This is my second CX-5. This first was a 2016 I bought in 2019 and loved tremendously and then it was totaled when I was rear-ended by someone texting and driving during Covid. I drove a sort of hand-me-down Jeep for a while during the weird Covid period when everything was uncertain but knew I wanted another CX-5 as soon as I felt financially comfortable. The car is extremely comfortable, handles well and has a beautiful streamlined and simply classic look. My partner who is a die-hard Mercedes snob even loves it!

I had the pleasure to have John Khalil as my sales agent, who happens to not only be a welcoming and zealous sales agent at CarMax of Oceanside, CA, but also a very talented painting artist!! He had great compassion for my autistic son and made sure he was always comfortable during the efficient waiting process by offering him a cute CarMax car toy, a CarMax coloring book and crayons. I haven't owned a 4 cylinder in a long time. I had a turbo 5 Volvo, a 6 cylinder accord, and a Mercedes c300 6 as my last three cars, then before that I owned a last model year RSX (2006, I wouldn't count the new ones) for a long time so that's the closest comparison to this. I think the RSX felt a bit more sporty (I didn't have the Type S), but as for power they're a pretty close match, and I bet the Mazda 3 would smoke it off the line with it's torque heavy engine. I think the RSX looked more sporty too, it had probably a more mature styling to it that I appreciate now even more than I did when I owned one, but I will say every time I look at my Mazda 3 I like it more and more. I've seen a thousand of these on the road and never had a strong opinion on them, but my girl in red keeps growing on me, and when I take the dog out for walks I circle the car and look it over and understand it more and more. I have a 2018 fully loaded GT, and the interior is mostly it's strongest positive. The facelifted w204 is easily the nicest looking interior I've ever been in, and the accord maybe the most comfortable, but this is incredibly close to the accord in terms of comfort and only lacking in slightly worse seats and less room. The seats are great though, but the 2012 accords were some of the best I've say in. The fake leather has a great balance of firm and give to it, and what's even better is the whole interior is wrapped in a similar nice synthetic material that's a joy to be wrapped in. I've never owned a car where my arms are supported on both sides in such a comfortable manner. I'm 6'1 so I keep my seat low but I feel like I have a good deal of room, in fact, I test drove a 2023 (gen 4) Mazda 3 that was an incredible price, about $800 off from my 2018 and even less miles but the new interior design is nowhere close to as good as what we get in the gen 3. You have almost no room to spread your legs out in the newer models and that's a deal breaker for me. The one major weakness of the 2018's interior is the tablet on top of the dash looks hideous. I think I mentioned earlier my model is fully loaded, and I mean it. But what's that mean, a premium sound system, some exterior trim pieces tacked on? Nope, here we have some genuinely cool features. Adaptive headlights that turn with the wheel, a heads up display that's projected on a piece of clear plastic that raises up when you start the engine and can show speed, road signs, blind spot info, next GPS heading, etc. We have automatic windshield wipers, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a great Bose sound system, paddle shifters. My car has more bells and whistles than my wife's high trim 2023 Tuscon. I really love my little Mazda, and I'm hoping to take it down some back roads to see if I can enjoy the driving part as much as some others do, as I've mostly spent time on the highway or in stop and go so far. This was a purchase I was unsure of 3 days ago when I made it, but every couple waking hours something pulls me to that car, whether to drive it or just to sit in it. I know now I've made a great choice.

I recently purchased a 2023 Accord EX and had assistance from Martin and Evan. Both of them were extremely helpful and negotiating the price was painless. I've seen a few negative reviews about bait-n-switch tactics and pressure on purchasing extended warranties. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. The ability to negotiate is a powerful tool and both Martin and Evan were very respectful throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this dealership and will definitely continue doing business with them in the future!

