I have driven an S Class Mercedes since 1995. I have not owned anything else. This 2023 S 580 4matic is amazing. With four wheel steering, turns are tighter than you predict. The performance is more than I can handle today and more than adequate. Interior, comfort and exterior are all within my normal Mercedes expectations. After driving this vehicle for 30 years, I am not sure I can accept LESS. Most any vehicle is accepting LESS. I also own a 2020 Range Rover Sport supercharged V8. Just as impressive but not as comfortable. The S Class is what all other vehicle manufacturers are typically chasing to "meet". I have test driven many comparable cars, but none worth buying.

Second vehicle I’ve purchased from Greens. Both times it was relatively painless and low pressure. I would purchase from them again.

This is our second GLC 300. We love the size and features for our needs (two people). Good mileage 27-29+ around town, 30-32 highway. Smooth ride, easy handling, and I think, nice styling. Newer models have larger screen and are more electronically controlled from the screen. Fields of Orange Park, Fl. has great Service, not cheap, "Mercedes" nuff said, but they will take care of you.

Most reliable and usefull car I've had as a daily driver. Everything in the interior is placed where it should be found functionally. Power, while not a muscle car, is more than adequate. Gas mileage is excellent. Adjusting from Comfort to Sport make a very noticeable impact on the driving experience from gear shifting to steering...

I absolutely love the feel and performance of this suv. The electronics are state of the art. Excellent road performance in rain, snow or wind. My only complaint is the running board- it needs to be at least 1 inch wider. Actually dangerous in snow and ice.

Had the car for four years only had to do basic maintenance like tires an front brakes rear brakes tcase transmission service rear diff. Driven the thing like 65k in those four years perfect for road trips handles pretty decent in the snow an ice, you can tell it's a little heavy going down hill but the trans in snow mode does it's wizardry magic an can keep you going slow. Uphill is a little more exciting in the snow due to the rear wheel bias on the 4matic system but once it kicks the rear end out it reels it back in. It definitely likes the colder air I don't know if it's the intercooler being heat soaked but living somewhere where it's 100 plus in the summer I can tell it's not as peppy versus the winter time when it's in the teens. Interior has held up great with kids. Only thing that's broke on the inside is the springs for the cup holders an the trunk button which wasn't my fault had a friend driving it an they pulled it to hard. The exterior is honestly timeless you can't tell it's a four year old car not to flashy or dull it's a suttle boujee. The service at Mercedes has always been super, everyone thinks you're going to pay an arm an a leg for service but honestly only having to go in once maybe twice a year it's not terrible versus every 5k on other cars I've owned. The factory warranty ran out but Mercedes offered extended for an extra fours on top of the factory unlimited mileage bumper to bumper so they give you peace of mind an it makes you feel like they have faith in their own product to give you unlimited miles. In all the experience has been exciting the turbos spool up quick an gives you a little stu stu, from a dig your pretty quick, when you down shift the exhaust gives you some pops an bangs. Interior looks nice don't really think it'll age terribly considered everything now a days comes with giant screens. An as a technician for a different manufacturer it's not terrible to work on. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great car, terrible dealers and maintenance costs. I have had two GLA vehicles, a 2016 GLA45 AMG and this one a 2018 GLA 250 AWD. I have a love-hate relationship. The car itself is really enjoyable and the 208hp dual clutch drive train is nearly perfect in my mind for sporty but efficient driving. It has good acceleration, little to no lag and I can consistently hit the high 30’s for mileage in the mountains of Colorado. I have gotten 38mpg over a 250 mile trip. It is mid 20’s around town which is good because you need premium gas. The storage areas are small-ish and funky but doable and has two USB ports in the center console with no grooves for the cables but they will pass through. I recommend blind spot detection as a must because the side mirrors have a large blind spot you cannot dial out. The car runs very smoothly, absorbs bumps well and decent sound proofing for this size. The power lift gates, keyless doors on all four doors just touching the handles is perhaps my favorite comfort feature. It drives like a car so if you like high SUV seating positions this is not for you. Air works great, electronics are kind of odd for 2018 so having Apple Car Play is a must in my mind if you are buying used. I really love the car for it’s details, lovely interior and performance and can recommend it to others based on those things. The huge negative for Mercedes is they are hands down the worst dealerships and I interacted with three. They do all the classic dealer tricks and the maintenance costs on a car running perfectly fine will make you bleed. An A service (odd years) was $933.00 and they wisely will not tell you that till you show up. Shop around as another dealer was only about 60% of that. I just replaced a dead battery today and it was $639.00 and done in less than an hour. I would go to an independent shop for half price maintenance unless a warranty item (I have extended/CPO). In the end this makes me give up on Mercedes. Cars are wonderfully engineered and truly enjoyable and look great but dealers and everything associated suck. Yeah, I know there are probably good ones and if you don’t mind a siphon in your wallet and typical dealer tricks then you will love them and they will love you. So, 100% recommend the car and a 100% thumbs down on the dealers. Research yours carefully and if good or if you can go to an independent then jump on the car if you like sporty, elegant and fun.

