I'd like to preface this review with, we are from out of state and depended on reviews while shopping for our vehicle and we were prepared to walk away at anytime. I have driven an S Class Mercedes since 1995. I have not owned anything else. This 2023 S 580 4matic is amazing. With four wheel steering, turns are tighter than you predict. The performance is more than I can handle today and more than adequate. Interior, comfort and exterior are all within my normal Mercedes expectations. After driving this vehicle for 30 years, I am not sure I can accept LESS. Most any vehicle is accepting LESS. I also own a 2020 Range Rover Sport supercharged V8. Just as impressive but not as comfortable. The S Class is what all other vehicle manufacturers are typically chasing to "meet". I have test driven many comparable cars, but none worth buying.

Words cannot BEGIN to describe the incredible experience I had with Jabir! I just picked up my S580 Lux-Line in Emerald Green over Sienna Brown, and I am absolutely thrilled with the purchase. I have owned five S-Class models since 2010, including this new one, and I can say this is the best iteration yet from an overall perspective. While I still think the W222 was the best-looking (especially my 2019 S560 with the refreshed look and AMG pack), this new one does not disappoint at all. The Emerald Green is stunning in the sunlight, my favorite color yet. And the interior is on another level from a luxury and tech standpoint. I loved the interiors of all the S-Class models I've owned, but this current one is my favorite. The seats are super supportive, and the vast amount of tech is amazing. The new infotainment screen takes time to learn and get used to, but I feel the "Hey, Mercedes" function makes doing small things like putting in a Navigation request easier than going through the main screen. From a driving perspective, the ride is the best yet, just like gliding on a cloud. I've been lucky to have driven Bentley's and Rolls-Royce's in my lifetime, and this ride is as close as I've seen the S-Class come to being even with those vehicles on this front. And, the V8 is plenty punchy when needed, so it can be a fun vehicle to take on windy roads if you so desire. Overall, a wonderful vehicle and a bargain when you compare it to the other super-luxury vehicles on sale. I'm looking forward to the next few years of owning such an awesome car.

It's an 2023 S-class Mercedes. That pretty much says it all. The fact the it is also a Plug in Hybrid just makes it even better. Plug in at home and you will hardly ever need to buy gas. Plus it is so smooth running on electric that you will love the car even more. Best one I have owned and I have been driving these since 1998.

I am a direct and fairly grumpy person by nature, they weren't phased one bit and didn't try to distract me while I looked over the vehicle, let my partner and I have space to discuss the pros and cons privately. My new S-580 e has been nothing but spectacular in terms of its design, comfort and driving experience. It is probably the quietest car I have ever owned and there is no hesitation when accelerating from a stop or driving up a steep hill! Also, as a "e" model, it also operates in either full electric, hybrid or gas only modes, so the range is great!

Inspection was done quickly. Did not have to wait long, brought in the car and was out in half an hour.

I have owned 6 S Class (SonderKlas) cars in my life and each and every single one has been problem free and a pure joy to own, drive, and admire. The 2021 S580 however.. Well this car is truly something special and not an incremental upgrade! This thing is crazy

Mr. Tate was very professional and we liked him a lot. Good story and set-up to buy tire/rim package. Lots of pressure to buy that. Got us with one key upon leaving after transaction was done. Keys usually run around 500.00 and can be negotiated, so watch out for that. It was not disclosed to us that the car came with one key! That was a miss in our part and we should have known better. Because of having only one key it hinders me from using BMW ID as you need both keys for that. Overall, happy with the car.

I had reached out to several car dealers regarding Mercedes and BMWs and Rodni was the first to respond. Luxury at its best, you can’t get better than that with this price range. S 580 is the way to go, the 8 cylinders are so smooth yet so sporty. This car can be Rolls Royce luxury and lamborghini urus if it wants

In trading in my 2019 s560e for the 2023 s580e. This is a unique vehicle and the use case for it is unusual - as the battery in the 2019 only had 19 miles of charge but, over the 3 years I had it averaged around 60 mpg. I didn't have any appreciable issues with it, but didn't drive it much - under 5000 miles a year, it was not my only vehicle and I work from home. The 2023 is far superior in interior comfort vs it's predecessor. I don't like the grill and lights as much, but the ride comfort power, and efficiency of the power plants are amazing. In my first 500 miles - averaging over 130mpg. The battery is 60 miles - give or take. Now, unless you have a charger at home, or home and work, that are free to use or truly inexpensive - this is where you can shellacked. Charging stations are a huge rip off -- they are so expensive - when you do the math, the same amount of fuel to get the same number of miles is equal to near $20 a gallon, if my math is correct - and it is. So, long distance in this car - isn't practical at all. It's for around town - small commute - less than 50 miles EACH way, again if you have charging at home and you have solar to produce your own electricity, or the cost is way higher than gas. This car is a very unique use case.... and if you aren't this use case - the car isn't practical. But, it sure does ride nice and the interior is off the hook, mine is fully loaded - and that says alot for an S class.

Full size 4 door sedan with lots of room and a cloud style ride. Performance. Just hit the pedal of this 500 and hold on. I have had 8 Mercedes Benz, and this one is a super car as the rest were. You can find a low mileage one in great shape for a fraction of the original sticker. I like to let someone else absorb the depreciation. Just be careful to buy a hand picked, cherry picked one.
