Mclaren Philadelphia has been one of the most amazing experiences of my automotive acquisition decisions. Although I am still working on several options one vehicle that is available for sale at Mclaren Philadelphia is in my top three. Mr. Ron Ecton. 2013 with 10K miles. Orange with $40K in carbon upgrades, including seats. Dealer maintained. Perfect used condition. Incredible performance. Well balanced at the limits. Excellent driving position except that mirror is too low for taller driver - partical block of forward view and unable to properly adjust. Comfortable (carbon) seats, although less padding and unheated. Controls laid out well. Impressive fuel economy at 65-70 that falls off rapidly with higher speeds or acceleration bursts. Under hood is very hot, even on mild days, radiating heat and off-gassing. Bluetooth interface has to be relaunched with each start and difficult to switch between users. Radar detector is obnoxious - still trying to figure out how to turn off. Highly recommend checking lithium battery condition prior to purchase - replacement is $7K. Moderate road noise with some carbon fiber chassis creaking on rougher roads. Stiffly sprung so poor roads/construction are a bit jolting. Oddly, only one illumination from headlights - can't toggle between low and bright. Have been flashed so they might be on bright all the time. Hate to think of diagnosis/repair cost. Surprisingly inexpensive to insure. Overall, this is an incredible vehicle for the money whose body shape seems timeless.

The dearlership & salesman, Scott Evans were the best I've worked with since dealing with, buying & selling cars since 1972. They first gave me nearly the same amount I paid for my Mclaren 570GT in trade-in. Just prior to final purchase, the dealership provided over $9,000 of changes & improvements to the $256,000 Mclaren 720S I bought from them including, replacing two door lifting hydraulic shocks without any requests or prodding from me AND at no cost to me. After purchase & we had returned home with the 720, I found a small chip in the paint on the front hood of the car. They coordinated the repair with two specialty paint/body shops for the 4-part Mclaren paint. They said the dealership would cover the cost of a spot repair if it worked, but it would cost about $3,300 if the shop had to paint the entire hood. The body shop was not satisfied with the spot repair and proceeded to paint the entire hood. When I picked the car up, Scott told me everything was free of charge. The paint job was perfect in every way. The dealership gave us some accessories like hats, shirts & a 18 inch x 4 inch Mclaren logo to apply to the windshield - also free of charge. They stay in touch with me and include me in invites to owner gatherings & displays at the dealership and road rallies with other Mclaren owners. They are the best I've ever seen.
