I must say when I first purchased the vehicle it handled very smoothly now when I took it to get the smoke smell out it drive like the new parts were taken out so I have to take it back to the dealership and get another car and have it inspected. This is the 2nd SL class I've owned, so ill try to keep this objective. These are state of the art vehicles with features way ahead of their time. They are built straight forward and repairs can be undertaken by the owner more than one would think. If you can find one in a salvage yard, you can learn how things come apart with little risk of damaging your own. The value of the experience sometimes outweighs the time it takes to learn. If that makes any sense... This car is easy to love, who wouldn't? Neck breaking acceleration, sexy good looks, the way it cradles its occupants, and surrounds them with luxury appointments unmatched by other maker's offerings. The feel is rock solid at the wheel and pedals, despite how heavy the car feels. More than enough ponies, to confidently pass or merge, and brakes that could stop a semi-tractor. The gauges are well placed, and logical information comes at your finger tips with the multi-function steering wheel. The cockpit seating seems to have an Infinite number of positions, and the easy exit feature will undoubtedly preserve the leather of the lumbar lobe. Controls are semi-ergo friendly; however the roll bar and hard top controls would be better positioned anywhere besides directly under your elbow. Concealing the roll bar up/down switches beneath the top control, does not demonstrate forethought by MB engineers. Driving the car is truly exhilarating, top up or top down. The sound remains with BOSE, and a disc changer allows for more choice. Staggered wheels are staple with the MB roadster, and improved with 35/40 series width adding to the nimble agility already demonstrated by the car. So... What's to hate? Depreciation! I feel sorry for the 1st owners of an SL. At the same time i envy that they can take it in stride. If it were not for these brazen buyers, i would never be able to afford this car. Repairs and failures... Fortunately, I've got advanced wrenching ability or this car would keep me in hock up to my neck. Although the hard top is a mastery of elegance in motion, it is delicate and prone to failure. The deck lid/boot cover/trunk lid, can present quite a challenge when, (not if), the latch fails. There is literally no way to get at the repair w/o creating damage in the course of gaining access to the latch assembly. I ended up designing and fabricating a tool that can reach the manual release levers from the rear of the cockpit. This body style incorporates a fuel cel that has an internal problem. A baffle becomes disconnected and creates an obnoxious clunk at the storage bulkhead. The fix is said to call out 18+ hours of tech time to remedy. (Ouch!) The bottom line is: you take the good with the bad, and hope that you can DIY when the time comes for repair. Till that time...enjoy the love.

While getting groceries out of my car, My trunk came down on my head (C-300, 2017). Sometimes trunk opens after I lock the car. This is dangerous. What is the problem?

We have owned our 2015 for two years now - got her used from a family member with about 55k miles. The car is comfortable, fast, huge, and gets great mileage for its size and weight - about 21mpg with a mix of city of highway miles and I'm shocked by that. This is the year they put the 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 in the GL450 - not sure what other years they did, but I highly recommend this engine. V6's are often marketed as having V8 power when they really don't, but this one absolutely has V8 power. It even sounds like a V8. You can certainly feel the car's heft on turns in country roads, but it weighs basically 3 tons fully loaded. It feels very safe and is super quiet inside - build quality is superb. It feels like a fast, luxury tank. I love it and I'm going to drive it as long as I possibly can.

We traded in two Lexus cars for one new one. Serigne did an awesome job handling the complex transaction. He and the dealership management gave us a deal we felt good about. This is not our first purchase from Lexus Rivercenter and we will likely return. It’s the best Lexus dealer in the region.

Had two issues; Evaporator Core had to be replaced ($4k) and the drivers seat (Mtex) ripped two times and appears to be ready to rip again. The evaporator core failed when the car was 4 years old. It is a common problem. Recommend anyone with this vehicle purchase an extended warranty. Also, the front brakes only last for 25K miles. They are very soft and very expensive (dealer cost to replace $1,200, DIY is $250).

Its weird to read bad reviews on this car, specifically the sl55. Im on my third one. All used. My latest purchase was October 2019. a 2004 sl55. daily driver. I am second owner. Top up and down every day. 95 south Miami traffic and heat. She's been perfect. You just need to find one that the service was kept . The suspension is only a problem when neglected. and now with all the parts and certified techs (private) its a $4,000 fix. Or , do like some others and go coil over for under a grand. I would get in mine and drive anywhere with out any hesitation.

I bought this vehicle is a retirement car. He moves great is responsive and very smooth. I wanted a retirement car for my retirement. I am 60 years old and I want that something that represent my current status with luxury interiors, beautiful blue color, and 20 inch wheels it is awesome looking. I can reach 70 in the blink of an eye any moves like it's going at 30 or 40 miles an hour. He has an awesome radio system. although it is not all digital, the radios are for listening. I have an excellent sound, System. Great interiors, great materials, great lighting if you're planning to buy a GLS the 450 is definitely one of your best choices.

