After a long day of disappointing experiences at other dealerships, I was ready to cancel my appointment at Carcatle. Thankfully, my wife encouraged me to follow through—and I’m so glad I did. Overall, I love the sporty feel and looks. Power train a bit quirky at very low speed. For instance, coasting in traffic or approaching a light about to turn green it’s a bit of a jerk when you accelerate. Oh, and don’t DARE put your left foot near the brake pedal at slow speed or while maneuvering to park. This honey does NOT like a two footed driver! It is too slow to reengage the accelerator, and when it does reengage, it surges, as in lurching it into to the back wall of the garage. Not what I expect from Mercedes. Externally, the exhaust sounds powerful and authoritative but from inside sounds a bit tinny. My advice, drive it hard with one foot and it’s a blast, turning sharply at speeds and accelerating through curves and confident braking available. Probably has more road noise and bump feel than S class Mercedes models, which is by design And budget I suppose. Overall, just plain fun to drive.

Excellent vehicle. Great mix of value, performance, comfort and looks. I've had 2 Audis and a Mercedes in the past and this is by far my favorite of them all. I am able to fit a baby seat in the back and it's a little smaller than I'd like but it's perfect for what I need. There are also a lot of after market performance mods for those that are interested.

I am a retired law enforcement officer who has driven most of the top rated vehicles of the last fifty years both as personal and issued vehicles. I also have had a long love affair with the top foreign and domestic cars of these decades. My new 19 AMG GLC43 Biturbo AWD is the best in every category. Its got Adaptive cruise, Auto Parking, both front and rear alerts and cameras, 9 speeds trans and as much HP and Torque out of a V6 as I used to get out of a big block V8. Its very comfortable on trips, (I am 6'4") has adequate gas mileage and the handling is phenomenal . All this doesn't come cheap but its a great deal compared to the exotics and has excellent maintenance at the Benz dealers. This car will not disappoint you in any way.