I had the car I wanted transferred in and from start to end they kept me informed. The waiting period was a bit of a bummer, but knowing that my car was arriving made it worth the wait. Ryan was super he completed the transaction and put us in good hands. We had a minor defect with the windows but Ryan made sure it was taken care of . Overall we were quite pleased. I bought my 2017 Mazda 6 Touring new, and have absolutely loved the car. It looks amazing, the interior feels like a much more expensive car. It's also fun to drive- agile, smooth, athletic. It's not a "fast" car per se, but it's fast enough, and has great chassis dynamics. It has been bulletproof, not a single issue with it. Gas mileage is quite good, too. The only criticism I have is that the original tires were too noisy. I switched to Michelin Pilot Sport 4 season, and they are much better.

This cars reliability blows me away, I’ve had it for 4 years now and used to drive from hood river to Portland like twice a week with it, so I threw a good 75k miles, driven very hard on it with zero problems other than regular maintenance. Just had to replace my brakes and serpentine belt at 73k

Pleased, I expected as a small car that the ride would be bumpy. It rides like a larger car. No under carriage noise. No window noise. Very important to me.

Evan was extremely helpful. I did not feel pressured in any way. He answered all my questions. Even though I did not buy a vehicle from them, I would still highly recommend there business and would not hesitate to check them out in the future to buy a car.

Interior design needs some help, but thats just my opinion. But the car itself drives great, handles really well and is an enjoyable, fun, drive

Bought this model in 2014 brand new, it's 10 years later, at 100K miles, still runs like new , only items done are maintenance so far.Tires, brakes, battery, wipers, etc. Has never been in the shop for anything else. Period.

My car issues have been resolved . The price was dropped down, I did wish they would of payed for the whole deal, but it is, what it is. The word integrity has been lost in today's world.

but I loved this 2018 Mazda 3 HB so much, I kept it for myself! We needed a hatchback with good mileage & reasonable insurance rates for our college bound daughter. We drove just about every low - mid range hatchback out there: Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra GT, VW Golf etc. The Mazda 3 was not even on our radar. We just happened to see one at a car lot while test driving a Honda Fit. We really liked the look, so we took it for a spin. It was fabulous! Now to be clear, I'm NOT your typical small car guy. I've been driving a Suburban & Ford Flex Limited for the past 20 years. But this little car blew me away. Much more comfortable than any of the others we'd driven. It seemed to have more power/speed. It handled like a dream. The brakes were super. The interior was so much nicer than the others & it was loaded with option like heated seats, BLIS, power leather driver seat, moonroof, back up cam, navigation and a crisp & loud Bose sound system. The road noise was minimal. We bought it on the spot & plan to buy another one - for her -soon. Absolutely love this car. I didn't care for the radio controls (by shifter) at first - but now I don't think I'd have it any other way. Just a great little car! Averaging 32mpg combined.

Excellent overall experience. Sales representative was not the most knowledgeable, but was very attentive. The facility was clean and sales did not apply pressure. Representative made several follow-up calls which were appropriate and helpful to my search.

Most reliable car in my 37 years of driving! NO problems. Biggest negative are brakes grabbing at parking lot speeds. Biggest positive 39 mpg average. I had software upgraded and replaced USB module from Walmart for Android auto and Apple carplay

I love my Mazda 2016 grand touring CX-5. It has been a very reliable vehicle. Cruise control operates perfectly. Great Bose sound system. I wish it got better gas mileage. Not impressed with the navigation system! I am not happy at all with the exterior paint or interior carpeting!

Living in Orlando, you know it’s kinda hard not to have a car to get you from place to place, especially when you are trying to juggle work, school, and personal life. As a person who works in the medical field, and having to be around patients on a daily basis, be at church twice a week, and as a nursing student, be able to get to my classes, and Clinical’s in a timely manner, it’s kind of hard not having a car to be able to do the things that I need to do. So I went onto my company’s website and saw that we had an opportunity to purchase a car through offlease Orlando, and I have been praying since February 2024 to get a Mazda CX-5, and when I saw they had two available. I called and spoke with Briana the BDC Rep who was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and showed her eagerness to assist me, she made sure that I received a text and email to remind me of my appt and my sales rep. When I got to the dealership, I met with Orlando who was one of my sales reps, and he was partnered with Jarid who into the office showed, showed me around, explain to me how the process was going to go since this was my first vehicle purchase, and they really made me feel welcomed. As one of the cars was already sold, the one that I really wanted it was actually here still and just waiting for me to call it mine and take it home. I test drove the car and the car ran perfect no issues, I had a Carfax and it really was just perfect for me. The process of purchasing the car was smooth, easy, and didn’t take no time at all. Not to sound stereotypical but it was an easy hassle free car buying experience. Everyone was great, car was ready to look at and test drive, no trucks or gimmicks.