They are pretty great, really. The car I went to look at didn't work out, but it was still a good experience. I kinda felt bad that I couldn't buy something from them. If you're looking for something, particularly on a budget, it's worth stopping in.

This does NOT refer to either my dealer's sales or service departments, both of which are excellent. But I have to relate that a life-of-the-car part, the steering control module, failed at only 8,500 miles, and as luck would have it, just after the new car warranty expired. It required two visits and over $1400 to repair. I've not heard anything from Mercedes about even a partial reimbursement- not that I really expect anything.

this may be a bit lengthy, but i think it’s important to give all of my opinion. i was looking for a 2015 or newer 1/2-ton full size pickup. they had several on their lot. i ended up with a 2019 ram 1500 classic big horn. i went here because they had a large variety of vehicles but specifically because they had the truck i wanted at the price i was looking to pay. i initially made contact with jesus, but finished with myron. they were both friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. a++ to both them and all of the staff i had contact with. i waited a couple weeks to write this review because i wanted time to see if any previously unidentified issues popped up with the vehicle and i can confidently say that it has run very well & i have had NO PROBLEMS with it. the pros: large selection of quality cars very easy to work with accommodating to my needs/requests above & beyond with cooperation and negotiation. no high pressure sales or multitudes of “add-ons” carfax included, plus they had a long history of maintenance records on the vehicle that they attached (prior to signing) the cons: beware of the “55 point inspection”. my mechanic found a few things that should have been caught during the inspection. so either they missed them or they didn’t consider them immediate enough to fix. (totally fair, i have no problem with that.). there was one not-quite-major-but-significant issue identified but we worked that out to my 100% satisfaction. (make sure you get an independent opinion on ANY used car you are looking to buy no matter where you get it. it’s a good practice.) the bottom line, aka tl;dr so would i buy another car from them in the future. yes, i absolutely would buy from them again. if you are looking for a good quality vehicle at a fair price, i recommend you at least go see what they have to offer.

2012 C250 Coupe summer 2014 CPO purchase. Odometer read 23000 mile as I wrote a check for $2500. Now at 42,000 miles this beautiful Iridium Silver coupe has one repair issue (ESL) It's the best looking car I've ever owned. An 850 mile round trip to AZ - mostly interstate - showed 35 MPG. I rarely push the turbo 4 - - - but when I do - the car responds in a - at least to me - a satisfying manner! In addition to decent highway fuel economy and adequate low end torque the car is just plain gorgeous - inside and out.

Hold to find a honest salesman in anything but Derrick Bunger broke that cycle. Did what he said he would do how rare is that.

I love my GLB but two months and ten days, after the purchase, the engine needed a repair which was covered by the warranty. However, we were planning a lengthy trip and was thankful this did not occur while we were a few thousand miles from home. Me and My Mercedes are still trying to figure our communication out. I prefer Waz or Google Maps to their GPS system. Advance notifications of turns and such are better. Other than these issues I love driving her, Gilby.

I absolutely love this compact SUV! Coming from a Subaru Outback, this is light years above and beyond for same year. A quiet cabin is my top want for buying a car. This cabin is quiet and relaxing inside. I’m tall and there is plenty of room. The seats are incredible! Can’t wait to take it on the roads in winter.

I did not purchase a car from Mike. However he was very thorough and all his communication with me. Sent me a very detailed video of the vehicle I was interested in. I appreciate his quick response, as well as his thoroughness, since I had told him that I was out of state. The vehicle was in good shape. Did not make the drive to purchase from Mike, is that I found another similar vehicle local to me, which saved me a trip.

After finding a 2012 Mustang boss 302 online, I called the dealership to check about it. Nolan was incredibly helpful, thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. He sent me a video in which he tried to point out every flaw in the car. I can’t find anything that he missed. Based on the Carfax report, and Nolan‘s extremely helpful information, I flew to the Milford area to inspect the car and drove it home. I couldn’t be more pleased. Nolan represents the dealership well, and the dealership appears to be a great organization with carefully selected cars. It’s unlikely that I will travel from Phoenix AZ to Milford again to buy a car, unless they have something special that I feel I need. But if they do, I would go in a heartbeat. Terrific experience. And as an added plus, Nolan is a genuine car guy. That’s not common enough in car dealers. He knew the car, he knew the significance of the car, and he wasn’t pushing it. Great guy.

I bought my car sight unseen, Clean Carfax and was someone’s corporate car so it had extremely low mileage for the year(80k) and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! Had never driven the ML other than a friend’s 2005 but the 2 don’t compare. I will drive this car until the wheels fall off and would definitely but another one

I have the GLC43 AMG and it's awsome! It has plenty of guts and is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone.
