After taking my 23 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali for a diagnostic service at the dealership where it was purchased I left there with no resolve; so I took it to Bob Howard GMC and I?m glad I did. Mark in the service dept. took a genuine interest in diagnosing my trucks issue and ultimately got it running like brand new. He gave some good information about the use of Top Tier gasoline and even recommended where I could buy it for a reasonable price which was great! I?m taking my truck to Bob Howard GMC from now on! Bought my used Marquis for 800 $ , 144,000 original miles. Its exceeded my expectations, very easy to work on . Would recommend for long trips. The previous owner had another car and wasn't using my car at all. He basically left it sitting for what seems an eternity. I thought it would need a few things before I drove away , surprisingly not I drove it home the same day . The only thing that bothered me was the leather seats , I switched them out for cloth seats and it feels much better. It does waste a good bit of gas but I'd say its worth it . Ps. Paying homage to one of the last rear wheel drive v8 sedans 👍

Bought car with 88k. Always garage kept so very good condition. Changed ALL fluids, plugs, serpentine belt. Now at 104k Mike’s with new set of tires - next size up 235R65 instead of 225R65. Improved ride. Speedo went from 2 mph under at 60 mph to 3 mph over as a result but worth it for the ride - Hancook tires. Very quiet comfy ride. Huge cargo area but poor legroom in rear seat - my only complaint. 24 mpg highway.

Bought this cream puff in 2010 with 23,000 geezer miles from an estate sale. Now has 85K (geezer miles) and has been the best car I've ever owned starting with my 1964 Ford Galaxie 500. I replaced one coil and a small inexpensive part for the emissions system and that's it! The secret of these models is that if you can drive at 55-58MPH you will get >31 MPG. I drove from Truckee Calif to Los Angeles via Reno Nv. (~500 miles) on one tank. But even at a steady 70 MPH I routinely get 27+MPG. Luxurious, efficient,reliable and inexpensive used car. My only demerit is the handling for this particular car is not tight and controlled like a Japanese car. It is a bit like pushing a barge and making numerous, tiresome corrections on a constant basis. I am almost used to this though.

Mine is a 06 LS ultimate with the Handling performance package. Its a very reliable tank. Drives through the snow just fine. I hit a deer at 70mph and all it needed was a headlight assembly and a header panel. Also getting a go rhino front bumper with wrap around headlight protectors makes hitting black bears a non-issue, believe me I've hit one. Still think the car would benefit if it had 300hp

I have a 2005 Grand Marquis LS, and this care is awesome! I did modify it slightly with a K&N cold air induction and custom made dual stainless steel exhaust. The car is so great for cruising because it is like sitting in your living room on the couch.

I bought my 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis in 2020 when it was already 20 years old, it runs and drives like its brand new, Ive owned it 3 years now and it is by far one of the best cars I have ever owned, plenty of power, reliable and I completely trust in this vehicle to get me where I am going and Back . good maintenance and care and these cars will last a long time

I never realized what a great car this would be until I owned it. Over 222K and still going strong. Mostly small maintenance needed, a couple of big things as we got over 200K but I wish they still made this platform!

I currently own 4 Grand Marquis’ a 1994 48K miles, 1996 51 K miles, 2008 49k miles. (All of them I bought from the original owners) & another 2008 151K miles (daily driver). ALL of them have been VERY dependable. Oh! By the way all of them have lived in Texas their entire lives.

If you're looking for a big comfy boat that you never have to work on, this is it. The interior could've used some better plastics, but the dash is straight out of the 90's, in a good way, same as a Vic. The interior holds up well, the 2.73 rear end gives you good highway milage (Got 27 once going from STL to Baltimore, usually 25), plenty of get up and go, and if you want a bit better handling, ADTR has a bunch of quality suspension parts that makes this boat ride flat. The 4.6 2V is one of the best motors Ford built in regards to reliability, especially with the PI heads that pretty much fix the spark plug issue, the variable rack makes steering much more "sporty", if you can call it that, than the previous reciprocating ball, the 4R75E trans is good if you actually service it on time, and if you do have to fix anything, parts are plentiful, cheap, and east to get at, and since every part is the same as a vic besides the the front end and trunk lid you can find them at any junk yard. Bought mine for 7,500 witj 50k miles. 10/10 would recommend.

My 96 Merc Grand Marquis is probably the most reliable car I have owned, while it is not infallable. I have discovered that a code reader and being able to change the EGR Valve, Throttle Position Sensor, Mass Airflow Sensor, Oxygen Sensors and Window Regulator gears as well as keep the oil changed is all that's needed. I have over 300,000 miles on it now and it still runs well. Seems to have lost a little pep, but not very much. Amazing car.
