Bought a used Mazda, got a fair deal, folk there were pleasant, professional and helpful. Would definitely buy a car from them again. Process was efficient and as good as it could be.

We were loyal Subaru owners previously but were forced to look at other car makers when the 2025 forester had problems and recalls. The 2025 Mazda cx-5 was the most similar car, with no recalls or issues. We were pleased with the price and ready availability, made the jump from Subaru and haven't looked back. We owned several Subaru's previously and never had any issues with them - our most recent was fifteen years old. As retirees, the new safety features like the backup screen and warnings for blind spots are terrific. I just hope the Mazda proves to be as problem-free. Also, the Mazda CX-5 was highly rated by our insurance co. and lowered the cost of our insuring our new car.

This was the first time I purchased a vehicle on my own and it was a very quick and smooth experience for me. Previously we have owned a 2016 Mazda Hatchback with the 2.0 liter engine and manual transmission. Our biggest complaint with that car was the lack of power. We were not expecting a performance car, but the 2 liter engine in that car was just anemic. My wife didn't feel safe trying to pull out into traffic. We recently purchased a 2024 Mazda 3 Premium with 2.5 liter engine and manual transmission. While still not feeling like a sports car (it is not one) it does have considerably more torque than the 2016 we owned previously. Things we like about the 2024 model: - the bump in power - fuel economy - the interior. the seats are somewhat firm, but comfy. The dash is nicely layed out - the buttons on the console are useful - heater/AC controls are buttons and knobs - easy to use - the heater fan! We have had several Mazdas, and the fan has always been underpowered. the fan in this car is adequate - two driver settings that will put the seat in the correct position, as well as let you set the brightness of the heads up display - seat heaters Things we don't like: - auto sensing wipers. the only way to use the intermittent wipers is with the 'auto' setting, and it operates properly only intermittently at best - the door for the gas filler. it is not difficult, but if you don't know how to do it, you may need to google (what I had to do at the gas station) - Fully electric parking brake - I would prefer a manually operated brake. - The pedal area is somewhat narrow. I have somewhat wide feet, so I have to keep that in mind, as some shoes make driving cumbersome. The reliability question was required, which is a rather lame requirement when one has owned a car for a month. I gave it 3 stars as I have no idea yet as to the reliability.

From the inquiry to the purchase …by far this was the most pleasant auto purchase I have experienced. I live out of state and had faith in the dealership after my first contact with them. Doug answered all my questions and went out of his way to make the purchase a positive experience. Though I live out of state, I will definitely contact them if I am ever in the need for another automobile. I appreciated their professional manner along with their personal touch in the way my car purchase was handled. 😏

I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

I love my 2018 Mazda CX-5 to absolutely no end! I have a blast driving it, and it is my first car. I have the Touring FWD model, but it does NOT skimp out on features, it has blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, back-up camera, Automatic Emergency Braking, airbags EVERYWHERE, and whole plethora of other safety features. It is very quick, reliable, and fun to drive. My only complaint is there is not much in the way of cabin storage. But it is not a deal breaker, since the trunk of the car has a large cargo area, and lots of room in the spare tire area. It has an amazing Bose speaker system and I was given this car for my birth day at about 30k miles, but it was purchased new. I have FWD (Front wheel drive) but it still does amazing in conditions like rain, and minor snow. It is also the only car from this segment that placed a good rating on the IIHS Crash Test. It is often on par with luxury brands like BMW and Mercedes but having the advantage of being half the cost and Japanese so it lasts forever and also since it's not German, the repairs won't cost a house mortgage. However, if you get a 2018, make sure you get an updated Navigation SD Card. I cannot recommend this car enough, it is perfect in nearly everyway. I am now a loyal Mazda customer, and will always have a Mazda in my garage, I trust them more than any other automaker. Perks: Large backseat (I am 6'1 and can for the most part fit comfortably in the back) Fun to drive Fuel efficient Safety Feature galore Reliable and cheap to maintain Excellent use of space Cons: If I had to choose, not as much cabin storage as I want, but I want more than the average person.

