time! Loved that the miles and prices are clearly marked on each car.

Bought our '06 Tribute used w/ 145k miles. Purchased it just as a "local errands" car to keep miles off our '22 Mustang's odometer and leave my older Ford F250XL w/V10 parked because it loves fuel. Pleasantly surprised. Plenty of room for the two of us + our pit bull and luggage. Have used it for a few trips to Florida and to Helen GA. No issues, decent gas mileage and overall comfortable to drive. Not as easy on the body as some of the larger SUV'S, (Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator), but still comfortable and easier on the wallet when it comes to fuel, (and insurance), and insurance costs. Normally, we flip our older used vehicles every 6-8 months but the wife wants to keep this one awhile, she feels comfortable operating it. Went so far as to purchase a Thule cargo box for the roof rack to give us even more space. I think Mazda may have made a mistake discontinuing this model in favor of the smaller CX models.

Never been treated so well, everyone treated me like family, the whole process was seamless from start to finish my salesman Garrett Steele was amazing and made it easy, from sales to financing to paperwork could not be more perfect.

This car feels very neutral and smooth in corners at any speed. Sometimes, it feels like it's too easy to go too fast in this because the grip is so confidence-inspiring. I have the non-turbocharged model, which has plenty of giddy up to it. I'm not sure if I regret choosing it over a turbocharged variant but there's plenty of power for my needs. The gearing is pretty tall and you need to plant your foot to let it rev out and find the right gear, but doing so is rewarded with a very responsive and surprisingly smooth engine for being a 4 cylinder. I was feathery on the gas at first, so it was underwhelming but I adjusted to the inputs. The car feels plenty sporty and the grip makes cornering feel amazing. The rear suspension is torsion beam and you will notice it on very poor roads, but everyday driving on decent roads feels super refined, quiet and grip is not affected by this suspension arrangement. I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm 6'3" and fit pretty comfortably in the car even with the sunroof right above me. I've been in cars with more front legroom and have been less comfortable than I am in this car. Seat bolstering could be an issue for those with wider shoulders. I'm someone who loves a low driving position, so this car is a godsend in a world of soulless, blobby SUVs. I think this is the best all-around compact car you can get.

I’ve had two great experiences buying cars from Fritz in Fishers. The staff is warm, welcoming, friendly, and very real. It’s easy to have a long conversation with them, just chatting about the business and about the market climate and etc. They’ve been in the auto sales business for more than 40 years and there’s many good reasons why. Most of the bad reviews seem to be written by people who failed to ask questions or do their homework on the ***used*** cars they purchased. All used cars have surprises, whether big or small. Fritz has a solid warranty on their vehicles and a dedicated service department, and will be honest with you if they think you would get better help from a dealership. All in all, I’m happy to call myself a repeat customer of Fritz in Fishers.

We had this car 2021 till 'l2025 accumulating 100k miles. FWD and 2.0l. it's super extra reliable. Never had any problems mechanically or electronically. Infotainment system is pretty sluggish tho. Takes ages to boot up and connect to the phone. Also it shuts off the minute you kill the engine. A bit annoying. Also since it was FWD the rear tended to slip a lot on wet surface. Like if you go a bit faster on a curve rear would slip. Probably AWD is a must. But if you looking for agile, dynamic car for a fraction of the cost tlwhich is really reliable this can is for you.

This is my precious car I lovedddd the car but winter is tough with the snow. My only complaint was the low profile tires are more prone to flat tires I had a lot! Snow and hills are not ideal but I worked overnight hours so roads are the worst at those hours!! Overall LOVED the car but wanted a safer car for work and child transport!!

Bought 2017 Mazda3 Touring 6 Speed Manual new. It now has 180k miles. Fun to drive, great on fuel, great handling (Way better than Toyota Corolla), more than enough technology including Android Auto & Apple Car Play, easy on maintenance, very reliable (More reliable than Toyota in my opinion)

Tons of leg room. Absolutely quiet while driving. I wish we would have found this van before. It allows for transporting and helping my family. Definitely well made.

Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

Love my new car I really love the touch screen that I have I never had one before also I love the space behind the cup holder is perfect enough for my phone…. I must admit I don’t know much about cars only the basic I brought my son when I was going to purchase this car oh and I love my black rims

Car is perfect for my needs. It is spacious and well designed. 9nly problem is the passenger airbag light activated when passenger seat is empty. Very annoying. You see it every time you look in your rear view mirror. Easy fix a piece of matte black masking tape.

Owned the car 5 months. Very happy with interior comfort and the stowing/storage space in the rear. The sound system is impressive. Took a little time to become accustomed to the entertainment system but I just needed experience. Good road handling in the winter. Practically no road noise. I appreciate the lane indicator features. Great small SUV

A joy to drive. The turbo gives a smooth punch of pickup. Don’t feel the speed! Interior is compact and efficient and steering wheel and seats warm up fast at the push of a button. An absolute pleasure to drive.
