I mistakenly sold my 2012 E350 in 2023 thinking I should upgrade to an SUV. I regretted selling the wagon, though the 2020 MB GLB was a very nice vehicle. So I found a 2011 E350 wagon and couldn't been happier. Maintenance is key, yes. But the leather (not MBTex) wears very well, and the exterior is flawless.

I bought this to replace an aging Audi A6. Wanted similar luxury, safety, and tech in a bit of a smaller vehicle. While I got what I was searching for, there is definitely a significant change in the luxurious feel in the ride. My 2019 Audi definitely had a more lush and comfortable feel. This E class is a 4cyl TC while the Audi was a 6cyl. I know that make a big difference on power. This E class is not under-powered, it's just that the Audi was a beast. If I had to make the purchase again, I'd get the 6cyl E450.

I have a 2018 E400 Cabriolet. It is a great car. We use this car for the summer and for driving vacations. Mileage is very good,30mpg on the highway. Can not stress the comfort enough great road car, smooth ride, quiet, great handling, and cornering. Very nice styling and beautiful interior great sound system, heads up display, virtual dash is customizable with many options. A real pleasure to own and drive. a pleasure to drive.

These cars are very very reliable, the engine gives the driver of power over and stability over most other cars, the car is very quiet considering the 300 eye popping, seat of the pants performance, the E class makes you feel like a spell person, and you would be if you bought one today.

However, the first man who didn?t want to sell me the car and wasn?t willing to do anything to make sure my family was satisfied has no place in this dealership. Cesar Valdez was able to assist us with arranging our car repair, and then went above and beyond to help us get the car back in time before we had to travel. He provided frequent updates and answered all of our questions at any time. Have had my C63 for just under a year now and no issues to report thus far. The ride is what you’d expect from a sport tuned car, stiff for sure but not unforgivable. The interior looks fantastic from the drivers seat and everything feels and looks of quality built, I will say however that if you use the sunglasses holder it causes a most maddening rattling in the car. Other then that I wish the cup holders offered a bit more grip as I hate things moving around while driving. The rear seating area only has the 2 vents with no other accessory ports or climate control. The exterior styling is excellent and I love the aggressive stance and contours that make it stand out easily from your standard C class. The black AMG wheels look great especially like mine with the silver paint and carbon fiber trims however, be ready to spend at least once a week doing a deep clean of those wheels because the brake dust is relentless. Also I wish it was just a bit lower in the rear. Finally the performance: this car will absolutely put a smile on your face everytime, I am always surprised as to the noises I get from that AMG exhaust. The emotion start feature is great too for when you want people to know, this ain’t your aunts C250. I absolutely love the angry burbles, cracks, and rumbles of that exhaust. The engine is poised and mild mannered in comfort settings and becomes an angry high reving monster in the sport modes, I like that it has sport and sport+ also for that extra and in between rush you’re looking for. I personally like the nice heavy feel to the steering wheel and it’s extremely tempting to not want to whip the xxx around at every turn. It does take some getting used to at the corners to avoid looking crazy with unexpected wheel spin. Ive yet to do a proper launch on it since I’ve still been getting used to it, being my first RWD car. Overall this is an incredible machine that will always remind you why you bought it. I feel almost smug driving this around as it gets plenty of compliments and of course hate from your local mustang/mopar boys.

Compared this to the classic 300SL is all you can do for the value may stay for your lifetime I!this used one is probably same price as when new. A beater 300sl goes for this price plus a 300,000 restoration! For a 6 cylinder no AC car that you’ll never drive!

I have had weekend cars for some years now. Started with BMW M3 (E46 competition package), moved to Porsche 911 turbo (997.1 with 6-sp), then 2015 Nissan GTR (I truly enjoyed that car) and I am on the 2018 MB AMG GTR now. I drive them only during late Spring, Summer and store them from October to April. I keep them for 2-4 summers, then move on. MB AMG GTR is the next level. It is starting to encroach into exotic car territory. Lots of attention. It is a race focused machine and by far the most uncomfortable sport car I have owned so far. But that is a good thing. Engine is at the moment one of the best in the business. Sounds awesome. It is a tricky car to drive fast so one has to be a bit more careful when compared to Nissan GTR/Porsche 911 turbo or even Porsche 911 GT3. I had a rear light failure within the first 4k miles. Fixed under warranty. Entertainment system is a bit old. In general I would say this car is worth the money.

Without a doubt, the R129 SL falls short of the much larger, more comfortable, and better optioned W140 S-coupe. Yet, the smaller Merc is actually more fun and more nimble. The SL actually has a sports mode on its transmission which makes it noticeably quicker. On the other hand, the S500 has the quad-cam engine (against a twin-cam engine in the SL) and that, too, is noticeable! The S500 seems to handle better, (and likely has a more complex suspension?) While they are different cars, there are many similarities as well, and most of my friends do not even know I purchased another car (both cars are arctic white.) They'll know soon enough when the weather warms up and the top comes off? :D Which car do I prefer? I think short, in-town trips are more fun in the SL, though anything long-distance, and I'd be crazy not to opt for the S500 coupe. (Did I mention that the SL also gets better mileage?) One final bit; the SL only carries two-adults, and maybe a smaller person behind the front seats? The S-coupe can comfortably carry 4-to-5 people, and the back seats are very, VERY comfortable! Around 23,000 SL's were made (1999-to-2002,) and only about 1,300 S-coupe's were made in 1995.