I have the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. The car is beautiful, sports mode is great for picking up speed on the highway, the app is great and it has all the features I wanted in a great price- sunroof, remote start, leather seats, etc. Drawbacks: Backseat: Car seat does not have as much room in the back (I knew this prior to purchasing, but I didn't think it would be that bad. Unfortunately I do wish it had more leg room especially as my 5 year old continues to grow). Tire pressure is not displayed inside the vehicle. This has already impacted me when I had a blow out on the highway, I had no idea my tire was losing air. Other than these factors, I am happy with my purchase.

We bought our Mazda new after getting lemon law money back from a Ford Fiesta Fiasco. We love our Mazda and have had zero issues with it. At 107K miles now and runs great. We've only ever had to do normal maintenance on it and she still runs and looks great.

I feel very very proud when behind the wheel of my 2016 Mazda 6 Sport and driving it on highways! With record 35,650 miles, it drives very smooth and very efficient. It’s reliability and looks is what makes it a perfect car of my taste. Drive one and feel for yourself!

I'm still orginal 2006 owner.Great little mousee Everyone loves the orginal color.Color name kept private. Lots of wanna buyers.I don't want to let it go because of issue one problem.. this start of yr.noticed fluid leak from transmission its rear main seal,instead of replacing this part, it's highly possible gonna replace whole rebuilt transmission.Thinking of not replace rmseal because engine and transmission may have to come down and would have to pay twice, We don't think will owe another mazda reason no transmission dip stick and can't check your fluid like we have oil dipstick.You would have to go in pay for fluid fill up n pay for gasket plus labor

I purchased my 2013 Mazda 3i Grand Touring Hatchback (manual transmission) in 2014 and the previous owner had put 30K miles on it. I've now got 140K and still love the car. Outside of recommended maintenance, the only repair expense I've had was I decided to replace the clutch. It hadn't failed but it was starting to show some slippage. I haven't even had to replace the brake pads yet! As for likes and dislikes that someone checking out this car might not notice just from looking, here are some negatives: 1) The 1-2 shift is always a bit notchy but others are smooth. 2) The 2.0L doesn't have a lot of power in the lower revs but 3000-4000 rpms it's pretty spirited (assuming you don't have four large adults in the car) 3) I ended up replacing the OEM headunit (the BOSE with Navigation) with an Eonon. I had issues getting the Eonon working early on but after a couple updates, it's been a huge improvement. 4) The biggest negative is that at some point, I'll have to let it go. On the positive side: 1) It handles great, 2) It carries a decent amount for its size 3) It gets good gas mileage (I used to average 35mpg but in recent years my driving in this car has been more around town and it's fallen back to 31-32.) 4) It's been extremely reliable. 5) The front seats are very comfortable (I'm 5'7" and the car fits me great. I imagine taller people would not be as comfortable.)

Tyler and his manager were very helpful in assisting me with the purchase of the 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. However, if you plan on using your DCAP grant or the Federal EV rebate, do not go to their sister company, Subaru. Subaru is not participating in these programs. It appears AutoNation Mazda Carlsbad is the only dealership in the area that accepts both of these programs.

Great car for everyday use that doesn't break the bank. I get under 6.5 liters per 100 kilometers after religiously monitoring fuel consumption for almost 50,000 kilometers. For a 2.0 gasoline engine, that's quite an achievement. The car also proved to be reliable on long trips, offering plenty of luggage space and a comfortable ride. The only annoying thing is the interior noise when driving on the highway.