I was initially somewhat apprehensive due to the remote nature of the sale(buying a car in KY and shipping it to CT). Leo was so kind and so professional every step of the way! Had two issues; Evaporator Core had to be replaced ($4k) and the drivers seat (Mtex) ripped two times and appears to be ready to rip again. The evaporator core failed when the car was 4 years old. It is a common problem. Recommend anyone with this vehicle purchase an extended warranty. Also, the front brakes only last for 25K miles. They are very soft and very expensive (dealer cost to replace $1,200, DIY is $250).

I think my first review was sent unfinished will try again.I ordered a Mercedes GL two months ago to be build as I wanted. I was given a trade in price promise of a very low interest rate. My new car came near the date promised and built exactly as I ask. I had put more miles on my trade than would have been normal. Still got my original trade price and was given retail value for tax title. My new loan had been prearranged, no hassle for extras at closing I was on my way in half an hour. My excellent salesman Barry Wilson , as he knew I was in a hurry gave me the basic on the car with the promise I would return in two days for explanation of every detail. I knew I would have more questions. This is my twelfth new Mercedes in twenty years. Manager Mark Gold and salesman Barry Wilson treated me as an old personal friend and as if I was buying a fleet of new autos. Thanks very much

Bought this car used in 2020, 30k miles when I bought it. It now has just about 50k, two years later. The only problem I’ve encountered with it so far is the battery running out. I was able to get it replaced under the warranty. It’s by far my favorite vehicle, love the sporty style, the interior, gas mileage. Only con I would have to mention is the low profile tires, feeling every bump in the road. I have to drive very slowly over railroads. However, I love the look of the low profile. The drive is smooth and pretty quiet on the freeway. Great speakers, great bass. Love the panoramic sunroof. Highly recommend this C Class!

The ride is amazing! Handles like a dream! Loving the “Hey Mercedes” feature built into the car! No fussing with screens or buttons while in traffic or driving. Just say “Hey Mercedes” and the car will do many things with a voice command. It will even tell you a joke if you ask!

I’ve had many Mercedes-Benz models over the years, including AMG’s and the GLS 450 a wheel drive with 23 inch wheels makes this car track like a race car. Out of all the Mercedes-Benz models this is the best one you’ve ever had. The second row seats reclining just like the front row seats privacy shades and the third row comes in handy when needed plenty of cargo space for all those trips to the airport to pick up family and friends. It gets great gas mileage then other SUVs and it doesn’t look like a box like it’s competition. I had the dealer put the Mercedes-Benz standup medallion on the hood even though it has a huge Mercedes-Benz insignia on the front. I just like to see the stand up Star medallion from the driver seat guide me down the road..

I recently purchased a vehicle from James Motors in Lexington. I have to say it was my best experience ever purchasing a vehicle. I'm a single, older woman and the process can be intimidating. But, there was none of the usual pressure or haggling back and forth. They were super easy to deal with and even went above and beyond by allowing me to take the car early because they were experiencing computer issues. It’s been a great month of getting to know my new vehicle! I waited 12 weeks from the date of order to pick up my new 2023 GLC, and it was definitely worth the wait! I selected the Exclusive trim, Driver Assistance and AMG Line packages with several add-ons, and I could not be happier. My previous car was a fully loaded 2019 GLC 300, and it was unfortunately totaled in early February on a road trip. My first one was the favorite car I had ever owned and it kept us so safe during our accident, so I knew I wanted a second one. I did not realize I would have to wait so long to get a new one but I am happy I did not settle for anything else. The drive is sporty and smooth, and very quiet. It has a slight hesitation from a full stop. Once you take off it picks up very quickly and sport mode on the freeway is great. The upgraded electronics have been easy for me to understand after I read through the owners manual. One recommendation I have is to turn off the automatic speed change if you are using cruise control and happen to go through a construction zone. The cameras pick up the sign and slows the car down very quickly. I prefer to adjust to those situations manually. The car feels a bit bigger and is so attractive and comfortable. It feels much more luxurious than my 2019 did, and in my opinion the upgrades are worth the price. I absolutely love this car! Happy Shopping!