We looked at Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Mazda and selected the Mazda CX-5. Honda and Toyota have priced themselves out of the middle-class budget, and Nissan’s Achilles Heel is their very brittle CVT transmission. Mazda is by far the best-looking, has AWD as standard equipment (a $1,200 to $1,500 option on other brands), easy-to-read gauges and dash, nice sound system, soft-touch dash and doors usually found only on “premium” brands, the best price, and the most beautiful factory color on the road: Soul Red. Our family has owned vehicles from all 5 companies, and have been totally happy with our problem-free CX-3. Anyone looking to buy a compact crossover should consider the CX-5.

I bought my 2023 CX-5 Premium Plus back in March and haven’t regretted my choice since. I love this car! Took awhile to acclimate to the infotainment selection dial, but now that I have, it’s easy to use. The interior design and component selection are impeccable. The handling and acceleration (for a 4 cylinder) are also very impressive. Only con is the limited cargo space.

My experience was carefree and I never felt pressured. My salesperson made the buying experience fun.

I did an extensive research on Japanese SUV’s and I kept coming back to the Mazda CX5. This vehicle is beautiful inside and out and is amazingly smooth and quiet. It also has really good handling and plenty of power even with the 4 cylinder. I think Mazda gives the best bang for the buck of all the Japanese car brands. I highly recommend the Mazda CX5.

Very comfortable, drives great, awful entertainment system. Instead of touch screen there is a dial you turn to select radio, Waze, basically everything for screen. It's difficult. Dial doesn't move smoothly and you wind up looking down and giving so much attention, you can get in an accident. If your not a person to use different apps in car then it's great otherwise get a vehicle with touch screen.

This is my third car purchase from CAR MAX . A later model for the wife . A jeep Cherokee and is a 2019 with low mileage . She is happy and that makes US happy . The purchase was not hurried and no back and forth between Mr Smith and I . Really straightforward . Satisfied completely .

Test drove a used 2019 CX-5 two days ago and loved it. However, the exterior had a number of scratches and no sunroof, which is a must. Came home, looked online and found an immaculate 2018 CX-5 with only 31K miles at a Mazda dealer 70 miles away. Test drove it this morning and brought it home this afternoon. Smooth acceleration, quiet cabin, absorbs bumps nicely. Feels like driving a much more expensive care. Touring model gives you all the features you would expect in a much more expensive car. Looking forward to many years of driving comfort and enjoyment. PS Took a very critical friend with me to check out the car, and he had nothing but praise for it.

Most reliable car in my 37 years of driving! NO problems. Biggest negative are brakes grabbing at parking lot speeds. Biggest positive 39 mpg average. I had software upgraded and replaced USB module from Walmart for Android auto and Apple carplay

I bought the 2016 Mazda 3 with manual transmission brand new. Since then I've driven 280,000 miles through new York City traffic . I've just change my original clutch at 278000 . Most reliable car ever owned!

Well I am really not sure this is legal but Mazda and many other manufacturers charge you monthly for an app that controls the vehicle. Remote start etc. I purchased this vehicle and I'm sure they already charged me in the purchase price for all the options it has. How can they charge me $10 a month for the rest of the years I own this vehicle just so I can remote start and see other information about the vehicle? It is like I sell you a kitchen and after a year if you want to open the doors you have to pay monthly for an app to do it. This is totally ridiculous and a scam. Say Mazda or any other car manufacturers sell 20,000,00 cars and all the people that bought them pay $10 a month to use the app they make an additional $200,000,000 for just use of the app. Well this is in my mind an absolute tragedy and should be illegal. Shame on them and all car manufacturers. I found an option to fix this. It still should not be this bad but anything to not pay these corrupt people any money. I found an aftermarket kit to fix this permanently for just over two years of monthly payments. It is called Startz, you can purchase on Amazon and install yourself. Good Luck

Bought the CX-90 in early Feb. 2024 and immediately drove across the country and back. No issues at all. After 4,000 miles, the actual performance was consistent with all of the video reviews. Very comfortable interior with high end feel.Apple Car Play worked seamlessly with GPS system Waze. Hands free controls was smooth and prompt. PHEV experience was solid. Love the charging prioritization feature while driving. Takes about 2 hours on the highway to reach a full charge so that at destination you can operate on EV mode. At home, Level 1 charge takes about 10 hours (overnight) Wish the 26 mile EV range was more like 50 but maybe in future models. Combined MPG with 98% highway driving on the road trip was 25.5 mpg. Overall, so far so good. Vey happy with the purchase.

Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

I had a terrific experience buying a new/used car from Mohamad Rahal recently at Jeff Haas Mazda, 16711 Katy Freeway, Houston TX 77094. I had just been burned by two other dealerships that did not hold the car for me until I got to their dealerships to negotiate a purchase of the car I wanted to buy - the 1st dealership I called I said I would be there in +/- 3 hours and the 2nd dealership I called I said I will be there in +/- 20 minutes. When I arrived at both dealerships they both told me they have "bad news and good news". The bad news is they just sold the car I asked them to hold me and the good news is they can sell me another car - at both of these dealerships they were young inexperienced salesman. Mohomad is an experienced professional and has been in the car industry for decades and does business "the old fashioned way". Mohamed held the car for me I wanted to buy until I got all my financing in order to pay cash for the car. Mohamed clearly explained each line item on the "Vehicle Buyer's Order" and also the additional lifetime engine warranty I purchased. I love my CX30. Only a few very minor complaints. The back seat is small. I would only recommend it for small children. Since i'm the only user, it doesn't really apply to me. The car overall is small, which makes it easier to maneuver and more fun to drive than larger CX models. I'm 6'3 tall and have no problem fitting in the driver's seat - plenty of head and leg room. The other complaint is the small gas tank (under 13 gallons). Even though, I don't regret buying my CX30. It's a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend not looking at any trim level lower than premium due to all the options the premium includes. I opted for the non-turbo. It's fast enough without it, and was 3K less.

I would recommend this car for a single individual, maybe as a commuter or a teenage driver. I wouldn’t recommend for growing families. Four adults will not fit comfortably, it’s just too small. I wish I would have got the CX-70 but they’re just too expensive.

I am very happy with my purchase. I already owned a 2018 CX-5 and it never gave me any problems so I had no qualms about purchasing another Mazda. I went with the CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus for the horsepower and the extra perks (i.e. automatic folding mirrors, and I like that the side mirrors also turn down to see the curb when parking, front AND rear cameras, panoramic sun/moonroof, speed display in windshield, heated and ventilated cooling seats, and a 12-speaker Bose Stereo system). I love the extra power of the Turbocharged engine that my CX-5 doesn't have. The things I don't care for: 1) the retractable cargo cover (a $250 addl charge) doesn't attack to the lift (like my CX-5 does. It's much more convenient if it's attached so there's no pulling it out each time you need to put something in the trunk; 2) I don't like that I have to turn off the automatic shut off of the engine at stops and that I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. I'd like there to be an option to turn it off indefinitely unless and until I want to turn it on; 3) I would also love it if the driver and front passenger seats raised a bit higher. I'm not short but I would feel more comfortable if the seat height lifted another couple of inches. Overall, I really love my car. The steering is tight and the ride is more comfortable than I expected, and the inside of the cab is quiet and the stereo is premium. The seats are attractive with the light colored stitching to accent the seats. Because of all the features in my model, I got a lot of bang for my buck as opposed to a more expensive car costing $20K more for all the same features with Mazda reliability as well as more reasonable/affordable maintenance costs. I had a BMW several years ago and, once out of warranty, the maintenance is ridiculously costly. Additionally, the service department at the dealership where I purchased my car is top notch and the transparency for maintenance is appreciated! In the last 7 years of owning a Mazda, I have never had a bad experience.
